Жили 2 ночи, номер на 4 этаже, с неплохим видом на пляж, вот только окна раздвижные и очень старые, от этого слышимость высокая и продуваемость! Номер относительно чистый, но староват, убирались аккуратно. Затрак в вс был шведский стол, а в пн - по меню. Достаточно приемлимый вариант для ночевок. Но не сильно комфорный. Отель во вьетнамском стиле. Много этажей. Узкие коридоры и фасад. Комнаты небольшие. Хороший вид на море. Кодиционер даже не использовали, из окна дул свежий морской ветер. Ресепшен приветливый. Выполнял все просьбы. Говорили по английски. Можно арендовать байк тыс донгов в день. Мы останавливались на 3 ночи, в номерах все чисто, все удобства были. Немного неуютно, зато вид на море из окна и обдувало свежим ветерком. Завтрак вполне съедобный. Так же ресторан имеет неплохое меню, адекватные цены. Ресепшн говорит по английски, работу свою выполнял четко. Народ в основном - вьетнамцы, корейцы. Русских почти нет. Отель вполне оправдывает свою цену, мы отдыхали за Номер был просторный, чистый. Уборка - без нареканий. Для любителей взять байк - у отеля своя подотельная парковка, что оч. Персонал плохо, как и везде во Вьетнами говорит по-английски, но все вопросы, которые у нас возникали мы решали если не с помощью речи, то письменно английский письменный, это оч. Good breakfast, good air conditioning, kind size bed but I prefer a mattress with topper. Good choice for my family as the hotel is very close to the beach, park, convenient store and crowded area of Vung Tau. It has parking lot for car convenient enough. Nice staff. Breakfast buffet is good and plenty of choice. Will recommend it for my friends. The hotel has a good location right on the beach. The room was decent sized, not too big, with a good view of the city and the beach. However there was a BIG problem with the bathroom: no cold water, in either shower or sink, no matter which way you turn the faucet. Really weird and unpleasant. Would not stay again just for this reason. Also, housekeeping did not clean the room on my second day. The staff was really helpful. Breakfast was really cooked to my preference on the spot. The coffee was proper coffee.. I like. If there was any point to pick, the water pressure was weak. But other than that it was fantastic.. The staff was very nice and they provided the best service for us. The price is worth. They gave good advice about the local restaurants so we got the good food with economic price. The hotel location is near the center and the beach, so we could enjoy all the exiting activities of the city. We think that we will recommend Ocean Star hotel for our friends and we will come back to stay their if we have opportunities to visit this city. Great stay at the hotel , location was fantastic. One road and you are at the beach with all the small little pushcarts selling items such as sea shell. Staff have been quite helpful in terms of providing directions , room is clean and pleasant. Great Hotel. The room was ready on our arrival, clean with good sized comfortable beds and good selection of English speaking channels on the TV. Air conditioning worked well with the bonus of opening windows if needed. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was included in the room cost. Breakfast menu had a good selection of both Vietnames and American style dishes. Happy to stay again. The staff speak very little English, but they are very friendly. She charged almost double the price for a fried-rice just next door. There must be some cheaper hotels around since the room was a bit pricey but at least staff was friendly and helpful and i never got disappointed. Only actually stayed here for one night as travelling around asia for one month i was trying to keep to a budget. Great hotel though very friendly staff on check-in desk and the room i had was big,clean,and had a great shower in bathroom. Great views overlooking beach front. Personally think the hotel is better suited to the family cliental as the nightlife all seemed to be the other side of town down past the hydro port. Would definately recommend this hotel though and would lke to thank the staff for the pleasant stay i had there. This is the first time I am staying overnight in Vunt Tau city. This hotel is well located within walking distance to the sea just across a samll road. The rooms are clean and tidy except not too spacious. There are lots of stalls along the roadside selling foods and drinks at night and very convenient. Then around 3am I stay at 8 floor but some how I can hear music very loud come from somewhere in the area look like party or club and they keep it like that for over hour. Morning I just find out another one thing since I book hotel and should to pay now they not give me breakfast and if I pay later I will get breakfast what is it? They show at first when we book breakfast included this