Our second visit was so different from our first. Mostly the same great team and cleanliness BUT the resort rooms are starting to look jaded. Our mattress was so uncomfortable and there were a few broken tiles in the bathroom. Great shower though. There was a "new" girl behind the bar, mainly in the afternoons and we felt it was like, "oh do I have to serve you" and if she smiled more than twice whilst we were there, we didn't see it. Having said that, the food was mostly good and the prices reasonable. Not sure if it was the crowd of mainly Brits that were there, but the 17.00 Happy Hour was no where near the fun it was last year, far too early in the day for the ladies wishing to dress up to feel okay doing this in full sunlight. Where nice place. Clean nice bungalow. Powerful air con. Friendly staff. Not enough sunbeds. But will go back again. Amazing.atmosfer like at home. Twice per day happy hour. Small shop if you need something lots of fun.

our first time at la mirage we loved it and so clean and friendly. everyone made us welcome and the fun was had in the daytime as well as the night time. loved going into town by taxi £5 and visiting a few clubs and making new friends along the way.

Never been before but have heard good things about the place and found it to be totally true. Only had three days and we loved every minute. The complex is spotless, staff always helpful nothing too much trouble, the playrooms again spotless and they did get used all the time. An eclectic group of people from all over Europe which was great no little clics but genuine people there to have a good time. Will certainly return

We went to la mirage to have some fun and enjoy others company. Well this place is heaven and surely lives up to its name we will be back great place to come if you want to relax and have some fun in the sun.

I stayed with my boyfriend earlier this spring. It was my first time in the Canary Islands. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly like a return visit. It matches the other reviews by being spotless and well managed. Our villa was quite central and almost opposite the playroom and naked lady statue. We ate several times at the bar where there is a good range of meals and drinks. We were able to get some groceries at the little shop or walked to the larger shopping centre - about 10 minutes walk. The Maspalomas dunes are also within walking distance but it is a long walk - however we used to stop off on the way back at a good Chinese restaurant just across the street from the golf course. La Mirage was recommended to us by people we had met at the now defunct Spice. On arrival we were given the choice of two rooms, but left it to the receptionist to choose for us. Ours (no 123) was at the rear, near the larger hot top and smaller play room. Rooms are clean and roomy enough. Nice walk in shower. Kitchen is adequate for basic self catering. The only minor issue we had was unless food was either in the fridge or sealed in a "zippy" bag, very small ants seemed to find their way into the packaging. We didn't complain as there would be little the team could do, as the rooms were kept exceptionally clean. Air Con and a Safe are included in the room price. My partner and I visited for a week in Jan 17 for our 1st time at this resort. The complex was well placed in terms of location plus the complex was spotlessly clean. The bungalows have basic cooking facilities but have great other facilities. Nightlife was non existent as everyone went out in the evenings. Not much swinging went on during the day, a lot of couples knew each other and kept to themselves. Great place to relax and get an all over tan :-)

well run very clean , we run private villa for naturist plus swingers on the costa del sol casapatrica so it was good to go to new place , when we where there it was mostly German couples ,you do have to go out for dinner the food at the bar is only basic there a small shop on site to get all you need for day time ,to get good WIFI you have to pay 20e for 7 days there is free one but it only works in the bar

Room tip: Rooms around the pool are best but can be noisy. Rooms at the back of the complex are quieter and are more sheltered from the wind and have a veranda which acts as a suntrap

We try to go at least once a year, twice if time permits. The resort is simply superb, the rooms really clean and the staff welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort to all like-minded couples who enjoy a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a bit of fun thrown in!! It would be nice if the pool was heated in the cooler months but the quality of the facilities compensate. The two large heated jacuzzis are great to meet others and to play.
we went to La Mirage for a week early March 2013. we have been to Gran Can a number of times mainly to Magnolias natura, we thought we'd try La Mirage after its move to the new site and as we wanted to be a bit adventurous. collection from airport and reception greeting were excellent and efficient. the pool bar is very dissapointing, limited hours, and limited menu ( anything that can be thrown in a deep fat fryer) or salad. the bar hours are also quite limited for a complex that they want you to mix mingle and..... my personal opinion is they're not doing themselves any favours in this aspect. The rooms are modern fresh and spotless the cleaning staff do a very good job. however there are connecting doors which must be paper thin as we heard everything - EVERYTHING that happened next door, at all hours, morning noon and late at night the clientele are mostly swingers that find naturism convenient between "encounters" dont be fooled that this is a naturist resort with a bit of play opportunity! because the bar hours are limited people buy and bring their own alcohol - copious amounts of it and seem to start drinking and hooking up from about 1030 AM. whilst the jacuzzi's and pool are kept clean each morning there are numerous "encounters" that go on there which are more often than not very vocal and rowdy, pity anyone who has a room either side. this is a legitimised 18-30 holiday resort for the older generation booze and sex are the order of the day. if thats your cup of tea then you will love it. if you are a bit more inclined to a desire to get to know the people ( and or their names) you are going to rut with then maybe not! wifi is only available in the area close to reception and just about at the pool bar, i doubt any rooms have reach of the signal. in this day and a
Just back from 2 weeks in the bigger and better la mirage. The bungalows are much the same as the previous complex, hygiene is excellent - the cleaning staff work really hard. A number of small criticisms - the larger jacuzzi is not ideally placed, it is almost all in the shade and if the weather is windy can be quite cold; the bar is also not ideally located, again many of the tables are in the shade and can get quite chilly if sitting there for too long. The complex was very quiet at night - not much with regard to entertainment in the bar. On one afternoons we had a tapas event and on valentines day there was music/singer entertainment. One new addition is the mini market on site - a little more expensive than the local supermarket but very handy if you run out of something for breakfast. Just to let you know there is a new swingers bar in la cita called Miauo - great place to meet or just have a drink. Its in the basement opposite fun4all. We will definately be back.
Stayed for a few days in January 2013 and the new location is a big improvement and an easier walk to the nudist beaches at Maspolomas. Better bar and food, more sunbeds and sunshades, great pool area, new playrooms, and excellent service all seems to encourage hot action all day. Our room was spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful. Well worth a visit and we will return again this year. The pool still seems to be unheated, but the sun shone throughout our stay, so it wasn't a big problem. It would be good if some type of heating (solar?) was installed, but don't let that stop you visiting - everything else is terrific. Worth noting that the price is pretty fair value and not being 'All Inclusive' like Spice it allows much better flexibility. There are several new bars and clubs in Playa (mostly in the Cita Centre) which cater for the fun loving type of people that are likely to be La Mirage guests.
