Ok, there's some news finally. A week ago (30th of December) she posted in Dimensions Forum , stating this:
I felt too lazy ad boring last monthes and also to fat to do new clips or pics... thats the truth. I made a picture set last week and will post it next week at southern charms... but I must say... I dont like it. I think I look ill and not as happy as before...
Last week I heard again that there is a cancer (hopefully a good one). After having a vascular one at my right leg and a second one last year at my lips... there is the third in 3 years now. Its between my nose and cheek bone. The surgery will be middle of January. I think I have to make a new weight in clip before...
so guys keep your fingers crossed for me!

Finally some news, although I must say it isn't necessary good. Her feeling like she "looks ill" is more likely the reason she hasn't updated rather than simply being "too lazy." BBW models may not care about exhibiting their cellulite and stretch marks but they are models and that means their face, especially a healthy complexion must be important to them. I hope she makes a full recovery and gets back to work. We miss you Lailani, get well.

I still don't get why people in this community need to convince themselves that being overweight/obese is medically sound and has "little or nothing" to do with any other ailments. Dude, recovering from her illness and doing a video have nothing to do with each other. If smashing her video camera to pieces and taking down her C4S -site would make her well again I would gladly join the parade of white knights. But the truth is, they aren't linked.
Making videos is what webmodels do. Sure, Lailani probably has a day job, she is not a full-time webmodel, but that doesn't matter. If a brilliant journalist found out she might have cancer, you wouldn't scold me for saying: "I hope she can still keep writing despite her illness." How do you know she's unable to "enjoy completely"? I realize you people are trying to be good guys here, but I can't help seeing some form of patronizing here. The lady makes the video if she wants to make it and can make it. If she does, I'm going to be happy. If not, I understand completely. But is it wrong to hope she can do it? Because if she does, I'm certain she didn't do it simple because she "had to". It's even possible that she really would like to do it!
By the way, no one is "clamoring out of entitlement" for anything. She's free to do what she pleases, end of story. And similarly we are free to hope for things - knowing fully well that whatever I may say here in this forum really has very little impact on what really goes on in her life.
If you want to voice your support and wish her well, sure, go ahead - might even make you feel like a better person.
