Not sure what level you are but the La Joyere takes you to a lovely beginners area and then a slightly rickety chair to access the rest of the resort. The Rosay takes you directly into the main skiing area. La CLusaz has some lovely skiing but is a little more spread out than Le Grand Bornand which is more contained and if you time it right you can ski in the sun when it's out! Terrain wise we've been going for 15 years and never got bored but we tend to make our own tracks - if you like skiing on piste there are longer runs in La Clusaz but you can link runs in Le Grand Bornand to make them longer if you wish. Plenty of lovely places to stop for a drink or bite. They are linked by ski bus which probably takes about half an hour plus but if you have your own transport it is only about a ten minute drive. Not sure if Jan 1st is school holidays for France which could impact the parking so the bus may be the best option Then you can post your own questions or snow reports I'm looking forward to visiting this resort and hotel.