is worst hotel stay ever. This hotel was across the street from the Ocean is an area with enough activities to keep you busy. I took it because it was so close to the beach. The room was just a room with the basics but good enough for what I wanted. They are constructing a new building next door so be cautious of booking an Ocean View room. You have to be on the top 2 floors to get a view up the beach. They gave me a lower room without the view and I asked to have a room with an ocean view and they gave me one. I may stay again but I am not sure. Wasted 30 minutes to check in. They deny me from having ocean view room despite booking indicates so. Had to call Agoda and then they upgraded. Not worth the hassle. The windows were not clean thus no view of ocean except smudged window. My family used to come here a lot. However, this time, I feel that the hotel is a bit run-down. The AC is not bringing out enough cool air even though I set everything to maximum. Room and toilet was clean and of decent size but we got a side view of the beach and not full view. Requested for twin beds but given a double bed. Staffs were nice and friendly with minimal English. Toileteries, towel, coffee and tea set plus a bottled water were given. Breakfast was decent though lack variety. Far from most stores but the hotel is super near to Hon Ba island and Jesus Statue!!! All in all a nice stay in Vung Tau. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Star. The room was nicely kept and furnished in a contemporary style. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not as good a quality as others around town so that could be improved. Over all we liked the hotel and would stay there again in the future. We had a great stay at Ocean Star. Friendly staff, great view from the room and and ok breakfast buffet. The only negative thing I can mention is the bathroom. The bathtub was somehow leaking so after every shower there was a swimming pool on the floor. Our room was on the seventh floor and as soon as we close the door to our room it locked permanently. When we called reception no one picked up. We all had a laugh and the hotel put us in another room. After that bad start everything improved and we had a great time in Vung Tau. The hotel location was good, right infront of the sea, the atmosphere was just amazing. The hotel was old, the bathroom shower was bad, so difficult to control hot and cold when you had a bath. The lift was a big trouble, it went crazy and on off all the time which freaked my mom out big time. Aside of all that, the staffs were so nice, and the breakfast was fantastic. I saw many people in 1 bedroom at least persons. I feel disapointed. Really enjoyed the stay at Ocean Star Hotel. Nice place to stay if you want a weekend away at the beach! If you do love massage then this is a good hotel as nearby you can find lot of massage center. Spent 2 nights at the hotel. The beach is just across the road, but is very crowded and is not clean. The room was OK, but was there was very little hot water in the evening and none in the morning I think they use some solar heating system for hot water. Parking was horrible, there was enough width in the basement for one line of cars, so when I go out I needed to ask 4 other cars to move out. They should have rent the parking lot on the other side of the road for client parking. The rooms are quite small but clean and fairly comfortable with sea views although the double bed was quite small. The hotel is located on the back beach on a busy seaside strip very popular with Vietnamese holiday makers. There is a sandy beach just across the road for swimming. We were 6 people travelling to Vung Tau for a few days and ended up booking at Ocean Star as they had 2 triple rooms available. The hotel was clean, staff very courtesy and rooms comfortable, but we also really enjoyed that the location was on the local not tourist beach. While this meant that we swam in shorts and tshirts instead of bikinis since the Vietnamese women swimming were also wearing long sleeves and long pants , we loved it. Much more interesting to see how Vietnamese tourists treat their beaches than us regular tourists Terrific grilled squid and octopus on the beach, as well as a min walk around the corner for banh khot or bun mam soup. Would stay here again. Convenient location with good access to many local food and entertainment places. Reasonable room rate for decent size and clean room. Worth another stay for budget conscious travelers looking for sun, sea and sand in Vung Tau. The location of the hotel is good, but the beach is not very clean. The rooms are old and not well maintained. The sound proof of the room is quite bad as we can hear people talking at the lobby early in the morning. Friendly staff but limited English but tried. In addition, when we asked if they provided room for our driver, they said 'no' because we booked via Agoda then I replied, 'no problem, we can pay! Need a motorbikre to explore the area, it is too far from the main town and restaurants. It was quiet at night, and we had a good view of the beach. Very few non Vietnamese stay this side of Vung Tau. The room was big enough for 4 people, with ocean view,air conditioned, clean beds and bath room. The hallway and lobby were not air conditioned; therefore they were warmer. The breakfast were included in the room price, but it was limited to one dish and one drink; the waitress was slow and the cook even made wrong orders on one of the days we were there. