It looks like Lea Michele found paradise!
The Glee star celebrated her special birthday this Labor Day weekend by relaxing in sunny Mexico.
"Soaking up some sun in gorgeous #Mexico at the amazing @garzablancapvr...28 is feeling great!" she Tweeted while relaxing in a hammock overlooking the ocean water. "It doesn't get any more beautiful than this!"
Whether lounging by the pool with her close girlfriends or enjoying perfect sunsets, the actress soaked up every minute of the last days of summer in her Babajaan and Acacia swimwear.
She also couldn't help but flaunt that bikini body. While posing on the balcony of her hotel room, Michele showed off her impressive butt and summer physique.
The relaxing trip to Mexico comes after the talented singer enjoyed a birthday dinner with friends Friday night.
Catered by food writer Claire Thomas of The Kitchy Kitchen, the intimate dinner featured roasted tomato lasagna, a burrata cheese and stone fruit salad and more delicious treats.
"So much birthday love today... Makes me so happy," Michele Tweeted . "Thank you all for making this day so extra special!"
Now, it's back to work for the Fox star who is filming the final season of Glee . The show's sixth season was recently trimmed from 22 to 13 episodes.
Fans can expect to see a time-jump and a shift away from New York, as well as a reduced role for Naya Rivera , who will no longer be a series regular.
The final episodes will begin airing in 2015.

Lea Michele retreated to her favorite Mexican locale to ring in the New Year with her boyfriend Matthew Paetz , and served up a heavy dose of déjà vu with a photo shared to her Instagram account on Thursday, Jan. 1.
It was around this time last year that the Glee actress, 28, shared an almost-identical picture of herself on vacation in Mexico, swinging around a small palm tree as she bared her bum in a tiny black bikini. For this New Year's pose, the petite powerhouse got rid of her top as she overlooked the tropical terrain. "Let's do this 2015!" she captioned the sexy shot.

The serene snap was posted just a week shy of the two-hour Jan. 9 premiere for the final season of Glee . As seen in previews , Michele’s character Rachel Berry will cover Idina Menzel ’ s “Let It Go,” from Disney’s Frozen . Last year's picture was posted six months following the passing of her boyfriend and costar Cory Monteith , who died at the age of 31 of a drug overdose.

Lea Michele is proud to say her "body's banging."
The Scream Queens star poses nude for Women's Health UK and shares her secret to being confident in her own skin. "Right now, I feel physically in my best shape and emotionally in my best place," Michele, whose Finn tattoo is in plain view, reveals to the magazine. "I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to represent myself as being some perfect girl, but I love myself, flaws and all.”
The 29-year-old actress adds that getting naked "isn't really an issue" for her.
She also discloses how her workouts have changed since Fox's musical show, Glee , wrapped. "When I left Glee , I needed something to replace all the dancing about I was doing," she explains. "I’m not the kind of person who would go to the gym. For me, working out has to be good for my mind too, and when I leave [spinning class SoulCycle], the endorphins are buzzing, I’m glowing and I feel like I can take on the world.”
Michele took to social media late Sunday to share the images from her bare-all cover shoot. “So honored to follow in the great @chrissyteigen 's footsteps and grace this years cover of @ukwomenshealth Naked Issue,” she wrote. “I'm so proud of this cover and I'm so happy I can finally share it with you all!”
Last summer, Michele and her Scream Queens co-star got really into Pilates . "Only Emma Roberts could make working out this hard so much fun!" she told ET. "Love you lady! So happy we are here on this adventure together!"
