I am Sasha, CEO @ Itini, we are looking for an awesome full-time lead developer to work remote!
Who we are:
• Itini is an AI driven personal travel designer and concierge. We are changing the world one trip at a time. Our start-up is months before seed round gearing up for first launch.
• The team currently consists of 8 people from Israel, Europe and Asia located in Israel, Thailand, Indonesia and the USA.
• Our tech stack consists mostly of Java backend (Spring, MongoDB, Neo4J), with lots of smart algorithms, and a mobile app implemented in Flutter and GraphQL.
• Our microservices run on Kubernetes in Google cloud, the code is in GitHub (not open source), the CI/CD runs on Codefresh and Bitrise in the cloud, the devops stack is: GCP+Kubernetes+Dockers, nginx/Kong, Keycloak, Zipkin, Sentry, Appsflyer, planned addition of ELK or alternative stack, planned addition of Spark/Hadoop or alternatives.
What you will do:
• You’ll get your hands on lots of algorithms and even more AI/ML in the future!
• You’ll work on a service that will be more popular than most of the travel apps out there (yeah, you know the names).
• We are a very small company hence your impact and contribution will be enormous from day 1; moreover: joining now will skyrocket your career and put you in control of it.
• We pay market rate salary (2500-3000 USD, based on the level of competence, shown at the personal interviews) + performance based bonus and equity package (up to 8000 USD in total).
Who you are:
• 3+ years of Java development experience, specifically with the backend technologies listed above.
• Experience with Dockers deployment. Kubernetes and GCP experience preferred.
• Passion for customer success and experience delighting users with great UX/UI.
• Good spoken and written English. We are an internationally distributed company and great communication is important.
• All-around player - we are a small startup and everyone is in charge of almost everything.
• Fast learner - there’s a lot happening here already: smart algos, distributed microservices and a cross-platform mobile app.
• Problem solver - we still have a lot to learn and design as a company and need a contributor to this process instead of just an instruction follower.
