Myself, nine family members and a little dog enjoyed a lovely weekend at Cyprus Cottage. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with a gorgeous open fire. The weekend was a very cold one but the cottage was sufficiently warm. Thank you Sally! The perfect place for a large gathering. Great homely atmosphere and full of character. Had a Tesco delivery sent and all was unpacked and sorted when we arrived. Very helpful. Thank you. Sally was lovely, very welcoming. The house was in a beautiful setting, the garden is very pretty and the space is large. A wonderful hostess and a wonderful house! Sally is so welcoming; you are meeting a friend rather than just a hostess; and breakfast is a whole new experience, with fruit picked from the numerous fruit trees in the garden and home made jams. The table is laid full of goodies in the rustic big kitchen and then you only have to walk two steps to the conservatory, sit in one of the soft sofas and read the paper while the light is pouring in and the birds are singing. Well, we are going back in the first available opportunity. We had a great time in the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay. Sally set out the kitchen table for us with everything we needed and a few nice treats. The sun lounge was a perfect places to spend the afternoons in and the views and garden and tranquility all helped to make our stay a very relaxing one. Sally was the perfect host, around when we had questions or needed anything. Sally was a welcoming and wonderful host, and her family home was the perfect setting for our surprise 50th. It was a warm, comfortable space and everybody loved it. Sally is the most incredible host - thoughtful, helpful and kind. In the lead up to our stay she answered my many questions very quickly. She let us check in early and check out late and offered to be home to receive a shop for us before we arrived. And the house is perfect - great bedrooms, fantastic communal spaces, a beautiful garden. Thank you Sally x you are the perfect host x. Lovely windmill with beautiful finishing touches. Little Easter eggs, fresh bread and jam. A nice quiet retreat in a pretty little town. A unique place to stay in a lovely Suffolk coastal town. We were proud to think were staying there. The mill was spotlessly clean, with every facility, parking for our car close by, and in a garage. Very quite and private in spite of being in the middle of town, and the views from the top floor amazing. Our two night stay at the mill was really lovely. Parking was easy as my car is small enough for the garage. The mill itself is beautifully presented, very clean and cosy but with all modern fittings and appliances. An absolutely gorgeous place to stay in a fantastic location - close to lovely shops, great pubs and delicious restaurants! Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay. Thank you! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a different stay in Suffolk. Everything you need will be there. Very unique and quiet. A great nights sleep and added value of a private garage if you take a small car. Comfortable and cosy cottage in a quiet location. Very clean home and cosy bedrooms. Fire place was easy to use and lovely! Bryony was a friendly host. This was tricky for us as we had a Birthday meal planned and two little children with us - all their food required a kitchen too. It is only our first airbnb booking so I will know to read everything more carefully next time. Cute property and good value. Good communication with Bryony. The cottage was fantastic and much more spacious than we imagined it would be. Bryony and Simon were the perfect hosts and gave us some great tips of nearby places to visit as well as helping us light the amazing log fire! We will definitely be back. The house is perfectly appointed and provides all you need. Bryony is a charming host. Jo was very welcoming and helpful. The boat was great, clean, well stocked, and fantastic position on the river. Jo gave us a lovely friendly welcome as soon as we arrived and gave us clear directions on how to access to the boatyard area. We then appreciated the tour of Sea Rover and felt immediately relaxed and reassured by Jo and her lovely houseboat. Sea Rover is in a wonderful setting on the River Debden and is exactly as described. We immediately felt at home in this peaceful place. Sea Rover is very close to Woodbridge and we enjoyed walking to this wonderful Suffolk town. Best of all was our walk from Sea Rover to Sutton Hoo. Although we had mixed weather overall this weekend we were lucky enough to have lovely sunshine on Friday and Saturday and enjoyed a BBQ on Friday evening on the area next to the boat. We chilled out and the weekend was just what we needed - something different and interesting. This little gem was such a find and we really want to keep it a secret! Jo and Steve were really great hosts to pumping up bicycle tyres to returning favourite kitchen knife that I took with me - we really did not need to pack anything other than clothes as Jo has knitted the houseboat beautifully with everything you might need including coffee percolator and tea, coffee, sugar etc - the croissants and jam and butter and milk lovely touch - the area is stunning and I shall remember sitting on the back of the boat reading at 6. Woodbridge is a pretty town with loads of really great eateries - roast dinner at the Anchor is a must do book , lots of quirky shops and delicatessens as well as vintage shops and opticians - handy when my glasses broke! Very friendly river folk and local people - like England used to be before everyone started to walk around attached to their phones - anyway a wonderful stay and we will be back. We really enjoyed our stay on the Sea Rover. We had planned a local day out on one day but because the spot is so lovely and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun and watching the tide coming in we stayed put. We wandered into town for dinner in the evenings and had two good meals, one in the Anchor and one in the Crown. The boat is cosy and had everything we needed. Jo and Steve are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome whilst the space allows for privacy too. Jo was a fantastic host, very friendly and nearby should you need anything. The welcome goodies of jam , butter, croissants and of course freshly laid eggs was a real treat and a lovely surprise. The location of the accommodation is perfect. You can manage without driving whilst you stay as there is so much on offer that is walking distance away. Night time is particularly special as the sky is pitch black with only the stars for light, a perfect getaway from it all weekend. Cant wait to return!! What a cute little bolthole! Absolutely wonderful to wake up to the view from the boat and watch the changing light on the water throughout the day. We took some lovely walks along the river and into Woodbridge. Thanks Jo for accepting our very last minute booking and being available to help us get there and make the most of our short trip! What a wonderful location! A magical place even at the end of October. The boat was lovely and a perfect size for a romantic getaway. Walking along the estuary and watching the birds feed was just the right level of peacefulness we needed. Jo was really friendly and helpful-even providing an electric blanket and fresh eggs from her chickens! Woodbridge is a great town for a long weekend getaway - good coffee shops, good restaurants and some beautiful countryside. A unique and special experience. Thanks Jo! We visited some of the most wonderful places in the county all within a 30min drive, everywhere dog friendly, loved it, miss it! Sarah greeted us at the beginning and showed us around the cabin. The neighbourhood was quiet was pretty, and a short drive to the city. Sarah was quick to respond to any questions and booking. We had a very relaxing stay, which in part is due to the welcoming and cosy accommodation with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. The location is also gorgeous. To stay here was a real treat and the price at time of our booking was unbelievable for what we got to enjoy. Highly recommended!!! Everyone was friendly even the dogs and the place was very spacious but cosy and extremely well equipped. Sarah left an ample supply of food and goodies in the fridge and we had a fab relaxing time. Thanks Sarah, see you again some time. Sandy and Paul. We very much enjoyed our one night stay at the Cart Lodge. The surroundings were lovely and the accommodation itself was very clean, comfy and tastefully decorated. Sarah was very friendly and attentive and called to make sure everything was OK on arrival and gave us info on the local area and where to go food shopping. Thanks for being a great host! A light, airy and spacious room which had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Quiet location and very private. Lovely host, would definitely recommend. Very good area and a very nice house. Host is very welcoming and considerate. Well positioned location for local attractions. The property in in a quiet location with easy access to the main routes to the coast and villages and towns in Suffolk and further afield. The rooms are light and airy and the host is easy going with a constant smile. Jenny was a warm and friendly host, and the house is cosy, charming and characterful. Would gladly stay again. A very relaxing place to stay, as if you were relaxing in your own place. A lovely lady. Very down to earth. Certainly so much better than a 'brand' named lodge or hotel. The place was absolutely lovely! And Andrew was very friendly and very helpful! I will definitely come back! Lovely place and promptness from Andrew for a last minute booking for a work related visit to the county. Andrew is very sociable and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Perfect for what we needed- just over night accommodation. The corner shop, with an ATM, is only a very short walk away to pick up supplies. Basic but still had some of the comforts too, with lots of blankets and pillows. Although Drew was away, he kept in touch throughout the stay. I can imagine this is a great place to stay in the summer with space for BBQs and for children to run around, but in the winter, once the heating was adjusted, it was our warm little home in the snow. We came down for a wedding and booked last minute. The directions were good and the house was very comfy. Plenty of room to get ready for the wedding and also a good base to explore the area. We enquirer about a taxi to the venue but were offered a lift was amazingly helpful. Lovely old house, Tejas is in the process of renovating it, that being said the room was huge and very clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Tejas was a lovely host, he gave me my own key so I could