Hi, assuming that you mean the one in Nice and not Paris as I have never been to one by that name in Paris. You could try Les Pechers in the Port which has nice seafood and in great location in port. In old town I would suggest Bistrot d'Antoine which is really lovely and very popular year round with locals. You should reserve a table and very few tables outside but inside I think is better as ambiance is really nice.

I think they have ;icenced the name on for London and Dubai, certainly they do not have the same ambience nor rude head waiters as they do in Nice.

We had read lots of reviews on the poor service and when we arrived as they were opening no one seemed to be in charge or check on us ie if we had a booking or not... after a few mins we got that sorted... and sat down. From there it was only goodness. We had a great waiter. He had no issue that we couldnβt speak French. He gave great recommendations on the food and wine. We were impressed with the food . The warm goats cheese was amazing, I had king prawns, my husband steak rissini and our other friends had the sole fish. All great. Recommended wine was terrific and the complimentary limoncello a nice finish. We would definitely go back despite the slightly bumpy start. More
I am one of those who only writes reviews if a restaurant is fantastic or terrible. Unfortunately, my experience today was the latter. I am frankly still in shock at how appallingly my wife and I were treated upon arrival. My wife and I have... been coming to Nice for years, and she has always liked the food there (it is pretty good, but really nothing earth-shatteringly special). It was a hot day so I was wearing beige khaki shorts and a plain white Ralph Lauren t-shirt (ironed, not ripped, totally decent). My wife looked lovely and was dressed very well. The lady who greeted us literally looked us up and down (with a dramatic move of the head (I'm not exaggerating) and with a disgusted face akin to a really bad gossip reality tv show) and said 'we're full'. There were maybe four tables occupied out of 20 or so, an observation I (honestly) very politely pointed out. Then the manager threw her hands up and extremely reluctantly said "ok ok! sit there!' aggressively pointing to an empty table. I looked at my wife and we both immediately walked out. Like I said, we have coming to France for years and we know Nice very well. A slight arrogance is part of the Southern French charm and it's even funny sometimes when you take it at face value, but this was a level of disrespect I don't think I have ever experienced from someone in the food service industry, as a prospective paying customer no less. There are so many alternatives that are equally or more delicious, and with a staff that treat you like a service professional should. I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere. More
My husband and I came to the restaurant to book a table for any day during the upcoming week. The owner, a very mean old lady once heard that we don't speak French completely refused even to talk to us. However, we easily booked a... table via our hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant they cannot refuse us the table, but they served us with the different way then their French guests. The waiter tried to squeeze tips from us (the only one place in whole French Riviera) and the owner was really rude. More
Had an amazing night with great service and food. The live band was amazing and lift everything to another level. Go there but make sure to book a table in advance.
We came on 1 of July (23:30) to have a dinner with my friend, well we walk in because there was some nice live music on the terrace. From the beginning, the guy who served us seemed to be not a nice person at all!... but to be a moron it is his own decision. Overall any conversation or approach of the STAFF WAS AWFUL on my question if they have any plates with cheeses and meat for wine... he answered me that I have the menu in the front of me, I never heard a more rude and stupid answer from the waiter . Because my friend was hungry he made a big mistake straight away to order some seafood dish, they bring it in a few minutes. Obviously it was remaining from somewhere or even worst than that, NOT FRESH AT ALL. So we spent there around 15 minutes and left. I was on french riviera for a few weeks. Never saw something like that really, if you would like to spoil your mood and have a NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE than that place is the best! More
This is one of the best restaurants we've been to... and we've been to a lot!
The food is absolutely outstanding. It's not michelin star style fancy food, but more simple plates that are full of the most beautiful flavours.
After we sat we were... given complementary tapenade (which was good) and a kind of hot onion tart (which was excellent). We had a starter each, hot fried goats cheese and the bone marrow, both were exceptional. We genuinely thought the main might be a bit of a let down after such a tasty start but absolutely not. We have one of the largest and most beautifully cooked Sole Meuniere I've ever eaten.
Coupled with the excellent live music played by musicians strolling between the tables (they never asked for or received any tips) the whole experience was outstanding.
Our waiter, Frank, was also friendly and attentive.
It's not the cheapest place to eat in Nice but I would imagine it is one of the best, if not 'the' best. More
Even the restaurant is not very well decorated, the tables is with raw vegetables decoration, I ate the most beautiful lobster spaghetti in my life. I wait until the next time. It is not by lack that President Sarkozi and Makron use this restaurant. Thank... you for the experience... More
This is a place that I always like to go back and eat when Iβm in Nice. The food is very good and fresh . Ambience is great. And I feel itβs more authentic than the other franchises as you get to see the chef/... owner Nicole every day lunch and dinner time . I love this place and honestly I donβt waste my time visiting other places . I just go there every night while in Nice! More
well a little far of french cuisine ,a lot of '"show of " but in fact all average !!!! only prices are too much !!!
I was very excited to return about 20 years later.. BUT WHAT A JOKE! Dirty dishes, bad service, missing orders..the food is good but not great, and definitely not worth the 100$ per person bill. There are far better restaurants in Nice with better food... and service. I will not be back for at least another 20 years! More
