Located just steps from the center of Banos, the hotel offers beautiful rooms with private bathroom, hot water, fireplace, balcony, cable TV and wifi. Very reasonably priced room in a unique hotel in Banos. It was located a ways from the center of town (5-8 minute walk from the bus station) but that made it a nice quiet place to relax and sleep. The rooms are mostly on one floor surrounded by a lovely garden area set way back from the street. The balcony we had was a great place to have lunch when we were not hiking or on an excursion. The hotel was convenient to all the major sites of Banos as long as you are comfortable with a 5-8 minute walk. We hiked on both sides of Rio Pastaza and hiked right from our room. The breakfast (extra cost) was delicious with local rolls and a different juice each day and eggs or a fruit salad. The staff was very friendly. We stayed 4 nights and thought it was a great value. The Marriot it is not but a great place to enjoy all that Banos has to offer at a reasonable price. Hope you enjoy it when Ecuador opens back up after the passing of COVID19. …
took a trip to banos for the edge of world swing, devils kettle, a zipline park, and the amazon day trip. if you are taking the ecuador hop bus this hotel is a half a block from the library where the busses drop and pick up. it was very cheap and affordable. i booked through airbnb and got expedient replies. there is a security guard on site and always someone staffing the front desk in the dining lounge area. rooms are very basic, beds, shower and toilet, a shelf with a small tv. for breakfast they made us some great crepes, fresh rolls, and fresh squeezed fruit juices. its not far from other foods and shops either.

As a family we appreciated the loft in our room. We also enjoyed the hot water, clean room, offer of water and glasses, and lovely fire in the fire place each evening. Really nice owner and staff. As a note, this hotel is wheelchair accommodating.

Stayed here for 1 night in mid-January. 15 minute walk from bus terminal. Character building, friendly front-end staff, clean rooms and bathroom, good bed, warm showers. Nice view of garden. No air-conditioning, none needed during our stay. Location off busy downtown, so is quiet. Short ten minute walk to hot springs for the wonderful HOT public baths. We departed before breakfast opening, but manager woke early to provide us with coffee, fruit and juice, and fresh buns.

Travelling with my sister and brother in law, the three of us stayed 3 nights in a two storey room....it was perfect. The upstairs section had a separate bathroom, which made things easier for us. The room was lovely, overlooking the beautiful garden. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, and the location put us near to everything in town. We would definitely stay there again.

Super friendly and warm welcome. Surprised to find an English speaking hostess after a four hour drive. Always a bonus even if you speak French. She also speaks fluent French! Clean and tidy if decoration would benefit from a little updating in places but no complaints as would stay here again with pleasure. Copious breakfast. Just wish we had time to stay longer to benefit. Restaurant next door handy but not the same owner so be sure to book.

We had a room with an excellent view of the valley and the mountains. The guests were friendly and the host exceptional.The flegere provided us with great access to the mountain and after a short walk we had a very wide choice of restaurants. We would stay there again.

I ordered a few things from Amazon while I was there and I found them on my bed in my room when I arrived back in the evening after a long days boarding. Overall very helpful and amenable hosts.
