Notes:

  • Beta version, report bugs and crashes to @skrimix in @FFAHelp chat
  • You can click on a running task to cancel download or dismiss finished task
  • You can drag and drop APK files, downloaded game files and backups
  • Double-click on a game to open details. Details can include game thumbnail, trailer, store rating and description (whatever is available)

Supported platforms:

  • macOS High Sierra 10.13 and higher
  • Linux (X11 or Xwayland, x64 or arm64, Debian 9 (Stretch) and higher, Ubuntu 16.04 and higher, Fedora 30 and higher, Arch Linux, and maybe others)
  • Windows 8 and higher (Note: Loader works correctly on Windows 7 also, but not supported officially)

Troubleshooting:

Linux

  • If you get a crash with message Unhandled exception. System.InvalidOperationException: Default font family name can't be null or empty. you need to install Microsoft fonts. On Arch distros the simplest way is to install ttf-ms-fonts from AUR and run fc-cache --force. To find instructions for other distros use your preferred search engine.
  • If you get Failed to initialize video player notification when opening game details you need to install VLC player, libx11-dev and libvlc-dev packages (on Arch it's libx11 from extra repository, and libvlc from AUR).

Mac

  • Crash with message Unhandled exception. System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load shared library 'libAvaloniaNative' or one of its dependencies. The cause of this issue is unknown, rebooting your Mac and/or reinstalling Loader should help.
  • Crash with message dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _syslog$DARWIN_EXTSN. Most likely your macOS version is too old, Loader supports only versions High Sierra 10.13 and higher.
