Description

Our client is a fully remote tech-enabled design company targeting the very best designers and project managers from top-tier agencies anywhere in the world. Today, they have 130 employees in 50 countries. The company is backed by Sam Altman (former president of Y Combinator), Geoff Ralston (president of Y Combinator), Paul Buchheit (creator of Gmail), Slack Fund, Freestyle Capital, High Alpha Capital and Alliance Ventures. Their clients are primarily US-based brands, which include Amazon, Puma, Twitch, S&S Activewear, Cisco, Tiffany & Co., and others.

Now they are looking for a remote Lead Java Developer who will be leading the work on building the monitoring system for the whole application from the server point of view.

Requirements

Please note that the company is ready to consider CIS or EU-based candidates only.

Must have skills:

• Experience with Kotlin and/or Java 
• DevOps experience and experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins 
• Experience in distributed systems, and how to migrate a monolithic service to microservices
• Deep knowledge of AWS services
• Strong knowledge in SQL and RDBMS databases 
• Strong knowledge in logging tools 
• Interest in design and project management systems
• Experience working in a cross-functional product team 

Good to have skills:

• Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Team leading experience
