À propos de l’importance et de la fonction des Privatvorlesungen au sein des universités allemandes au XVII e siècle

S’il existe de nombreuses traces des cours magistraux délivrés à l’époque moderne au sein des universités allemandes, rares sont les mentions des cours privés que les enseignants organisaient chez eux. Cette étude se propose donc d’évaluer l’importance de cette pratique pour les professeurs et étudiants, mais aussi pour le fonctionnement des universités. Par ailleurs, il semble qu’un regard sur ces cours permet de mieux saisir comment la forme du séminaire a pu naître et s’enraciner au XIX e siècle dans les universités allemandes.
While numerous signs and traces remain from the public lectures given during the early modern era in German universities, mentions of the private lessons held by the teachers at their homes are seldom found. This study intends to appraise the importance of these private lectures both for teachers and students as well as for the functioning of the universities. In addition, a close look at these lessons appears to enable us to understand how the seminar form was born and how it became rooted in German universities during the 19 th century.
Es gibt vielfältige Dokumente zu öffentlichen Vorlesungen an deutschen Universitäten in der Neuzeit. Seltener erwähnt werden dagegen die Privatvorlesungen, die die Professoren zu Hause abhielten. Diese waren aber sowohl für die Professoren und die Studenten als auch für die Funktionsweise der Universitäten von Bedeutung. Auαerdem kann man durch die Analyse dieser Privatvorlesungen besser verstehen, wie die Form des Seminars entstanden ist und wie es im 19. Jahrhundert an den deutschen Universitäten Fuα fassen konnte.
Boris Klein, né en 1978, est professeur de lycée, doctorant en histoire (Université de Lyon II) et membre du L ARHRA (CNRS-UMR 5190). Ses recherches portent sur la transmission des savoirs au sein des universités allemandes au XVII e siècle. Il a notamment publié „Les finalités de l’enseignement de l’histoire: du lycée français au Gymnasium hessois“, Le Cartable de Clio n° 3, 2003.

The weather will be nice again this weekend hoping to see many out to ride and ski, we are still running privates .
Banquets tickets , please reserve your place for the Banquet. We need to know how many are coming.
Please note that (due to spring hours) the pro room will be only open from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Sunday when the Clifford lift is running .
Need 3 ski instructors for a one hour group ski lesson (in English) this Saturday (tomorrow) from 4 to 5 pm. It pays 20$ for the hour.
We are looking for a ski instructor to teach a 2 hour request private from 11:00AM to 1:00PM for 6 weeks starting this Sunday . The client is a 12 year old boy and is bilingual.
If you are interested and available, please contact Eric Trottier .
Snowmaking up date: we will have Canadian, the Chute and all of Clifford open for the weekend and the park as well. Weather should be good so we can look forward to a great turn out from our pupils.
Friday is a PD day so if you’re able we would be happy to see you at the hill, as we can expect more privates than usual. Please let the cage know if you can be there 819-827-1717 ext 2223
Sat and Sun Morning sessions are on, 8 am at the Clifford chair. Also I am running a skills development session this coming Monday evening, steering/separation will be the focus. Be in pro room by 630 we will be on snow 7 to 9.
I have a pair of Scott poles in my office(blue and black) someone took them by mistake and returned them.
And let’s not forget the food drive, please think of dropping off some non perishable food in the pro room. It’s a small thing and the Food bank is very appreciative of our efforts to help out.
All training is a go for this weekend, we expect everyone to be here by 9 am.
First Food Drive delivery was done this morning, we received a very big thank you from the people at the Aylmer food Bank. It’s a great thing we have begun and I hope to do another delivery next week. Thanks to all for your support on this. Let’s keep it going.
Box is ready to be filled again.
Our Top Ten priority items are:
– Peanut Butter
– Cereal and oatmeal
– Canned pasta
– Canned beans
– Salted cookies and crackers
– Canned fruits and vegetables
– Canned soups
– Dry pasta
We will be open Friday (Pinault only), Sat and Sun (Pinault and Meech). Snowmaking will resume as weather permits.
As we did last year we are looking for people to commit to a ‘ privates program’ these people will commit to ten weekends ( Saturday and/or Sunday). Customer service will book the lessons for these people. Please contact Maxine Colvey, privates coordinator, at maxine.colvey@gmail.com . We will require 8 skiers and 1 snowboarder for this program.

The Pro Room is located in the Valley, in the old Alexander Lodge, which is across from the bottom of the Clifford lift.