come and go as I pleased. Tejas is a busy man but found time to introduce himself and a short chat. He seemed to be very polite and friendly which is a must for us. The green room which we had was spacious and very nicely furnished. The house is under some renovation but we understand will be completed very soon indeed and should look very stylish. The area is quiet enough and about a twenty minute walk to train station. No problems staying here in this part of Ipswich. Tejas and his house are amazing!! He is so nice and help you in everything, a very easy get on with person, funny and warn, you will feel like at home!!! The house is big, beautiful and very clean, everything is better than in photos: My best Airbnb! Had a good run will see you again soon. Thanks for hosting me. We decided to extend our stay for another week, Dave and Judy gave us a lot of helps, drove me go and back from Train Station, even allow us to use their address as our Temprory Billing Address, i feel so warm about them. Lovely place, lovely people! Judy went the extra mile helping with laundry! Will definitely be back!! Judy and David were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful hosts. The room, amenities etc. I dare not forget the lovely Eric and Ernie who completed my true home away from home experience. Erin and her husband are very nice person , she has a lovely apartment with a private garden and a separate bathroom, quiet and peaceful and very near to town. I quite like it. Strongly recommend. Definitely recommend. Nice and quite when you want to relax. Will be booking again. Nice people. It has all the basics you need ie hot water, heating, fridge microwave,tv and Website hidden by Airbnb also only takes about 15 minute walk to town center. Erin and her husband were also really accommodating and understanding: Je recommande vivement cette adresse. Good environment nice people and the house is situated on a great spot to move around Ipswich. Kate is the perfect host with the perfect room. Cannot emphasise how nice the room and en suite were. You wont find better for the same money or even more. Give it a try I can assure you that you wont be disappointed. Also Kate was extremely friendly and lovely chat to after a day on the road. The room was immaculate, warm and inviting. There was all the amenities you could want; ensuite, kettle, hairdryer and iron. Absolutely fantastic. Kate was very accommodating! I will definitely be back when I have my next course at the hospital! As a host she is caring ,considerate and kind. The room is fantastic, clean , comfy bed and with lovely little touches to making the experience perfect. Thank you Kate so much for a perfect stay. Till the next time! Kate is such a lovely host. The room is great, a place to relax and retreat to in the attic. Really comfy bed and peaceful vibe. A great self contained space. Convenient location and parking. Had a very relaxing stay. Kathy was a lovely host very friendly and very helpful. We loved our stay and it is in an ideal locate to explore all the hidden secrets that Suffolk has to share. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends. Helen and Jeanne. Absolutely lovely apartment! Made us feel so at home and welcome with lots of little touches such as tea bags and flowers etc. An absolute bargain, clean and spacious and if ever in Ipswich again would book without hesitation. Had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ipswich for a few days or a week. It has everything you need and make me feel at home. A perfect place to stay for biz trip or for traveling. Highly recommended!! Kitchen was small, but well equipped for simple cooking, and the bathroom was modern and clean though a little cold in winter. Location is close to bustops, and a supermarket. Kathy was a lovely host. Great choice for a stay! This place was perfect for the simple short, sport related stay we did. Facilities meant could be completely self contained. Lovely Man and great space, I recommend this place for anyone needing a base in Ipswich. Quiet area with ample free on road parking. Use of kitchen for food or local fair priced chippy or Chinese 5 minutes walk. I put the heating on and turned it off after an hour it was warm and cosy. Yousef is a great host Yousef is very hospitable and welcoming. The room was clean and large when I stayed there. He even left out some snacks for me. Would recommend! Yousef is amazing!! Yousef was a friendly and helpful host, e. The hosts were very polite and quick to answer any questions. Great price too! I booked this place few times and also love to see their happy faces. I recommend this place to everyone who would like to stay for a short period, value for money. Very nice, honest and accommodating couple. We will be returning if we visit Ipswich again: Thank you from Tom and Ella. Thanks for a very nice stay. The home was tidy and quiet and the host helpful and friendly. Great location for the town. Zoe was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy. Overall, a good place to rest a weary head. Zoe was a very nice host helping as much as possible. Quiet and comfortable stay with a great check in and nice location. Room wasnt the cleanest though. Great stay and I felt comfortable good for parking and shops. Thanks again for Your hospitality Zoe. Michelle was a wonderful host, so friendly, welcoming and great to chat to. The room was lovely and clean with