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful; she helped us to make reservation for the bus trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. The beach is just on the other side of the road which is a big plus for us. Location is the best part of this hotel. Service quality is just as much as other local small hotels. Nothing to be impressed but it is ok for just enjoying the beach, a few steps away from the hotel entrance. A nice cozy small hotel on the beachfront of Vung Tao. Across from the sreet of the hotel is the long stretch Vung Tao beach where thousand of local and foreigner enjoy the pacific ocean. There are many vendors selling drinks, food, etc all along the beach. You can rent chair under umbrella on the beach too. The hotel room is newly decorated, clean with cool aircon. However, the only one operating elevator is very slow. The buffet breakfast is sumpteous with local Vietnamese and continental food. The staffs are nice and helpful. There are lots of taxi in front of hotel to get to anywhere. The room was so so. Not ultra clean,but not dirty either. Staffs were not ultra friendly, but not so bad either. We left an opened soda can on the desk to the beach. When we came back, lot of ants came from window flocking to the can. Breakfast is not buffet style. This is my third time staying in this hotel. The first two time was just satisfactory. My bed sheets were dusty and there are traces of sands of the bedsheets. In the bathroom, the bath tub still has traces of water not drained off. Breakfast in the next morning was worst. They do not even provide plain drinking water and the choice of breakfast were very limited and I chosen fried yellow noodles with beef. The taste were terrible and I think the chef has put in lots of salts and I could not even had a second bite. Very disappointed with this hotel, I will not come back again next month. Seaview room has a very big window looking over Back Beach. Staffs at the restaurant know very little English, we spend time explaining half boil egg and hard boil egg and still my friend did not get what she wanted. Comminication is a problem with local Vietnamese. We are stay 1 night at weekend. This hotel was good location and good service. Just a walk to reach the beach and near city center. The staff very friendly and warmly. Their service was very good. Their price so reasonable. Next time we will choose this hotel when we go to Vungtau. Everything is almost perfect. Just for menu breakfast When the hotel not fully booked, not the Breakfast Buffet is served the choice should be better, for example: beside the main mean, it should be: 1 Coffee And Juice but not Coffee Or Juice 2 A small fruit plate should be included. Very noisy because we arrived during the chinese new year so vung tau was packed but the staff very kindly let us move to the top floor which was marginaly quieter. I stay with my girls friends in this hotel for one night. I think the only good thing is close to the beach, if you love sea and would like to enjoy the beach all the times, it might be one of the choice. Well, that was nice decision to stay at this hotel in Vung Tau. The hotel itself is situated in couple of minutes from the city beach which was very nice. Clean and pariculary desert. Staff in the hotel is very nice. They always smiling and trying to do their best for you. The only one con is their language skills. Sometimes it was a bit hard to have a convesation with them. On other hand - Asia is all about that. Some ants in the rooms if you leave something sweet for a night. We bought fruits on the nearby market and hotel housekeeper slice it for us, which was very pleasant. So nice choice for that price. Friendly Staff, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, the breakfast has something to offer both the western and Asian tastes. There are definitely a number of berthed choices but the beach location does make it a justifiable choice gven that the price is not unreasonable. The staff were not helpful and not very friendly. Breakfast was included but very limited - included practically uncooked hot dogs that they tried to pass off as sausages. Hotel is across