A Catholic School in the Marianist Tradition.

Congratulations on your Acceptance to the Bro. Joseph C. Fox Latin School!

Want to tour the Latin School from a slightly different perspective?

As big as the school is, its extremely nurturing. It offers so much for every child to thrive beautifully. My son just graduated the HS and my daughter just began 7th grade in the Latin school. Could not be happier.

My son attended The Latin School for the past 3 years...it has taught him so much and has offered so many activities which have made such a huge impact on his intellectual skills. Such a wonderful experience!

This is a great school, the staff genuinely care for the students. My son is a Class 2020 Graduate, and my younger son will enter the Latin School Program this fall.

Great School Two graduates Erin and Tim. Both also attended the Latin School...Wonderful Priests, Brothers and Teaching Staff. Go Firebirds!!!

Check out our photos from past Latin School events on our photo site.

We're excited for you to begin your journey at the Latin School!

The Latin School, a division of Kellenberg Memorial High School, is well known for its many programs that are designed to encourage your growth as a whole person. Your success, upon your enrollment, depends on your desire to grow on academic, spiritual, and personal levels. In offering you admission, we are expressing our belief in your ability to make an important contribution to our school and a commitment to your personal growth. We are confident that you will thrive in an atmosphere that educates the hearts and minds of its students.
You will be joining the Kellenberg Memorial Family at a very exciting time in our school’s history. Due to our ever-expanding spiritual activities, we recently purchased a new retreat house named “Stella Maris” on the Great South Bay and have just opened our newly-renovated science labs to accommodate our high school science classes and an ever-growing list of STEM activities.
The opportunity for all of our eighth-grade students to take Earth Science is just one of the stepping-stones to lead you along a path to success in high school. We have just added two new turf fields, in addition to our existing ones, as well as tennis courts. We like to say that the Latin School is “a friendly start to something big,” and you can certainly see why since you, our newest and youngest Firebirds, will be warmly welcomed into an environment that will nurture the growth and independence preparatory to a successful high school experience.

Educating to the Highest Standards of the Classical Tradition

Highlands Latin School is a Classical Christian School with a goal to nurture young people in both intellectual growth and the highest ideals of Christian character.

The goal of a classical education is to develop the mind of a student through Latin and Mathematics, and to develop wisdom and virtue through a careful reading of the classics. The goal of our Christian education program is to help students achieve Biblical literacy, a knowledge of church history, and a strong faith and Christian consciousness. We desire to create a school culture that is a model of excellence in both academics and Christian character.
Reading, writing, spelling, and arithmetic are the foundations upon which the tower of learning is built, and they are given the highest priority in K - 2nd grades.
The Lower School (grades 3-6) continues to reinforce the important academic and social skills emphasized in the primary (K-2) school.
The Upper School program (grades 7-12) is an excellent choice for motivated students who enjoy the challenge of learning and are pursuing a college preparatory course of study.
