The game will focus on corrupting your female employees as you build your pharmaceutical empire. The game will feature procedural generated girls, a detailed clothing and outfit system, and a complex sex system. I loved the first game and definitely wanted more but every time I play LR2 I just find it’s a disappointing management slog with almost no interesting story or porn. Many things about this game are tedious and/or boring. The character models are generic and uninspired. Honestly if you’re going to waste so much time do this little with Daz? Sure the models don’t look the best but to my understanding it’s much easier to do everything in it. I’d MUCH rather have at least the non random characters have specific outfit sets to match corruption levels instead of having to tediously build outfits every time. At the very least have the outfits pre generated and ready to go and make creating new ones optional. While making money isn’t all that hard researching at a speed that makes the game enjoyable requires cheats. Hiring and assigning the same 5 randomly generated characters is uninteresting. Having to fiddle with what’s being produced and what’s getting sold and the thresholds for it is always a pain in the butt.
The UI is a pain to navigate requiring extra clicks that just don’t need to exist. Transformations are just bigger tits, height, and marginally thick which is seriously lacking in the possibilities of what you COULD do with a science corruption/transformation game. It’s also buggy with some quest lines just failing or maybe that’s as far as they go? I don’t know because there’s no in game guide to remind you of what should be happening with the various story threads that do exist. The game feels like it has progressed very little in the years it has been in development. I stopped supporting Vren on Patreon a long time ago because of this. Even with the mods it doesn’t make it make it worth it. This game is so good. A little buggy at times but definitely creative and fun to play.

I love management games and serums and mind control are so fun in a game anyways so this one has it all. I think a little more story could be added but its always coming out with updates so we’ll definitely get there but that is really my only complaint. Been following this game for a while, played the first one years ago, at first I thought this was stupid and felt the game was another one of those crazy ambitious game from a dev who previously made a good game, but now they’re going full todd howard and getting way in over their heads. But surprisingly, nah. The lad actually delivered. Instead of fleshing out a story, working on an endgame, fixing previously implemented broken things that were shoe-horned in the dev decides to shove in more half-baked broken ideas and more busy work. He recently added in unbalanced economics that make the grind even longer with no benefit. A lot of potential wasted trying to turn this porn game into some weird pseudo-business simulator. Making this basically unplayable without heavy use of console commands to bypass the grind. Lab Rats 2 is one of the most mechanically engaging business management games I’ve ever played. However, you’re probably here for the sex and on that front, and the game is a bit light on content in its current form. Not to worry though: there is a vibrant modding community (Search: Lab Rats 2 Mods) that continuously delivers a bunch of quality content and QoL features, while the game’s creator continues to push the envelope on core game mechanics and balance.

This game is very much still a work in progress, but given the above points, I’m happy to be along for the ride. This is a tough review to write, because on one hand I really enjoy innovative sandbox games like this that are a big risk for developers, but on the other the difficulty curve is horribly managed and the game feels downright unplayable without cheats. In a way, the problem is that the game just puts up too many obstacles to get to the good parts. So many game systems are just tuned wrong. The energy system decreases way too quickly, both for players and the NPCs. You can’t earn money fast enough. The negative responses to events with family members are way too strict for how difficult they are to avoid.
Basically any mechanic tied to difficulty is set wrong, and some of them are WAY off. Money for example should probably be increased by a factor of 10, or at least there should be an easy mode where it’s nowhere near as taxing to manage. And the problem is that the interactions with the girls, the affection grinding, creating new syrums, managing your business and instituting new policies – all that stuff is genuinely awesome. There is a solid game buried beneath all that crap. Granted the art isn’t amazing, and the 5 or 6 intimacy poses get old pretty fast, but honestly those aren’t nearly as much of a problem as the game’s mechanical problems. Motor Town Behind The Wheel

I wish that the lack of content were the only thing wrong with this game, but as it is now I can’t recommend playing this at all without a list of console commands. I was going to give 4 stars to this game based on the fact that I don’t think the sex scenes are up there with the best games. Having said that, this game is great for another reason. It lets you do your thing and explore it however you like once you get to understand how it works. Info: Lab Rats follows the story of you, the main character, during a summer term working in a small biology lab as a lab assistant. – Refactored random_lists.rpy file to more accurately break up contents.
– Lists of names (first, last, male) are now class variables of the Person class.
– Key characters are now defined inside world_setup_characters.rpy
– Storyline character setup code refactored to be more clear.
– Character height refactored to be more internally consistent.
– Character height now described in feet/inches inside of the character details screen.
– Possible character opinion lists (normal and sexy) are stored as class variables inside of Person.
– Updated “Classical”, “Punk”, and “Pop” opinions to include “music” so they read more clearly inside of lists.
– Functions to check/compare breast sizes are now class functions of Person.
– Added several breast comparison functions (including checks for huge/tiny breasts, getting breasts by weight, etc.)
– Updated all existing calls to those breast comparisons to comply with the new interface.