from beach but only a few rooms can actually get any beach view. Not the greatest but if Nothing else better available it can work for a night or two. Service is good. We asked for extra soap and towel, it delivers within 3mins. Located juz opposite d beach, n walking distance to the newly opened largest shopping mall in vung tau. The swimming pool must be upgraded! The only thing which is not worth money is the swimming pool! Pros: Hotel is very clean, beautiful view from my room. Upon check-in, our room was upgrades to a beautiful view. Trung was very friendly and always greeted us with a friendly smile. Cons: hotel was too crowded during our stay. Too loud in the morning and late night! Overall, i love pullman, will still be first choice over Imperial. Good service and friendly staff Good smell and good location to relax. One of the best hotel in Vung Tau. You can never go wrong booking your vocation with them. I like Restaurant staffs. Very helpful with kids. I booked three deluxe rooms. The hotel asked for 1. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The room is quite large for standard room, nice design including sleeping area and bathroom area! Great 5 stars hotel with great looking interiors and rooms. Got an upgrade to executive room with a great view of the sea. Location wise next to lotte mart buy a little far from the beach and a small pool. Overall great stay. The facilities are very good. It has a kids room so I can let my kids play while working, and its swimming pool is pretty big and clean. An international standard hotel with friendly staff and new facilities. The swimming pool is not as expected but the lobby and room design are impressive. However, we will go back to stay at Pullman if traveling to Vung Tau. For years, the only 5 star option in Vung Tau was The Imperial and i was really happy to see a Pullman locate there so i can have different option. The price in Pullman was competitive too so we decided to book 2 rooms for my group of friends. After we left for lunch at the mall next door, we came back and check-in proceed quickly. The staff was helpful and friendly too. The other 5star hotel, they have excellent beach club. I dont really need a beach club, just a private area with sun beds. The pool also let us down, very bad design. In era when every pools built with infinity concept, this pool reserved old fashion style. Hopefully, Pullman can fix this soon as i like staying in reliable global. I went to Pullman Vung Tau with my friend last weekend. It is not just near the beach but I do not prefer to go Vung Tau beach because no clean and a lot of children. I just stay in hotel and go swimming pool. Swimming pool is not very big but quiet and nice drinks.. Facility is very clean and nice smell. I love Pullman Vung Tau! Great place, great service, wonderful rooms. Only concern was a moment that was probably lost in translation. We went to the bar for Ladies night which we were told meant free mojitos. The girl serving us said 'oh no, you can order whatever you want' so we did, because we had asked if we were only allowed mojitos for Ladies Night. Perhaps staff need to be trained a little better. Very good and stylish hotel, except the swimming pool which has no trees and no other decorative items but only the rectangle pool. But the room is great. We enjoy the time there, we love the paintings at the food court. We immediately felt like we were in our own apartment, feel nice with warm welcome from the staff. We booked an executive room so we could access the executive lounge. The second thing would be the parking space for guests paying for executive rooms. We were treated indifferently from other guests. We had to park outside the hotel and walked minutes before getting to our car taking into the extraordinary hot weather in Vietnam. It would be much better if we could take an assigned parking lot underground. After all, the room is big, good, the overview from outside is fantastic. Keep 5 stars hotel service. The hospitality is perfect. The location is acceptable , it takes around minutes walk to the beach and 3 minutes walk to the supermarket Lotte Mart. The staff upgraded my rooms from superior to deluxe King bed because of grand opening month. The room is luxury and spacious but please pay attention to turn on the tap in washroom. The water splashed as the depth of washbasin is shallow. One disappointment is the size of the swimming pool and its view. Pros: Dinner buffet is really worth the money. The food is delicous with various and high quality seafood. The staff is also so caring and friendly. Cons: Horrible check-in which discourages from ever coming back. Check in is 3pm and we arrived at the hotel at 5pm and the rooms are not ready yet. The reason is not because of the staff but i think mainly caused by hotel policy. It seems they r