The Kentucky Applied Behavior Analysis Licensing Board administers and enforces statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession as an applied behavior analyst. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 319C.010 to 319C.990.

Never again. Staff in office was mainly indifferent to our issues with the very loud music from the bar next door until 2 AM. Our air conditioner leaked water on the floor and their solution was a metal bucket. Rooms are old as are bed and TV if you can figure out how to work the TV... WiFi is mostly useless . We would never recommend this to anyone.
This is the place for you if you want to be steps from the beach with great food in an authentic tropical setting. You can't get more real than this! Loved our room #25. I would happily return and try a cabin next time!

Kuyaba is a gem of a restaurant located in the main beach area. Our service was impeccable. Our server was as professional as can be. The food was seasoned properly and it was delivered as described on the menu. The homemade dinner rolls were just like grandma would make. We all had either a shrimp canoe with a mango salsa and fluffy white rice or lobster thermadore as ain courses. The appetizer selection was plentiful several of us has shrimp wrapped in bacon or salads.The jerk chicken on a stick was also a delicious appetizer. We were too stuffed for dessert and had to go back to pack as it was our last night.

They sell crayfish like a JAMBO RED PEPPER SHRIMP and crayfish soup as shrimp soup! That is misleading of customer and illegal due to the law… also they anise animals. And it’s terrible cos they hold them in the cages all the time on the heat outside and never let them out. I would never suppose animal abuse scam in the menu.

The food was amazing. Bacon wrapped shrimp and crab wontons for appetizers, followed by chicken curry and seafood linguine! Maybe it’s the pandemic, however, the service was very slow. We were at the restaurant for over 2 hours and waited for over an hour just to receive our appetizers. Not complaining, just be aware if you’re considering a visit.

I have been going to Kuyaba for several years. As you may see from a previous review I submitted. I have introduced many family and friends to this, one time, gem. The property was clean, the staff friendly and the location could not be beat. However, my last stay was nothing short of a nightmare. The night we arrived we settled into our room, exhausted from our travel day. Not long after unpacking we discovered the room was INFESTED with cockroaches. During previous stays, I have never seen as much as an ant. This was horrifying. The size of some of them were like small rodents. Because there was a skeleton crew staffing the place, the night guard was the only one I could find. He borrowed a can of bug spray from another guest (indications of a bigger issue than I initially thought) and sprayed our room. The office was closed so we could not move our room until the next day. As exhausted as I was, I got no sleep that night. The next morning my daughter said she had the same issue in her room. We moved rooms and I bought my own but spray and sprayed daily. We continued to see dead roaches on the floor each morning. Other family members joined us a day later and had the same issue. They complained to the office and were put in touch with whom we were told is the owner and he just blew it off. I’ve been told from some staff that the original owner has passed away and his children are not interested in maintaining the property. The morale of the staff is very low. It saddens me to say but this was the last time I will stay there. The entire week felt so stressful and wasn’t the experience I looked forward to for so many years. I hope they wake up and get their act together but for me it is too late. …

Steer well clear of this place! I dont like submitting this review, I dont complain, but travellers need to know. this is a zero star place who took pride ripping us off. My partner and I have been enjoying Kuyaba hospitality for 10+ years. But whether related to covid or not the place has gone downhill. Room conditions , room ventilation were bad and the room smell was so disgusting we had to check out because it triggered an allergic reaction. The deposit they had demanded was 8(!!!) days, repeat 8 days. I guess they knew what they were doing. Collect deposit and resell the room when guests check out early in disgust. We offered to split the unutilised deposit 50:50, they refused, they dont care about bad reviews.
Room Tip: If you want a good room go somewhere else like Skylark along the beach.
I have stayed at Kuyaba before and have no issue with the property. My low rating is due to another reservation I made for April. Due to Covid the trip was canceled. I canceled back in mid March, and still waiting for refund. I understand they were closed due to Covid, and was patient when they said they were working on the refunds, and that we would be top on the list since they were working on those that were canceled in March. Last I heard from them was in September, and nothing since. They will not answer repeated emails. It’s been 11 months! Yet they are open and taking reservations.

We had a party of 11 at the last minute for dinner. Because of Covid we were the only ones staying at the resort and they accomodated our party with exceptional food and service. Tenisa and Amanda did a outstanding job and were there to help and assist. We were treated very well and I cannot wait to come back and stay there. Our housekeepers were also very good and did an excellent job every day.
I have been staying at Kuyaba every year for the past several years. During this period I have introduced several family members and friends, who have all became regulars. Every year when I arrive, the staff remembers me and greets me like family. Their aim is to please and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The ambience and location are perfectly suited for those who need to rest and decompress. Although I would agree that service at the restaurant can be slow at times, the food is very good and the ambience is unbeatable. For beachside dining like this at home or on many other islands, one would have to make reservations far in advance. This is a come as you are experience, which is how vacation should be. I would also attribute the occasional slow service to the fact that this restaurant is highly popular with visitors from many other hotels because it so lovely. At times this may overwhelm the kitchen. I don't understand the intolerance when relaxing seaside with a cocktail while waiting for your meal is not such a bad thing. I would, furthermore, like to point out how dismayed I am to read some of the negative reviews as, from my experience, I find them baseless. Every year I email the hotel directly to book by reservation because the website clearly states to do so. I have never had an issue and the hotel has always responded with a very clear confirmation letter outlining my dates, room type, deposit, balance, etc. As I do not like to forward my credit card details through email, they are always accommodating and call me for the details so that I do not have to make an international call. I would say that it would be more convenient if the booking calendar on the website worked so that we could perform these functions online but it is clear that we are to contact the hotel. This is another example of the personal service they are willing to put forth. …
