Does anyone have a clue or trick on how to retrieve the shard located in Lady Shayna's Valley?

Hello: I am stuck in a particularly head scratching spot. There is a shard that is indicated to be located in the Hinterlands Lady Shayna's Valley. It is indicated to located within and/or on top of the spirals located in the middle of the valley. Does anyone have a clue or trick on how to retrieve the shard located in Lady Shayna's Valley? It is the last of the 22 for the Hinterlands that I need. Thanks, Wacko
I got up there from the right side (looking from the skull) starter there and went to the left as I went up

Yeah! Through repeated attempts, I was finally able to get the shard. :-)
You have to climb the rocks to get to it. It's not easy but you have to keep looking for like steps in the rock columns. Once you find them it's not hard. I think they're on the backside of the "tower".

dragon age inquisition can i collect the shards lady shayna's valley without fighting the fereldan frostback dragon?

I just want to collect the shards in the area. Is there a way to collect them without fight her?
Yes! I always get them early in Act 1. To do that, enter the area to trigger the dragon flying around, but then hide slightly in the little cave where you enter. Make sure the dragon keeps flying around trying to firebomb you until it stops and flies back to its nest area. When you can enter the area without seeing the dragon flying around, you can proceed for the shards. The main threat then will be the level 12 smaller enemies.

By keeping to the left on the hill as you enter, you can reach the shard skull safely to get the shards on the map. The next issue is either avoiding or killing the smaller enemies. I can avoid the enemies for 3 of the 4 shards by sticking to the edges of the map and making a run for it. But one shard is located on the top of stone pillars in the middle, and it’s easy to fall off trying to platform jump to it. That’s when the smaller enemies aggro over and their spit can reach you. The easiest way to deal with them at a low level is with Jar of Bees, especially if you have a couple of upgrades on Bees done at Haven (buy Blood Lotus in the Hinterlands to do the upgrades).

Search for any shards scattered around the Hinterlands .
Obtained by interacting with any of the five oculara in the region.

Can someone for the love of god tell me where I can find this place? It's the last location I've yet to discover in the hinterlands, but no one on the internet will show you how to get there.
The dragon one? It's in the upper right corner of the map I walked there from the crossroad.

Thank you very much! I'm 40 hours into the game, and I have no idea how I managed to overlook that area.
