The horrifying truth:

Even if almost no one wants to admit it, our “system” is obsolete, and for this reason it is now morphing into a “closed system” – totalitarian in nature. It is equally clear that the few who continue to benefit materially from the capitalist system (the 0.1%) are willing to do whatever it takes to prolong its obsolete existence. At its root, contemporary capitalism works in a simple way: debt is issued from one door and purchased from another through the issuance of new debt in a depressive loop from which most of the destructive phenomena of our time originate.

The facilitators of the “debt-chasing-debt” mechanism are a class of profiteering technocrats whose main psychological trait is psychopathy. They are so devoted to the mechanism that they have become its extensions – like automatons, they work tirelessly for the mechanism, without any remorse for the devastation of human life it dispenses. The psychopathic dimension (uninhibited, manipulative, and criminally antisocial) is not, however, an exclusive prerogative of the transnational financial clique, but extends both to the political-institutional caste (from heads of government to local administrators) and the so-called intelligentsia (experts, journalists, scholars, philosophers, artists, etc.). In other words, the institutional mediation of reality is now entirely mediated by the mechanism itself. Whoever enters the system must accept its rules while also, ipso facto, assuming its psychopathological traits. Thus, blind capitalist objectivity (the drive for profit-making) becomes indistinguishable from the subjects representing it. Whoever enters the system must accept its rules and, at the same time, assume ipso facto its psychopathological traits.

Aunque casi nadie quiera admitirlo, nuestro "sistema" está obsoleto, y por esta razón se está transformando en un "sistema cerrado", de naturaleza totalitaria. Está igualmente claro que los pocos que siguen beneficiándose materialmente del sistema capitalista (el 0,1%) están dispuestos a hacer lo que haga falta para prolongar su obsoleta existencia. En su raíz, el capitalismo contemporáneo funciona de una manera sencilla: se emite deuda por una puerta y se compra por otra mediante la emisión de nueva deuda en un bucle depresivo del que proceden la mayoría de los fenómenos destructivos de nuestro tiempo.

Los facilitadores del mecanismo de "persecución de la deuda" son una clase de tecnócratas especuladores cuyo principal rasgo psicológico es la psicopatía. Están tan entregados al mecanismo que se han convertido en sus extensiones: como autómatas, trabajan incansablemente para el mecanismo, sin ningún remordimiento por la devastación de la vida humana que dispensa. La dimensión psicopática (desinhibida, manipuladora y criminalmente antisocial) no es, sin embargo, una prerrogativa exclusiva de la camarilla financiera transnacional, sino que se extiende tanto a la casta político-institucional (desde jefes de gobierno a administradores locales) como a la llamada intelligentsia (expertos, periodistas, académicos, filósofos, artistas, etc.). En otras palabras, la mediación institucional de la realidad está ahora totalmente mediada por el propio mecanismo. Quien entra en el sistema debe aceptar sus reglas y, al mismo tiempo, asumir ipso facto sus rasgos psicopatológicos.
