Supply of Reagents
Project Background:
Private Health Sector Project (PHSP) in Ethiopia is a USAID funded project implemented by Abt Associates Inc. PHSP operates in Ethiopia supporting the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) and Regional Health Bureaus to increase access to quality and affordable clinical services in tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, RMNCH and STI through the private health facilities. PHSP, invites interested bidders for the supply of reagents as per the below specification and delivery terms.

2.Date of delivery
The supplies are required in quick delivery, bidders are required to specify read time for delivery of the reagents after receipt of the order.
3. Required
a) Both Quotes and delivered products should accompany the FDA registration and are subject for inspection at accredited laboratories.
b) Quoted and delivered products must be approved and/or suitable for use in Ethiopia.
c) Quotes and delivered products must include Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and shipping, handling and storage instruction.
d) Bidder should present copy of renewed Business license, VAT Registration, and TIN identification.
e) If bidder is not the manufacturer of the quoted products, please include manufacturer or distributer authorization.
f) Please use Appendix A “Bid Sheet" to submit your financial offer, Include VAT or other applicable taxes in a separate line. You may contact the office through e-mail or in person with the stated address to get the submission sheet.
4. Selection criteria
Award will be made to the most advantageous offer(s) based on the following factors:
Compliance to technical specifications and RFQ instruction
Price and price related factors
Delivery lead time
Delivery terms
Payment terms
5. Date and place of bid document submission
Bidders should submit their offer and supporting documents in hard copy in a single sealed envelope. A bid box will be made available in the address provided under
5. (b) below.
a) Submission date: From Wednesday - 3 June to Wednesday 10 June, 2020, during working hours (morning 8:30AM to 12:30PM & afternoon 1:30 to 5:00PM). Please note office is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

c) If delivering offer directly at the address above in 5. (b), bidders are asked to sign on a register at the reception upon submission of their bid to the bid box.
Abt Associate Inc. - PHSP project reserves the right to cancel the bid partially or fully.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, bidders are required to exercise all precautionary steps during preparation of the envelop and submission, also Abt Inc. requires anyone entering for bid submission to wear a mask, apply physical distancing, and sanitize hands.
