The best place for its price in hole country. Strongly recommended. Simone was away when I stayed so I had the place to myself. The place is exactly like the description. I would highly recommend for comfortable and good value accomodation in San Marino with an abolutely lovely hostess. She also prepared breakfast for us and gave us lifts to the bus station when we are leaving for San Marino or Rimini. The check in was smooth - Vilma picked us up at the bus stop of Dogana. The bus stop could be a little tricky so do some research before taking it. Overall this is a wonderful Airbnb experience! The view from balcony is fantastic too. Fabrizios place is awesome. Clean, central location, private, AC worked well, awesome terrace, and much more. Would definitely recommend staying here. Fabrizio is a great host who is very easy to talk to. He serves a breakfast that is full of sweets and fruits and it was overall a very relaxing stay. We stayed in the room with the rooftop terrace. The view is spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed time relaxing on the terrace after a busy day site seeing. The room was clean and comfortable. The home is very conveniently located. Fabrizio was a wonderful host. Outstanding host! More than words can describe the hospitality, caring, and attention to every detail Fabrizio provided us in every step of the way. The house is beautiful, family home and built by his grandfather and has so much love and history. Our room was upstairs and just perfect. Incredible view, private balcony, patio set to sit outside and a small garden and room had an upgraded modern bathroom. This was our first Airbnb and we were spoiled to the max. We felt like we were staying at a mansion. We only booked one night and next day was town celebration and instead of waiting for bus and tram, Fabrizio went out of the way and drove us to the Rimini bus station. Best host and best apartment ever! The view from the terrace is amazing and Fabrizio is such a lovely person. We definitely recommend to everyone to stay at his apartment! Thank you Fabrizio! Unfortunately Fabrizo was not able to meet me because he was away on business but he had his sister-in-law Enrica meet me instead. I had a bit of trouble finding the location of the house and Enrica had to come track me down in the streets! But that was due to my own fault in getting turned around. Fabrizo speaks English very well. She made sure I was all settled into the house and gave me her private phone numbers in case of emergency. In the morning, she came to the house and put together one of the most amazing breakfast spreads I have ever seen with more food than 1 person could possibly eat! The house itself is gorgeous and perfectly located. It has just been renovated recently and is decorated beautifully. It is at the top of Mount Titano in the heart of the historic district. This home is one of the oldest in San Marino and has been in the owners family for generations. Since no one was checking in the next day, I was able to leave my luggage there and even stop back in during the day a few times because it is so centrally located. Stefano came to greet me at lunch and told me a bit more about the history of the house. Overall, this was a great experience and Enrica and Stefano made me feel very welcome and a part of the community. Oh, and the views from the terrace of the Attic Room are incomparable! Absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely recommend anyone travelling to San Marino to stay here rather than at a hotel! The apartment is secure, clean, spacious and well laid out, with all modern furnishings and appliance, including air conditioning. There is free off-street parking for one car on site. The old town Centro Storico is located at the top is the mountain, and is accessed by a series of free 24 hour elevators. It is about 10 to 15 minutes walk up relatively steep roads and paths to the base of the first elevator. There is a parking station near the base of the elevator if you need it, however it is relatively expensive. Lovely flat. Like a very nice home. Hosts are communicative and very nice to be in contact with. About minutes walk uphill to the historic center. Without a car you need to plan. No shops no coffeshops close to apartment. The space was large and the king bed was fantastic. At the end of our stay the hosts let us keep our bags in the apartment while we explored a bit more and then were nice enough to drive us to the bus stop. She even took pity on us and invited us to use her washing machine! San Marino is just wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The only thing you need to take into account is that it is quite a walk uphill to get to the historic centre. But it is lovely to return downhill to a very quiet and friendly little enclave, outside the city walls. It was probably as close as we would have been able to get to the old town. Our main difficulty was finding it. The street is only one block long and even a local who tried to help us find it did not know where it was even though we were less than half a mile away. We did eventually manage to get a weak signal, initially getting a telephone company recording in Italian. Once we did make contact and found the place and got settled, things went smoothly. Very true to the pictures. Clean and smelled nice. Great coffee machine. Easy parking, about a 20 minute walk uphill to the town center. We could not get the wifi to work but we were there a short time it did not matter and The owners were very responsive I am sure it would have been fixed if we asked but we did not ask. The place was very roomy and comfortable, it is also very close to the historical center of San Marino, which is very convenient, the host only speaks Italian though, so if you know some italian it can be very helpful. The apartment is clean, comfortable and fully equipped with all we could ask for - including like an elevator and parking. Five minute walk to the cable car and the old quarters of San Marino. Not one, but TWO balconies with an absolutely stunning view of the rolling hills of San Marino countryside. We needed a garage and he called us a cheap one and also drove us back and forth! All tips from him were great and helped us a lot. The fridge was filled with all kinds of delicacies for breakfast. The apartment was the best stocked apartment we have rented with plenty of snacks and drinks. My family of four had been on a very long road trip and we thought we would make a quick day visit in San Marino. We arrived several hours earlier then we initially had planned. We ask Lorenzo if we could just park at the apartment and we would go tour down town until it was time to check in. He not only allowed us to park, but since the apartment was already cleaned and ready he allowed us to check in hours early which was extremely appreciated by me and my family after a long road trip! The local restaurant less than two minutes walk away is also very good. Perfect place for a family, close to all the amenities you need for a great visit to San Marino without all the hassle of being in San Marino. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and everyone was comfortable. The hosts are super nice and gave us ideas of places our family would enjoy in the neighboring towns. We loved the local supermarket TitanCoop. And, the building is just behind a small retail area with a bank, restaurants and gelateria. We loved dinner at the local Bistro. And, there was a washer which is perfect for a traveling family. When we had a problem, they quickly helped us resolve it. Beautiful place with great owners. Very responsive and meet you to walk through their property. Would definitely return. Modern apartment with a lot of sleeping room. Kids loved the bunk beds. Only advice with this place is to completely understand the bus timetables both the Rimini - SM connection and internal SM bus network so you can plan accordingly and really maximise your stay. Host also waited to meet our 10pm arrival, and provided bread, peanut butter, jam, milk, cereal, biscotti, many yogurt, candies, cakes, tea, coffee, sugar for our use.