comfortable bedding and mattress which certainly made me not want to get up for work! The neighbourhood is quiet but fairly close to the A14 for easy access with shops and the retail park close by if you need to get anything for dinner. Great value and a great host. Smooth check in process The flat itself very nice and perfectly location with a stone throw of the town centre. But also in quiet location by the docks. Brilliant and excellent place to stay. A lovely flat! Great location, walkable to the waterfront and the shopping area. Flat had everything a traveler would need, sparkling clean. He is an excellent host. It is in a great location, clean and has all that you require while away from home. Peter is an exceptional host, always responds quickly to any queries that you may have and very welcoming. Ideal location for Ipswich town and quayside etc. Fantastic apartment, great touches, very clean and with parking!!!! Great location, Peter was very proactive in checking my requirements, late check in not a problem. Never cracked the hot water though and the heating controls are a bit weird? Also lots of cereal and tea in the flat but no milk: Other than that, great but shower was a bit of a downer. Robert is a very nice chap indeed, welcomes you and makes you feel at home. The room is very clean and nice size TV with many channels you have all you need in the kitchen. Two nice pubs not too far away both serve food. I enjoyed my stay and have re-booked as have to return to this location for a little longer Highly recommend Roberts place if you want to feel like your welcome and at home, great host 5 Star. This place was perfect for a couple of nights. Easy to find, very clean place and Robert was more than happy to help out. Had an absolutely lovely time in this very homely place! If anything I wish I saw more of the lovely hosts! Everything I needed was given without having to ask! Would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely stay. Rob was welcomed me warmly, opened his house for me and the room was great. All in all it was a perfect for my short stay there. Rob was great, called to give me the description of the exact location and my room was gorgeous! Where do I start Will definitely be coming back to stay at Robs. Rob is a great host and he made me feel very welcome into his wonderful home. Facilities were spotlessly clean. I Would definitely stay again. Booked this property for my partner who was working away for the week. He said he found it very clean and Zoe to be very welcoming and helpful! A lovely peaceful clean comfortable room. Never really seen Zoe but was there if I needed her. Enjoyed my stay and was only a short walk into town. A clean, comfortable and convenient stay. The room is large, bright and warm and the en suite bathroom was a huge plus so as not to disturb anyone. Zoe was friendly, kind and flexible to my delayed arrival, and gave me plenty of privacy. Could not recommend more highly. Luke is a very nice young man and he has a lovely apartment. We slept really well as it was lovely and quiet. To be honest we only slept in the apartment and did not spend anymore time there as we were visiting family in Ipswich. The apartment is very central and within walking distance to all amenities. His place is nice and has a beautiful view. This place offers amazing value, the location is close to the station and the self check-in offers a lot of flexibility. Reuben was also available to answer a couple of questions I had about Ipswich. I definitely recommend this place. I definitely recommend. Ellie and Reuben were very welcoming hosts with a lovely flat in a great location and a great set up for their guests. Would definitely stay again the next time I visit Ipswich. It was a nice stay. I highly recommend this house for those who is looking for a place close the railway station. Nicky is a really welcoming host! She shows you her flat quickly and makes sure you have everything during your stay. It honestly felt like a home from home, such a lovely layout too. Really spacious, clean and such a great design, wish we could have the flat ourselves! Really good experience as Nicky was so helpful and accommodating, would highly recommend! Excellent, stylish apartment in a great location. Parking available underneath the apartment block on request accessed from the goals side of the building. Would recommend. I stayed here for 2 nights due to a business trip. I found the room comfortable and the house quiet. Great value for money. Great value room in Ipswich. Rosa was very friendly and welcoming. Casi como una madre o al menos una hermana mayor. Un 10 como persona. She was very responsive on messages. Her husband was very warm and friendly too. Rosa and her family were really helpful and friendly. I really appreciated their easy-going welcome. They are wonderful people, interested in us. In the morning Cindy offered us a nice breakfast. When we arrived we were welcomed with a drink with them. We had no problems finding their house. Andrew did send us some driving directions in advance. A five star example of an Airbnb. Andrew and Lynne were friendly and hospitable going out of their way to make me feel welcome in their home. The place was immaculate and the breakfast brilliant. Bed was super comfy and the room silent. All perfect! Thanks so much for having me. I was there for a 3-day visit with my son and Andrew and Lynne were very welcoming. The whole house was very clean and spotless. Lynne even offered to take my son out for a fun day outside the whole day whilst I was working. I have to say this has been an outstanding experience. They also offered a lot of choices during breakfast which is amazing. I will highly recommend them. