Filters, such as Low-Pass Filter (LPF) and High-Pass Filters (HPF), are often used in the design and analysis of many electronic circuits. This paper presents an analysis of a band-pass filter using the concept of frequency-dependent phase shift. In order to analyze the phase-shift behavior of the filter, the frequency response of the circuit is calculated by means of the Fourier series expansion. The frequency response is also analyzed by using a phase-shifting technique.
Частотно-избирательный фильтр – это устройство для формирования и усиления сигналов с определенными частотами. Он предназначен для подавления сигналов, имеющих другие частоты. Эти фильтры широко используются в радиотехнике, связи, телевидении и акустике. При построении частотно-излучательных фильтров необходимо учитывать возможность резонанса. Это требует тщательной настройки фильтров для получения необходимых характеристик.
Filtering is a process in which an input signal is passed through a filter to produce an output signal with a reduced number of frequencies. It is also called down-sampling. A filter is a mathematical function that produces a filtered output given an input. The filter may be a simple, discrete-time filter or a continuous-time low pass filter.

In mathematics, a filter is a function that has a domain and range, but is defined only on a subset of this domain or range. It is called a linear filter because it can be represented as a matrix.