so familiar with this that they prepare lots of excuses and mini gifts for compensation free drinks at the bar, extended check out time. Swimming pool: not ever think a 5star hotel can have such a boring pool. Didnt wanna say anything more about it. We spent our time to enjoy the last day of the year in Pullman. We expected it will be a pricey trip but it seemed not. There were hundreds of visitor came at the same time so the check-in took nearly an hour, we were in a long queue with some annoying traveler who complained a lot about the check-in. I hope the hotel can improve this by giving visitors a way for online check-in or more staffs to support. About the room, it is fully furnished, well decorated with a very nice view. Other facilities are pretty good, I impressed with the architecture at this hotel, very modern and spacious. The pool is big however quite shallow and safe for children. Our stay at Pullman Vung Tau was a great experience. The quality of the facilities really live up to 5-star hotel standard. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time. However, receptionist Mr. Minh managed to arrange the soonest available room for us within minutes. We were lucky to enjoy a free upgrade for our room as well. We just stayed there for 1 night but overall it was a great stay for both of us. I highly recommend Pullman Vung Tau if you and your family want to experience a lux stay in this beach city. This hotel looks good in general but when you zoom into the details a lot of things are not quite 4-star standard, let alone 5-star. The basement parking area in particular is an abomination and was so smelly and dirty. The common area and room designs also follow similar patterns. Pros: Good-size rooms. Decent view of the beach. I also like the painting incorporated into the bed. The mattress must be mentioned as it is very comfortable, even better than many more expensive hotels in Vietnam. Cons: Swimming pool is so ugly and is facing a very funny looking part of the residential block. Corniche bar is very corny and it would be much better if they had a band instead of a karaoke machine. Breakfast food is passable but not great. In general staff is not very polite - probably had to deal with too many countryside Vietnamese who have not stayed at international hotels before. Front of house staff and manager were excellent. Outside pool bar staff were not so good! We ordered food and drinks and it took 50 minutes and I had to ask twice! Pool area was not 5 Star not was the beach area. Both were disappointing. Breakfast was fantastic, as were the rooms. Short queue but slow check in process. Swimming pool too small. Extra breakfast too high and crowded, not valued at all. Reception easily led by other guests butting in whist we were being attended to. With this price is not worth to choose this room type. And Staff education needs to be improved. Swimming pool toilet is not clean. The room is good, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is normal like other international breakfast in the other star hotel. The coffee at the coffee lounge in the lobby is good. Though they have a bar for some drinks at night but found out that they only have karaoke lounge. Also the location is far from the beach. It was a big turn down for my 6 year old son who was so much looking forward to enjoying the pool. Very nice experience here. The staff was very friendly and flexible. I booked the wrong room, but the hotel staff was very happy to help me change the room. Strongly recommended for everyone who wants a short getaway. The accommodation was also very quiet and private. I really love a soft music at the walking aisle. We love the hotel which look very classic and luxurious. We were greeted by friendly front desk agent and welcome drink. The only minus points are the cleanliness where they did not clean our used glasses and cups. Also the check out agent seemed like was not familiar with the procedure and not really friendly. But overall a pleasant stay. Hotel is just 5 minutes walk to the lotte mart. Breakfast was great as well. This is an outstanding hotel, certainly the best in Vung Tau now for business or comfortable leisure, and far better than most business hotels in HCMC at the same price range. The biggest surprise was how well trained the staff are and their excellent attention to service. The rooms are apportioned very nicely with good attention to detail. The breakfast buffet and restaurant environment are very nice. Highly recommended. Nice hotel. Good food but not many choices for Vietnamese food. Advantages: Great decoration, good staffs. Disadvantage: Breastfast is great flavor but not many foods. Do not have mini fridge only cooler. Do not have private beach as Imperial Order porridge for 2 years old kid and remind to cook thicken but the porridge is too loose.
