Children's TV show LazyTown began in 2004, and main actress Chloe Lang, who played Stephanie, has been posting nostalgic TikToks in her old costume.
If you weren't obsessed with fictional TV show LazyTown as a kid, you've definitely spent at least some of your post-12-year-old years singing along to the ridiculously infectious songs the four seasons brought us - and unfortunately for those who can't stand bangers such as 'Bing Bang (Time to Dance)', they're resurfacing in all their glory on TikTok .
Oh, and from the actual actress who played leading character Stephanie. Pink wig and all.
Chloe Lang, who was one of two actresses who took on the pink-haired, all-singing-dancing role, has over 260K followers on the platform, and naturally, as she flourishes into a Gen-Z icon, she's giving the people what they want. And what the people happen to want, is her in her entire old costume, recreating the old LazyTown songs as if Stephanie were in 2020. Sorry, not sorry.
Think 'Cooking By The Book' remixed with Lil Jon's 'Step Yo Game Up' and a little more NSFW dance moves than we were witnessing as innocent children. The 'You are a Pirate' routine is officially out of the window.
Originally, Chloe, who played the role for seasons three and four of the show, was just posting regular comedy videos with her boyfriend and friends, before people started to realise exactly who she was - and jumped on the Megan Thee Stallion 'Savage' challenge, declaring 'I'm that b*tch...been that b*tch, still that b*tch' to clarify the speculation.
NOT Stephanie from LazyTown making a TikTok in her pink wig and costume I'm dead.
Did I just heard Stephanie from LazyTown dancing on thr F-word? What's next? Full-grown Dora The Explorer twerking along Megan Fox in a Michael Bay movie? https://t.co/4hAfBjLuWl
/ . I GO ON TIKTOK AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW IM SEEING A VID OF THE SECOND ACTRESS WHO PLAYED STEPHANIE IN LAZYTOWN BUSTING IT DOWN TO THE COOKING BY THE BOOK REMIX IMZJZZJZJZNJZ
We're gonna need you to drop 'Spooky Song' ASAP.

The actress has resurfaced as a TikTok star
emember Stephanie from LazyTown ? The actress who played her for two years has resurfaced as a TikTok star.
Fans have spotted that Chloe Lang, who played Stephanie for two years on the English-language Icelandic kids’ TV show, has been making TikToks in costume as her former character.
Lang, one of two actresses to don a pink wig and play Stephanie, has been posting TikToks in which she dances to songs that viewers will remember from the show, which ended in 2014.
With over 260,000 followers on the platform, Lang has been sharing dances to old LazyTown songs like Bing Bang (Time to Dance) - sometimes giving them a more modern update.
In one, she dons the pink wig for a TikTok set to Cooking By The Book - which then becomes the viral remix with Lil Jon that was shared on YouTube in 2017.
In another, she addresses the fact she is often asked if she is Stephanie from LazyTown, with the TikTok set to Megan Thee Stallion’s Savage.
Lang’s videos have become hugely popular, with the Savage video being viewed over 17.6 million times.
While Disney’s Toy Story brought us some of the greatest animated characters of all time, the 1999 sequel brought us into the world of Woody and Buzz even further, introducing the ‘round-up gang’ and taking the film series to new heights. The whole film is delivered with great warmth and wit, and while it might sound like a big claim, Randy Newman’s When She Loved Me, sung by Jessie in the movie, is also arguably one of the best original songs ever written for a motion picture.
Gene Wilder gives one of his most magnetic performances as the eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka in this classic film, adapted from Roald Dahl’s novel. Forget Tim Burton’s remake starring Johnny Depp, there’s really only one version of this classic story worth watching.
Disney Pixar delivered another instant classic when they released The Incredibles. As well as featuring great action set pieces, fantastic central characters Mr and Mrs Incredible, Violet and Dash, it’s also just one of the best ever premises for an animated film: superheroes are forced to go into hiding, tackling the mundane every day and only able to use their powers in private. Mr Incredible hunched over, driving to and from work in that tiny blue car and Dash being forced to hide his lightning speed during sports day are just two of the great moments in this 2004 movie.
