I am going to stay in Cay Beach Sun apartments. Are these apartments near a naturist beachs or naturist conplex.
no - not close.... a drive away you have a nuddy beach at Papagayo, but it is discreet.
Is there a bus service to this naturist beach ( or any naturist beach from this hotel / apartment complex?)
doubtful, but car hire is cheap and easy.
FYI - Naturism is allowed on any beach but the nearest on is papagayo as stated.
No bus service to the naturist beach at Papagayo.....only two options car hire and pay at the toll gate (used to be 3€ per car ...may have increased a bit) or walk there across the headland(need good shoes as the track can get a little challenging in places).
None of the beaches in or near Playa Blanca are specifically naturist beaches. You will come across naturists on the furthest beaches of Papagayo but as these beaches are all really popular with visitors and children, you'll have to be discreet.
As others have stated, there is no bus service to the headland. Walk, or hire a cab.
I wouldn't advise going naked on the town beach, or the two man made beaches, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo - you will be asked to cover up by the lifeguards if you're lucky, or arrested by the policia.
If you have a car , try the black beach at Las Salinas de Janubio on the way to Los Hervideros . It's not really a swimming beach as the surf can get totally outrageous, (but it's fun to play in), but again, it's not specifically a nudist beach, there are children there, so again, a measure of discretion is required. There are rocks a plenty to lie discreetly beside.
Further up the island, by Mala, there is a nudist resort, Charco de Palo. We went exploring a few years ago, on some of the less well known back roads to see what we could see. We got out of the car , and this sturfy German chap walked past in the buff. OK we thought, and went to the supermarket for some ice-cream. Ah. Lots more Germans doing their shopping in nothing but flipflops and a smile. We wandered over to the cliff edge (no beach here) and looking over, on every ledge, scores of naked Germans. Definitely a nudist resort!
Again though, you'll need a car to get there.
You could also go naked discreetly (i.e. no parading up and down the beach) on Famara particularly round under the cliffs, where there are stone shelters which you can strip off and sunbathe if that's your thing.
The Spanish, despite being quite forward thinking in some ways, don't have much tolerance for inappropriate displays of public nudity, so do take care even on remote beaches, as Lanzarote is now so busy with tourists, it's hard to find space to yourself, and even more so if you've a yen to take your clothes off I would imagine!
Nice beach to the left of Orzola. But it is at the other end of the island!
Interesting fact here.......public nudity is legal in Spain ,,,,,you cannot be arrested for it !!!....however should someone complain the Policia can ask you to move on BUT not cover up.
A few years ago I witnessed a brave soul wander naked from Matagorda to the beach at Guacimeta.......people talked and pointed but at no stage did anyone call the Policia.....if anyone does complain it is usually other holidaymakers as most Spanish are aware of the laws.

Are there any nudist beaches in walking distance from the H10 Rubicon Palace
You need to head towards the Papagayo beachs, plenty of options then
If you want to stay at Natura Palace it has its own private naturist area.
It must be about a 5 mile walk from the Rubicon Palace to the first ( Playa Mujeres ) of a series of beaches at Papagayo. These beaches then stretch another 3 miles or so right round the South-East corner of the island. The main naturist beach is the second last of these (at Caleta del Congrio) up over the hill past the refreshment facilities and car park which are above Papagayo Beach itself.
The walk to get there is pleasant along the prom (up to the Papagayo Arena Hotel) but the distance is probably prohibitive for most. So, unless you're fit, mobile and really enjoy walking, it may be best to hire a car , take a taxi or hop on the No 30 public bus right outside the hotel. For just over a euro per person flat fare, the bus takes you in less than half an hour to the furthest stop East on the route at Las Coloradas, from where it's a further 15 minute walk (careful in parts) further East to the first of the beaches.

We would like to sunbathe nude whilst in Playa Blanca area. What can anyone tell us about the beaches nearby within walking distance and driving. We would want to go every day for 2 weeks.Any hotels to reccomend that are near nude beaches?...Thanks
I don't know if it's still the case, but some of the beaches at Papagayo used to permit nude sunbathing. It's not walkable from Playa Blanca , but there are roads (unsurfaced) to the beaches.
Yes, the Papagayo beaches still allow it. Nearest hotel to there is the Papagayo Arena - which is amongst the best in Playa Blanca . And you can easily walk to the beaches from there.
Also, you can park up there to walk.
There is also a taxi boat Service from the Marina
Hi, the nearest hotel to the beaches along the Papagayo peninsula is the Papagayo Arena....a lovely 4 star hotel with wonderful service & food. The best nudist beach is the very last one that you come to on the Papagayo National park (unfortunatly I cant remember the name of it) but all the papagayo beaches have nudist areas. But you do need a car to reach them, or its a long walk with steep hills down to most of the beaches.
