Qua?
ahFading through several arrays, I find the merit to compose. Before getting to this point, I traversed through personal irritations like pet peeves, social media condescension, revolutionary conflict, and self-aggrandizing shrinkage.
There are a few problems with Millennials right now. The first is they don’t have reservation or modesty. They have very little subtle approach. It happened with the 4th wave of feminism and oversexualization, and now it happens with another “movement” where these babies are still trying to collect their thoughts. I believe it’s finally getting to anti-capitalism, but I also believe they can’t live without it, being manifested and embodied within it. I would really ask them -- how aware can you be of a state you create? Being woke is their designation for what it means to be conscious in their time, yet they are failing to unite the overarching and dominate theme since the late 1800’s.
It’s like fighting the cops you need on your side.
If America has to go through a racial and sexual battle again just to benefit economically or to change its cultural patterns, at least tell us. Or don’t, because we know. What I see are race/ethnicity, sex/gender, socioeconomic, and environmental schisms. I spoke of schisms during the pandemic, and they were obvious, but the dictation of the aftermath of the unexpected duration of SARS-CoV-2 and BLM has opened a brief moment for deep and poignant dialogue, although with some problems.
Sorry, I can’t speak about race, ethnicity, sex or gender in a social or public forum anymore, or without another amongst me. It echoes into hollow appreciation with zero accountability. Race has been defined, as has ethnicity. One emerges from the other as a collection of nature and craft. Sex has been defined, as has gender, and other than my reproductive ability, nothing else about it matters beyond the personal and intimate.
Let’s start there. There are four distances and spaces within which to frame thinking: intimate, personal, social and public. Most of us are social and public who are reading this. And most of my rhetoric comes from social and public ideologies, but I use only personal and intimate in my expression when possible. Intimate is the deepest you can go with any single person. Personal is knowing to comfortable and trusting levels. Social is not you or them, it is an identity and performance on behalf of both. Public is to no one, addressed in general and at haste as an announcement and without any serious regards for the three prior distances.
The Millennials are using social and public platforms to the T, correctly and with merit. But they stop at social, at burning things and destroying objects. The personal messages usually regard death, and anything other than that doesn’t reflect a willingness to listen. Albeit, they’ll selectively listen and immediately contradict (like a person who supports anti-capitalism but posts on Travis Scott or Kanye West). This is why I ask, what are we all awake about? The use of your term is just a failure. There is no integrating “aks” or woke into what those before fought so long for. Serious. We all asked for more, and all woke up when it was necessary.
But are you going to stop? Some of us have waited for you for a long time.
Let me move on to something of more merit than those discussing current issues or pop cultural frames in the war for American economics. Let me tell you a little about the passions of Novatore. Last night I was rereading some of my favorite texts, reminders of the truest path that lay ahead, one unbeknownst to prognostication. Novatore screamed at the top of his lungs for individual anarchy and libertarian communism. One I understand better than the other, the other I feel is the only means to compromise and reach some ideological utopia the good and light seem to seek and war for. But Renzo Novatore was nothing but an ideologue with a vision for himself and the simplest life that could be found in the one that is. While his words resonated the same calls to action against the same archetypes, his fervent emotional articulation and resonate narratives placed me into the anarchist fantasies I had when young.
So I itched to go back to my Forms, my Mission Semiotics, the path I laid to get to this rather less, simple and silent existenz you see before you, and don’t.
Consider what we all have to go through, what you currently are complaining about, and the history that has been told. Yes, take down the monuments, remove their names, and let America go back to where it was before they came here. Let no person place their label or themselves on anything. Let the thing sell itself.
I tried to listen to Conmijente have a discussion with Naomi Klein and Edward Snowden. Some dude from Vice was there. And I signed up for it but couldn’t even access it through those means, I had to use Youtube. But I almost didn’t make it through the intro, as the moderator used the platform to say little. Then Klein spoke, but she was talking to a new generation, to people who didn’t have a No Logo conceptualization possible to them, as it was from a time before. She was trying to explain a Shock Doctrine, but most already know how it works. I didn’t make it to Snowden. I barely listened to Klein because “Naomi Klein”, “Edward Snowden”, and misadvertising already revealed their economics agendas.
Someone will have to fill the voids left by this last generation. These ones aren’t it.
Can you imagine Kanye West, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and those types of persons as the political leaders of our country? I can’t. MONEY HUNGRY FUCKING NOIDS! Even Bezos looks like that Domino’s motherfucker. And Kanye is as unstable as Trump -- we see what a little pressure does -- and will outburst the same. There is no correct or polite articulation for this future of America. If the young voters cannot use their woke four-year logic to elect Joe Biden as the mildly better alternative to TRUMP, then vote in someone good at what they do later (for all you know, Biden accepts an awesome VP who takes over for him when he dies at the inauguration), and who are not SUPREME POWER LORDS and SEXUAL PREDATORS. I won’t list anyone, and won’t vote, but I have one favorite in the future and others who are anyone better than these two peters. And while I’m at it, FUCK YOU JARED KUSHNER. And Ivanka or Baron. I don’t care which.
The reason for my intense tone has to do with one of the groups I follow on Twitter retweeting something from someone who claims the Millennials are ending capitalism. If anything, Gen X and their microtechnologies, then the early Millennials (Gen Y) who grew through 3rd wave feminism (thank goddess) and post-9/11, and offer the ride for the Binaries or Zoomers or whomever takes lead as the defining voice of a generation in need of true DISSOLUTION of CAPITALISM for FREE. The Millennials never had it from the start. They grew up in a privatized illusion of self and can’t break free. They can only keep posting themselves doing things that don’t matter to the essential problem at hand.
Who are you fighting? I still ask the same questions 33 days later.
