Lead DevOps Engineer

Inktech - an international IT product holding company. Founded in 2017, the company continues to establish innovative tech and marketing solutions worldwide. We provide our clients with efficient solutions in digital marketing, creativity, design, traffic, and payment systems for the global entertainment industry.
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Lead DevOps Engineer to join our project on development of our own payment system. The project is rapidly growing which causes an increase of workload and expansion of work tools and approaches. We plan an international launch in the near future.
We work with: GKE, K8s, PHP, Symfony, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Google object storage, React, TypeScript, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• 2 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer;
• Knowledge and understanding of networking systems (OSI, TCP/IP);
• Linux – admin level proficiency;
• Proficient in operating and configuring Nginx and HAproxy;
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform;
• Familiarity with CNI + networking GCP.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm. Knowledge of K8s 2nd day operations, experience of integration for low-level components in K8s: CNI, CRI;
• Experience with DevOps tools: Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform;
• Expertise in databases: PostgreSQL, Redis;
• Proficiency in operating and configuring systems of monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or ELK;
• Experience with message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka;
• Commitment to IaC (Infrastructure as Code) approach using Terraform + Terragrunt tools.

Responsibilities:

• DevOps team-management: planning and delegation of tasks, motivation and development of team members, conducting retrospectives;
• Strategic planning: prioritization of DevOps initiatives, improvement of processes and tools, estimation and selection of new technologies;
• Technical management of features;
• Engineering and development of project infrastructure, allocation of cloud resources;
• Monitoring and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Ensuring high availability, scalability and fault tolerance;
• Development and support of CI/CD pipelines, Helm-charts and Ansible playbooks;
• Automation of observability processes: logging, monitoring, apm, event tracking;
• Maintenance of K8s cluster in Google Cloud Platform;
• Maintenance of Database Management Systems (Postgres cluster, Redis);
• Maintenance of message broker (Kafka);
• Implementation and management of dynamic QA and DEV environments.
