What is Midas.Investments?

Midas.Investments is a custodial crypto-investment platform focused on producing passive income on core assets such as BTC, ETH, USDT, and DeFi market. We have been operating for almost four years. Throughout this time, we’ve managed to involve over 18,000 investors, raising over 20 million dollars in assets. For a very long time, we strived to make a platform that would suit the needs of our people and the demands of potential investors. As a team, we moved by leaps and bounds, and we added many new products to the platform very quickly. At some point, we realized that all these features and investment tools had turned the platform into a spaceship, making it difficult to navigate. Therefore, we started to ask ourselves “What if we create something more simple and elegant?". 

Our goal was to make the platform as simple as transferring money to a friend. We needed to come up with a plan to make the crypto market a user-friendly experience. Our entire team of 2 product managers, 3 marketers, a product designer, and our CEO, took part in intense market research to better understand the needs of our investors. After two months of collecting feedback, analyzing clients’ paths, understanding how to facilitate the investment process, long calls, and a lot of pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, we came up with a solution to simplify the platform by removing unnecessary features and leaving only the most important: core crypto assets staking to earn interest. As we are at the MVP (minimum valuable product) stage, we really need your feedback, to make sure a new version of the platform responds to the needs of our investors: we must have something simple, fast, and attractive! 😏

What is Midas Yield? 

Midas Yield is a new version of the platform that aims to simplify the investment process in the DeFi market, through us, as experts in DeFi. The DeFi analytics team constantly monitors the market and manages risks, so we can offer our investors the highest interest rates on the market. One of the investors’ favorite products is high returns on such assets as BTC, ETH, USDT which were implemented through DeFi strategies. There is no magic behind these products, just hard math, risk assessment, and the precious work of DeFi analysts 🦾

How Does Midas Achieve the Highest APY on the Custodial Market? 

In order to reach good interest rates, we rely on the expertise of our DeFi analysts and market opportunities. There are three main sources that generate profitable strategies:

• Interest rates. You deposit an asset, and someone uses it, paying you the interest rates based on demand. Examples: AAVE, Sushi, Compound, AlphaHomora.
• Liquidity provider fees. Your liquidity is being used for AMM, paying you the fees when traders exchange one of the tokens you deposited. Examples: Uniswap, Curve, Pancakeswap.
• Token farming. This type of income generation works according to a simple scheme. We use assets to add to the DeFi project’s liquidity pools, and in return, we are given a token of this project, as liquidity providers at the agreed project rate, which changes dynamically. We do not hold tokens of protocols and shamelessly convert them to Ethereum to reduce the risks of a token crash.
