If you happened to be walking your dog near Helford on the Lizard peninsula on August 12, 2012, you may well have got the shock of your life.
For frolicking in a Cornish field on that very day in a sheer white dress was none other than sexy pint-size pop superstar Kylie Minogue.
And if you were particularly lucky you may have wandered around a corner near Frenchman’s Creek to discover the naughty little Australian lying on a chair with just a sheet draped over her lower half to spare her blushes from prying Cornish eyes.
It’s the sort of image you can’t get out of your head.
So why on Earth was Ms Minogue getting all racy in a quiet spot in Kernow?
It was all in the name of art. Kylie was filming the video for the single Flower from her album, The Abbey Road Sessions and, what’s more, she directed the Cornwall-starring film herself.
She said at the time: “I wanted to direct the video as I have always known how I wanted to illustrate the song.”

As well as lying topless on a chair and spinning around in a field, Kylie can be seen walking along a tree trunk, playing on a swing, prostrate in a meadow of flowers and wearing a white dress in a pool – all the sort of things you do when visiting Cornwall.
The Daily Mail reviewed the video: “Kylie Minogue may be 44 years old, but she's proved that she can still compete in the steamy video stakes with her younger pop star rivals." Exactly what you’d expect The Daily Mail to write.
The song is actually a mature ballad, which many believe is in honour of the child the singer has never had.
The video has had almost 3 million views on YouTube.
