January 8 – 18, 2020 | Potrero Stage, San Francisco, CA
Every family has its mythologies: Amy and Ruthie share one they have tried to forget. When the sisters return to their family cabin to decide its fate, they begin a moving, lyrical journey through memory and omission, love and grief, lost and found, and the overwhelming power of family history.

In March 2018 I returned to PianoFight for another round of The Music/Scene, an immersive event that fuses theatre and indie music performances. In this round, I directed playwright Gabriel Lief Bellman’s script Flo .
The Music/Scene was produced by Sara Judge and Megan Cohen at PianoFight in San Francisco, CA. The show opened March 5th, 2018.
In March 2018, I will direct John Logan’s RED for Bread & Butter Theatre.
Master abstract expressionist Mark Rothko has just landed the biggest commission in the history of modern art, a series of murals for New York’s famed Four Seasons Restaurant. In the two fascinating years that follow, Rothko works feverishly with his young assistant, Ken, in his studio on the Bowery. But when Ken gains the confidence to challenge him, Rothko faces the agonizing possibility that his crowning achievement could also become his undoing. Raw and provocative, RED is a searing portrait of an artist’s ambition and vulnerability as he tries to create a definitive work for an extraordinary setting.
Red was nominated seven Tony Awards, winning the 2010 Tony for Best Play.
Runs March 23-31st at the Phoenix Theatre in San Francisco

It was a pleasure to shoot and edit the trailer for this upcoming production of The Mariner from Third Cloud From the Left! It’s a beautiful and haunting piece, and the intimate staging allows the actors to work with nuance and sensitivity normally reserved for the screen.

Lana Palmer for Edmonton City Council Ward 4- Dene
An unconventional candidate for unconventional times. I am tired of elected officials who spend irresponsibly, make empty promises, and pander for political gain. No more. I am running for city council to give the every-day Edmontonian a voice.
My commitment at City Council is to:
As a wife, mother, and business woman, I care deeply for my community and I would like to see Edmonton prosper through careful and thoughtful governance - defensible decisions based on sound data.
Are you tired of all the nonsense? Are you ready to challenge the status-quo? If that is you, please get involved. Let’s build a city that our children will never want to leave.
Fundamental Services that I believe should be prioritized.
Transit. We need safe, reliable, affordable transit in our city.
Community leagues and programs that foster healthy neighbourhoods.
A police force that is supported by its municipality and has the resources necessary to keep our community safe.
Preservation and maintenance of our parks and green spaces.
The careful and thoughtful investment of your tax dollars into programs that will increase job opportunities and improve life for ALL.
I have called Edmonton home for the last 18 years.
I am happily married with 3 children.
I am not a conventional politician.
Being a cryptocurrency-friendly city does not cost Edmontonians any money and can have a tremendous positive impact on our city.
The City of Edmonton is asking the wrong question. Is it in the best interest of Edmontonians to lay off 100 bus cleaners? The answer is no.
My mission is to have a "no nonsense" approach to all issues and decisions that are being made in Edmonton.
