Kuroinu Chapter 1 is a hardcore hentai game that has captured many people’s attention. Of course, the subject matter of a game like this makes it a very niche kind of game, but today we are taking a closer look to see if there is any depth here or if it is just all about the hentai! It should go without saying that this is a game that is 100 percent for adults only and not for people who are easily offended.
As is the case with most games like this there is a story that runs alongside all of the hentai action. The basics of the story are that there is a dark elf queen who is warring with other kingdoms for hundreds of years and a group of hardcore warriors decide to stop her and bring peace to the kingdom.
This “fantasy” setting of Kuroinu Chapter 1is actually quite intriguing if I am honest, but please be warned that the actual sex in the game is nonconsensual. This can be something that sits the wrong way with people so keep that in mind. The bits of story that move once scene on from the other are as shallow as you would expect, but I must admit the actual premise of the dark elf queen I think is a good idea.
The overall design of the characters is quite well done in some places. I get the impression that the characters were designed by many different people as some look rather different. The guys are all badass looking and the ladies super sexy with hot bodies and big boobs, just what you would expect from a game like this.
There is a very smart anime look to it all and in a hentai game like this usually, it is the still images that capture your eye. However, I think the CG is actually quite well done and I do see many people being quite impressed with it.
Kuroinu Chapter 1 is best described as a hentai visual novel style game. This means that most of the gameplay is you clicking the screen to move the story along. You do not really have many choices to make either. You get to select which girl to put up for a sex auction, but that is really all there is to the gameplay. I really feel some branching paths would have made the game much more interesting for the player. Once you have seen the hardcore sex, there really is not much on offer here at all.
I have played games like Kuroinu Chapter 1 before and I find them to be a rather acquired taste. I think that rings true for this game too. Some of the ladies look very, very hot and the sex scenes are very hardcore. However, the fact they are nonconsensual may not be appealing to some folks and that is understandable. I will though, give credit for having a clever fantasy setting to base the game around.
