LLM Researcher

What to expect

As a member of the Palta ML research team, you will be responsible for the applied research on how to make use of large language models in health and fitness domain to improve user experience and increase product value for millions of users of Palta products such as Flo, Simple, Zing, and others. A part of your time will be used to find the best possible way for LLMs to solve pre-defined tasks, whereas in the remaining time you will create your experimentation roadmap and lead your own research using abundant resources and datasets of Palta ecosystem.

What you’ll do

- Setup and train LLMs (Mistral, Llama 2, Falcon, etc.) and other state-of-the-art neural networks

- Setup model evaluation framework

- Help define operational infrastructure to train, evaluate and run large models on cloud platforms

- Define requirements for datasets to be prepared by our teams of experts

- Participate in the design of the feedback system on user data

- Lead own applied research: choose directions and tasks to maximize LLM impact

- Constantly monitor SoTA solutions in NLP

Minimum qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in NLP

- Experience of setting up and training LLMs (1B+ params)

Bonus qualifications

- Publications, open source projects or achievements on Kaggle

- Experience with reinforcement learning

- Experience with multimodal models

- Master degree in STEM field
