Britney Spears is posing topless on Instagram frequently because she wants to look at herself in her “purest form.”
The “Toxic” singer shared more topless photos of herself Monday and explained the reason for the increased nudity on her profile — and it’s not because of plastic surgery or a pregnancy.
“No guys … I didn’t get a boob job in just a week … nor am I pregnant … I have boobs in these pics cause I devoured food !!!!” she began her lengthy caption . “Before I show you more pics of my body … I want you to understand my thoughts on exposing my skin !!!!”
Spears, 39, explained to her devoted fans and followers that she feels “better” naked after growing increasingly insecure about her body while performing.
“I mean I don’t want anybody to see the big dimple on my ass but I feel like performing made me too self conscious about my body and that’s not attractive,” she explained, adding that being naked makes her feel “lighter” after living with the “weight of the world” on her shoulders.
“I am a woman …. a beautiful … sensitive woman who needs to look at myself in my purest form !!!” she added. “No … I’m not going to do topless pics for the rest of my life cause that would get boring but it sure as hell helps when you need to be enlightened !!!!”
The “Sometimes” singer also referenced the ongoing #FreeBritney movement that’s fighting for her to be free of her conservatorship , saying the comments about it in the caption when she first posed topless were “really f–king funny” and calling the campaign “amazing.”
“There’s a way deeper meaning to the movement than you can ever imagine … my fans have always been so damn amazing and I love you all !!!!”
Spears’ explanation for her topless photos comes a few weeks after her series of nude pics started to stir concern among her fans who believed they were being posted without her consent.
But she and her fans have a lot to celebrate of late, as Spears’ father, Jamie, finally agreed to step down as her conservator .

Britney Spears posted a provocative topless photo late Saturday — her second half-nude picture in less than 48 hours — as her battle to end her controlling conservatorship rages on.
Although she’s wearing the same teeny denim cutoffs as Friday’s photo, the newer picture shows the pop star cupping her breasts just underneath her nipples — which are censored out of the image with star graphics.
Famous friends and fans were glad the singer hit them one more time with a sexy snap.
“Sliving Sis!,” friend Paris Hilton wrote on the latest pic, adding the heart-eye and fire emojis.
“Gimme gimme moreee,” “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi commented, quoting Spears’ hit 2007 single.
The sexy content has signaled a break from Spears’ ongoing family feud, including an apparently heated back-and-forth with her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
Just days before posting the skin-baring snaps, Spears appeared to mock her “mean ass” sister in a since-deleted caption on Instagram.
Less than 24 hours after Jamie Lynn wrote, “May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit,” Britney shot back, “May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today.”
Britney, 39, called out Jamie Lynn, 30, more directly on July 17 in a lengthy tirade on Instagram about her conservatorship and how it has controlled nearly every aspect of her life for more than a decade.
“I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes,” Spears wrote, adding, “My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!”
The “Slave 4 U” singer also used the post to publicly declare she would not be performing “on any stages any time soon” so long as her father, Jamie Spears, was in control of her actions.
“I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas,” Spears wrote.
Spears’ recently hired attorney , Mathew Rosengart, recently said that he and his firm are “moving aggressively and expeditiously” to file a petition that will remove Jamie from Britney’s conservatorship.