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and excellent communication prior to check in. You will be made welcome in a lovely clean, stylish home environment where all your needs are catered for and enjoy a good nights sleep. Breakfast is plentiful with thoughtful variety, nothing is too much trouble. A stay here is thoroughly recommended. Andrew and Lynne are very kind, easy going. They made our stay pretty relaxed. Even the breakfast was great! This place is one of those which make you want to come back again. This was my very first Airbnb experience and thanks to Andrew and Lynne it was an amazing time. From the very beginning I felt welcome and relaxed. As soon as I turned up I was shown to my room which was beautiful and given a tour of the house. After, I joined Andrew and Lynne in the lounge and ended up having a good old chat for hours. The room I stayed in was immaculate and the bedding smelled wonderful and super comfortable. In the morning I was given a lovely breakfast. It has brilliant access to Ipswich an lots of lovely attractions. It was a pleasure to Email hidden by Airbnb munication was great and checking in was super easy. The house is lovely and the room very comfortable. Andrew and his partner were very positively welcoming. Very good host, I would stay again if come in town. House located very close to public main streets, shop and other facilities. We were very comfortable in our spacious double room. The house is in a great, central location and self check-in was relaxed and easy. The use of the garage was also a bonus! Very happy with our stay. Clean tidy and spacious house right on the edge of Ipswich town centre, but nice and quiet after 11pm even on the weekend. Robert was very accomadating for my needs, there was no grumble about me arriving late at night. The room as well as the rest of the house was immaculate and could not find any fault. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Ipswich. Suggestion; maybe number each of the rooms and bathroom so people know where things are if, like myself, someone arrives late. Good house small room as listing says but not as cheap as others i have seen especially for one night. This room provided good value for our one night stay. The house is in good decorative order and very clean. The money I saved on a hotel I spent on a very good meal. We stayed 5 nights. The Lodge was lovely and pleasant. The only thing I could suggest to add to make a better experience would be a microwave but we managed with out. Comfy bed and great to accommodate our dog. The Lodge. Poor quality, finishing touches were lacking. The smell of stale dampness on arrival was awful, we went and bought candles to try and mask the smell. The kitchen is not suitable for cooking due to the state of the oven. The bathroom had hairs stuck to the shower and blackness round all the edges. However I have to say the bed was very comfortable. Overall not very good, I stay in an Air BnB every weeks and this is by far the worst one I have visited. Approach with caution. Rob made us welcome on arrival. The annex is at the rear of the property, modern decor, with amenities and a nice TV. We walked to the Railway Inn where we had a nice meal and good ale, however it is best for future visitors to use a taxi or car in the dark, as there is no footpath for some of the route. But Robert was very reactive, kind and comprehensive about the situation. I rented this Airbnb for my grandfather who was in between moving houses. Ideal as this place has everything you need to live comfortably. The area is quiet and away from the road. The property smelt like smoke and was very invasive smell. The wifi did not work at all. Robert was a great host. Lovely little apartment. Just what I needed to get some space. Rob is a great host, flexible and very quick with responses. Whenever you need him, he will be there within minutes. The house is in a perfect location, only 5min walk from centre, 2min walk to a lovely park and 15min walk to the marina. I would definitely recommend to anyone. The room is good for a stop over, but not a long stay. Room was clean but wifi was sometimes difficult to log into. Limited TV channels. The hosts were very warm and friendly and showed us to our room giving us the freedom of the house. The room was very clean and stylish and we had a great sleep after a long journey. Prime location for seeing the whole of Ipswich in a very quiet street just off the main road. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value stop over. Would recommend and hope to stay again soon. Very Clean, light and airy room, comfortable bed and fabulous hostess, will come again and recommend. Kate is the perfect host. Warm, hospitable and a perfectionist. The house is also well appointed and very clean. As ever Kate was on hand to provide warm reception and a restful stay in a cheerful, clean and well appointed house. Looking forward to my next stay. By far the best place I have stayed. Both the room and host were amazing. I would not hesitate to stay again- in fact, I have a future booking already. Highly recommended!