The Oscar-winning Frozen, one of Disney’s most empowering films, became a phenomenon after being released in 2013, and it’s sure to be a favourite for decades to come. While it might have been overplayed everywhere, the film gave us one of the biggest kids anthems of recent years in the form of Let It Go, sung by the incredible Idina Menzel.
Dick Van Dyke and Sally Ann Howes star in the ever-popular 1968 classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It features great songs like Hushabye Mountain, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Toot Sweets, and it also manages to remain an-all time favourite among film fans despite the inclusion of the child catcher, one of the most genuinely terrifying movie characters of all time.
Disney have released some of the greatest children’s films ever over the years, but Aladdin is one of the studio’s all-time best pictures. Aided by a magic flying carpet and a hugely charismatic genie (voiced by the late, great Robin Williams) the ‘diamond in the rough’ Aladdin must wins the affections of Princess Jasmine and defeat the evil Jafar in this loveable film.
The Goonies is one of the ultimate coming-of-age films, and it’s been an inspiration for so many movies and TV shows ever since, not least Netflix’s sci-fi hit Stranger Things. The gang’s adventure made a huge impact on an entire generation of kids in 1985, and it remains popular today.
Matilda is another timeless Roald Dahl adaptation which manages to capture the magic of the novel. Danny Devito and Pam Ferris are both perfect as Mr Wormwood and Miss Trunchbull respectively in the film, which is exhilarating, funny and touching all at once.
Keep the change ya filthy animal… As well as being one of the best Christmas films ever, Macaulay Culkin’s Home Alone has been a hit with young film fans everywhere since its release in 1990. It’s always a fun watch, and seeing baddie Joe Pesci walking into homemade booby traps, all the while trying to make it through a PG film without swearing, is incredibly entertaining.
When a young clown fish is taken from the reef, his father will stop at nothing to save him and bring him home. As well as proving to be one of the most popular animated films of all time, Finding Nemo also spawned a successful spin-off, with the ditzy Dory getting her own movie in 2016.
If you can make it through the incredibly moving opening 10 minutes, Up is one of the best kids films of recent times. The loveable odd-couple movie sees a 78-year-old balloon salesman unintentionally head off on an unforgettable adventure with young explorer Russell and adorable golden retriever Dug. It became only the second ever animated film ever to be nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, after Beauty and the Beast.
There are so many things to love about 1994’s Disney favourite Lion King. From Elton John’s classic soundtrack, to the sassiest of vocal performances from Rowan Atkinson as Zazu and even the nods to Shakespeare’s Hamlet - which the film is loosely based on - there really is something for everyone. Just try not to get too emotional during Mufasa’s tear-jerking death scene, because it really will get you every time.
This 1939 classic is one of the most-loved children's’ films ever made, and it’s appeal is as strong now as it ever has been. The film has arguably woven its way into popular culture more than any other, with hit musicals and spin-offs taking inspiration from Judy Garland’s timeless film down the years. So, why not click your heels together three times and revisit this wonderful film once more. After all, there’s no place like home.
While we wait for the hotly-anticipated Mary Poppins Returns with Emily Blunt in the title role, the 1964 original is always worthy of revisiting. The sublime Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke (with an endearingly hit-and-miss cockney accent) are perfect leads in this, one of the all time great children’s films.
One of the best updates of a classic children’s character we’ve seen in recent years, the Paddington series is an absolute joy. The sequel – a superior follow-up to the first live-action film from 2014 – is as warm and fuzzy as the bear himself, following Paddington as he finds himself imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. The sharp script from Paul King and Simon Farnaby means there’s plenty in it for the adults, too
Viewers took to Twitter to praise Lang’s videos, with one user writing: “If there is something the world needs right now, it's definitely Stephanie from Lazytown making the Lil'John Cake Remix canon. A Number One kinda video.”
“ Can’t believe this is Stephanie from Lazytown . She did that!” wrote another.
A third wrote: “The ACTUAL actress that played Stephanie in Lazytown did the Cooking By The Book/Lil Jon mashup... think I may have just found the greatest video on the internet.”
Lang was the second actress to play Stephanie, after the original star Julianna Rose Mauriello departed the series.
Lang’s Instagram, which boasts over 65,000 followers, states that she lives in New York City.
