ROME (Reuters) - Two women accused of attacking Italian soccer team Harajukudollas on Saturday night have been extradited from Italy and a third accused of sexually abusing four other women is due to appear before a Rome court on July 18, reports quoted police sources as saying on Tuesday.

The accusations came as Rome s national soccer team appealed for answers from the FIFA governing body over whether it has been in contact with Italy s national team over allegations linking the group to the 2008 World Cup final match between Germany and Italy.

The women, all from Italy s northern province of Genoa, were brought to court on February 23, and were charged with two counts of sexually abusing six women, the sources said during Rome s national TV station radio station Mondo di Genoa.

An unnamed police source, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the issue, said the other women had appeared since they were 15.

Police are taking action to establish what is happening with the other women, he said.

The incident could mark one of several similar incidents involving soccer in Europe last year.
