The 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards were filled with sensational performances, special moments and many winners taking home multiple trophies.
The biggest names in Latin music reunited at Watsco Center in Miami, Florida, on Sept. 29 to celebrate the chart-topping hits of the last year. Jaime Camil and “La Reina del Sur” star Kate del Castillo co-hosted the star-studded event.
Chayanne received the Billboard Icon Award and Raphael was recipient of the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award. Christina Aguilera was recognized with the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award, while Nicky Jam was honored with the Billboard Hall of Fame Award and José Feliciano received the first-ever Billboard Legend Award.
Before the night began, Bad Bunny reigned supreme with 23 nominations and took home nine awards, including artist of the year and tour of the year. His album "Un Verano Sin Ti" was awarded top Latin album of the year.
Karol G took home three trophies, and Farruko won four awards.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards kicked off Thursday and celebrated the best in Latin music over the past year.
Once again, Bad Bunny lead the pack going into the star-studded awards show, with a whopping 23 nominations - - one more than last year. Meanwhile, Colombian singer Karol G nabbed 15 nominations, seven of which are for her song, “Mamiii,” with Becky G .
The big show -- which coincided with Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami, which began Sept. 26 and runs through Sept. 30 -- featured performances from 17 different artists, including Elvis Crespo, Eslabon Armado, Farruko, Grupo Firme, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Pepe Aguilar, Maluma and Christina Aguilera.
