If you have any questions comment them below we are happy to help you. Many of you do not know my story, so I invite you to read this. I share it now because I KNOW I’m not the only one. I know that YOU probably know someone who needs this too. This took 20 years for me to get the courage to share so thank you for giving me the grace to be transparent with you! I always had BIG hair - my husband loves the BIG hair too. Who didn’t love the 90s?? When we had kids, my hair started getting thinner. Most the time women shed hair during pregnancy and after giving birth, but then it comes back. Well, mine didn’t. I have been to tons of specialists and doctors and had blood work and biopsies and they found absolutely nothing. I have alopecia. When I heard that - I thought it meant completely bald. It doesn’t. It’s means ANY type of hair loss. Mine is on my crown. It’s super thin. I tried extensions before - but the only ones I ever knew of just extended the length. I didn’t need that. I have always Camouflaged my hair loss with products, lots of hairspray, lots of teasing, and anything that would help. I had someone ask if I had cancer because my hair was so thin. I went to my car and cried. I believed the lies that satan told me. But I never let anyone know that- it was a constant war in my own head. That’s a bad place to be. I didn’t feel pretty - ever. I was embarrassed and constantly thinking about what other people thought. This was for almost 20 Years. Then January 2016, I came across a video of the Lauren Ashtyn Collection. The video showed a lady who had hair like me, and she wore a “topper” extension... they called it a Full Volume Extension - and she instantly had beautiful hair. I remember watching every video I could find from the Lauren Ashtyn Collection. I didn’t want to get my hopes up, but I think I found what I have always needed. My mom and I made an appointment to go to South Carolina to visit their salon. When I went, I saw so many other ladies - Tracey Tinsley was my stylist. My mom and I sat with her and and she helped me pick the perfect full volume extensions! She cut it for me to fit my hair and it was INSTANTLY the hair I always dreamed of. That day changed my life. I had HAIR!! Beautiful Hair!! REAL HAIR! It’s extensions - not a wig! They even called it a push up bra for your hair!! A month later, God just really put on my heart that I have 2 choices. I can keep it a secret and no one would know. OR ... I can use this to help other ladies like me and use it to share my testimony with others that my identity is NOT in my hair - but it’s in Christ. He reminded me that He uses everything for His Glory and He knows every hair on my head (He never promised to regrow it) He made me for a purpose. He didn’t look down and say “Oh man!! I forgot to put more hair on Diana!” ... No .. He knew me before I was formed in my mother’s womb and He made this way for a purpose. This last year I have been able to share my story, and my Jesus with more ladies than I have in all my life. I thank God He made me this way. I stopped hearing the lies of Satan when I started praising the God of the Universe! So my extremely supportive husband and I went back to South Carolina and had lunch with Lauren Ashtyn and her husband. That day we knew we wanted to represent her company to ladies in Georgia. We started Georgia Hair Solutions. This is so much more of a ministry than anything else. It’s helping women see they are BEAUTIFUL! Hair is just an accessory! We all need it - we all want it - but it does not identify who we are. I feel more confident and I’m not thinking about what others think anymore about ME - I’m more focused now on what they think about themselves.I am NOT a hair stylist.
