On the Island where Titans Tower stood, an unearthly thunder storm had engulfed the area, sending the whole tower into alert. Cyborg instantly began scanning the area with Robin and Beast Boy supporting his searches. This left Starfire on her own, cowering in fear from the bolts of thunder, echoing and shaking through the tower violently.
โRobin?......Beast Boy?........Cyborg?.......Where are my friends?โ Starfire asked nervously, floating through the dark tower after it lost power, trying to find someone for comfort. Suddenly though, another crashing flash filled the halls as Stafire shrieked out of fear. โAHHHHHHHHHHH!

Hi!! I am introducing in a document some float images, and I would like to change automatically the color of the captions. I have tried this in the preamble: \renewcommand{\figurename}{\color{Blue}Figure} But it does not work. It is still black Anyone has any idea what I can do?? I use LyX under MAC OSX

The Latex Doll TG Caption Published: Sep 17, 2015

It started with the glossy lubricant that was applied over Benโs bare, naked body. Kat had forced him to shave off all his body hair, eyebrows included. She hadnโt told him why but Ben was so afraid he did it anyway. Having spent 6 hours in the boot of a car, he didnโt feel like resisting. Next came the black latex catsuit that was pulled over his body. It came up to his neck and covered his hands and feet. The chest are of the suit had two big boobs built into them. The weight of them made Ben feel uncomfortable and he wanted to slouch, not yet adjusting to his new additions.ย โA-a-ah!โ, Kat tutted.ย โYou need help with your posture, slaveโ. With that, Kat pulled a latex corset around Benโs wait. Holding on to the wall for support, Ben felt his insides crushed as Kat pulled the laces tighter and tighter. Once she was done, she tied off the laces and Benโs waist had been drawn in significantly. Kat also laced up a posture collar around Benโs neck, which served to keep his head up and stop him accessing the zip of the catsuit. โOkay sweetie, take a seat over hereโ, Kat motioned for Ben to sit down. She slid on two pointed boots which looked similar to ballet shoes, except they were rigid and forced his feet to straight down as though they were extensions of his legs. She explained heโd get used to walking in them eventually, but Ben wasnโt so sure.ย
The worst part of the transformation was that Ben was powerless to stop any of it. Regardless of if he could or not, it had gone too far now for him to go back. The final stage involved Kat applying countless layer of makeup to Benโs face. She drew on to arched eyebrows to replace the ones he was forced to shave off earlier. Black eyeshadow was applied along with thick black lashes. As Ben felt the mascara brush tug at his lashes, he knew this routine would be a regular thing for him now. There was no going back.
Kat finished her doll off with a long back wig. She explained to Ben this would suffice until his own hair grew out. Once it was long enough, sheโd get rid of the wig and die his hair black to match his outfit. She clipped a nose ring and a few earrings on to his face and stood back.ย โI have to admit, you look beautiful. Now letโs start your training, Emilyโฆโ She clipped a long length of chain to the nose ring and led Ben, now Emily, out of the room. As Ben hobbled along in his ballet boots, his mind raced with what could possibly be worse than this. Little did he know what Kat had planned for him nowโฆ

I'm creating a figure using LyX. I would like the spacing of the caption below the figure to be 1.3. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Setting the spacing to 1.3 for the entire document using the setspace command doesn't seem to work.
Unless the exact value of font size is very important, you can use the features of the caption package. (If it is, see Old answer below.)
Go to Document --> Settings --> LaTeX preamble, and add
If you want to change all the captions in your document to a larger font with added linespacing, add the following line to the preamble as well:
or if you want it to apply to tables only,
caption allows you to customize your captions a lot, see the manual for details.
If you want to apply this to just a single caption, add an ERT within the table/figure float, before the caption, and write the \captionsetup there.
I'm not sure why you want this, and I wouldn't do myself, but if you're doing this for a single caption, you can add an ERT at the beginning of the caption containing
To change the font size as well, use
The second argument to \fontsize is the baselineskip, set to 1.2 times the font size.
This does not, however, change the size of Table 1 . To change that you can use the caption package, as explained above, and use labelfont={large} .
In order to make @Torbjรธrn T. code function correctly, it is extremely necessary to load the setspace package in your preamble (and of course, copy the setspace.sty into the /texmf folder). This is due to we are using the stretch option in the \captionsetup declaration.
Of course Caption Package can change caption's line space, with the stretch option, but it is necessary to load both caption and setspace packages. (Page 38 from: http://osl.ugr.es/CTAN/macros/latex/contrib/caption/caption-eng.pdf )
