0. Install VLC player if you're going to be adding gameplay trailers. You may also need to install libx11-dev
and libvlc-dev

2. In Terminal run these commands (replace <path_to_unpacked_osx-x64> with your actual path):
cd <path_to_unpacked_osx-x64> xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine .
3. Run Loader with double click
To install gameplay trailers:
Download TrailersAddon.zip and move it into Loader's folder. Loader will automatically unpack it on next launch
Uninstall:
Delete Loader's folder
Notes:
- Beta version, report bugs and crashes to @skrimix in @FFAHelp chat
- You can click on a running task to cancel download or dismiss finished task
- You can drag and drop APK files, downloaded game files and backups
- Double-click on a game to open details. Details can include game thumbnail, trailer, store rating and description (whatever is available)
Supported platforms:
- macOS High Sierra 10.13 and higher
- Linux (X11 or Xwayland, x64 or arm64, Debian 9 (Stretch) and higher, Ubuntu 16.04 and higher, Fedora 30 and higher, Arch Linux, and maybe others)
- Windows 8 and higher (Note: Loader works correctly on Windows 7 also, but not supported officially)
Troubleshooting:
Linux
- If you get a crash with message
Unhandled exception. System.InvalidOperationException: Default font family name can't be null or empty.
you need to install Microsoft fonts. On Arch distros the simplest way is to installttf-ms-fonts
from AUR and runfc-cache --force
. To find instructions for other distros use your preferred search engine. - If you get
Failed to initialize video player
notification when opening game details you need to install VLC player,libx11-dev
andlibvlc-dev
packages (on Arch it'slibx11
from extra repository, andlibvlc
from AUR).
Mac
- Crash with message
Unhandled exception. System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load shared library 'libAvaloniaNative' or one of its dependencies.
The cause of this issue is unknown, rebooting your Mac and/or reinstalling Loader should help. - Crash with message
dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _syslog$DARWIN_EXTSN.
Most likely your macOS version is too old, Loader supports only versions High Sierra 10.13 and higher.
