Qua?

I sit and wait, but I’m not really sure what I’m waiting for. In about 10 minutes there’s a march about 40 miles away from me. I’d drive there, find parking during a time when public services are being eroded, and be a part of a nonviolent protest in support of BLACK Lives, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and others. 

James Byrd Jr.’s death was one appalling case in Texas back in 1998, just as I had graduated high school. In short, 3 white supremacists, one an acquaintance, gave James a ride. Thinking he was going home, THEY drove him out of town and proceeded to beat him, spray paint him, urinate and defecate on him, then tied him to the truck and dragged him behind it for over 3 miles, with James dying about halfway through after his right arm and head were severed by a culvert. THEY then dumped his body in a black cemetery. Like you would in ANCIENT times, pulled by a horse and chariot. Legislation was passed - the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act - but I recall last year COPS on horses tying the hands of an black man with a rope and making him walk behind the horses down a main street. He wasn’t murdered, but that act is a hate crime. That won’t happen in America anymore without someone attacking those COPS. PLEASE.

So I won’t go out and protest for Black Lives or Floyd or the others today because I have a pressing concern to preserve Earth first, and a need to see equity of resolve. But I teach anti-authoritarian paradigms, and have done so in metro and low incomes areas on both coasts, and in between at community colleges whose primary demographics include underrepresented expressions of age, race, gender and disability. I love the work, love the people, and will continue to agitate and incite within such an institution, and for my students.

But if the moment arrives when we want to transcend race, truly, and not just nonviolently protest for changing legislation, I will be there. It appeared as if there was a moment, but that was incited by the out-of-fashion ANTIFA-KKK battle, faked by law enforcement and their sympathizers. But the intent of attacking stations, media outlets, and big box corporations was the correct move. Attacking COPS comes with the territory, as we see they are built for it, and in fact incite it 7 out of 10 times. Media is the messenger, the deceiver, and yes, we must KILL THE MESSENGER for being so fucking passive. And of course, corporations. They are the ENSLAVERS, they are mostly-owned by European and Caucasian Americans, and without them, people would start their own businesses or improve small and local business culture. There must be a limit to the amount of franchising allowed and megastores that can be opened, just as there must be the same limits for firearms, single-use plastics, WHITE presidents, and all those imbecilic, questionably-retarded outcomes based on the “freedoms” we fight for. Not affirmative action, just STOP. US. YOU. WE. STOP! PLEASE.

That’s why I sit here and compose instead of using more fossil fuels, potentially-spreading viruses, producing inorganic waste, and inspiring more to join in the consumption of modern activism. First TRUMP fools you into buying excess food, medical and cleaning supplies, then he fools you into fighting the State in the streets, exacerbating the same problems while revoking legislation for protections of nonhuman species and preserved lands in exchange for fossil fuel and natural gas exploration. Instead of glorifying Musk and NASA for escaping earth with nothing to show for it, while burning thousands of tons of fuel, why didn’t we protest that nonsense? Why didn’t we protest Bezos making $7 billion during coronavirus paranoia and death? Why did we just let Zuckerberg give TRUMP free reign to incite non-discriminatory violence?

Because you are all obsessed with MONEY. I drew a stalker yesterday whose eyes were vortical and screened, but should have reflected nothing but green...
