Мы остановились у Yohan на 4 ночи в Авиньоне и остались под большим впечатлением от Yohan. Он отвечал быстро на все наши вопросы , очень точно описал как добраться до квартиры. Сама квартира расположена в самом центре города ,в пешей доступности ко всем достопримечательностям. В самой квартире было очень уютно и комфортно для проживания : хорошая бытовая техника ,посуда ,кофе ,чай,соль,сахар. Большое спасибо Yohan , мы обязательно будем советовать твою квартиру и сами еще остановимся. Nice little apartment in the center of the city, a bit difficult to find in the street though. In general I would recommend it but not in the summer period. This is a nice apartment in an excellent location. The bed is a fold out sofa, but comfortable. The stairs are steep and spirally, which may be difficult for older guests, but I thought that they were fun and cool-looking! Небольшая квартира в самом центре. Довольно стильно и уютно. Старинный дом на узенькой улочке, стильное убранство, отлично оборудованная кухня. Очень удачное расположение - для пеших прогулок по Авиньону. В 5 минутах - все магазины, кафе, рестораны. Рядом огромная бесплатная парковка. И быстрый интернет. Лола очень доброжелательная хозяйка, в любых вопросах придет на помощь и подскажет. Хорошо оборудованная квартира в старом городе. Главная проблема парковка, но нам повезло - было место на улице перед домом. Кондиционер в коридоре и для охлаждения комнат двери в них надо держать открытыми, что не всегда удобно. Lola was very accommodating to our schedule and was there to welcome us when we arrived. The apartment was spotless and was in a great location to walk around and see the city. We were able to walk to dinner every night which we loved! She also left a great personalized guide book with her favorite restaurants and spots. Our only problem, and this may be our fault for not reading the details of the apartment, is that there is no air conditioning. It really was not bearable for summer nights when temperatures are in the 80s and 90s. I would have given the apartment five stars otherwise. Ci ritorneremmo sicuramente. Lola was a great host. Но, после первой ночи, мы поняли, что экономия не всегда должна быть экономной и иногда лучше заплатить чуть больше, но жить в комфорте, особенно если речь идёт более чем об одной ночи в апартаментах. Начнём с хороших моментов: расположение- 5 из 5, близко к центру, достопримечательностям, а для тех, кто путешествует без авто- вокзал рядом, туристический центр тоже рядом. Но, ремонт оставляет желать лучшего, мебель и посуда старые. И самое ужасное во всей этой истории- это комары. Первый этаж, там очень сыро, и комаров очень много. В общем, если вы хотите сэкономить- вариант подходящий, но из приятного там только месторасположение. Jean-Christophe est une personne sympathique. Great location and friendly host. Easy to connect with and all was as expected. Jean-Christiophe gave some good advice for parking and local resteraunts. We could hear a bit if street foot traffic during the night but it was notenough to keep us up. It has been a very good staying. The apartment was very good; big, clean, just the bed has the typical french size,so if you are taller than cm,its gonna be a bit unconfortable. Jean-cristophe and sa copine has been really kind. The location is just little bit far from the train station, have to walk about 20 minutes. But, still everything is good. It was really convenient to check in and out. Близко к папскому замку, на средневековой улочке и в то же время в стороне от главных туристических дорог. Хозяин точен, с заселением проблем не было. Быт лаконичен, но все необходимое есть. Комната вполне просторна. Я жил один, но и для двоих места вполне достаточно. Под окном проходит дорога. Машин ездит не много, но улица узкая и звук сильный. Утром приходится закрывать окно. Возможно, это единственное неудобство расположения. Квартира находится в очень хорошем месте. Уютной ее не назовешь, на одну-две ночевки подойдет. Кухня не очень хорошо оборудована и кровать слишком мала для двоих. Уютная,не большая квартира-студия. Месторасположение очень хорошее. Не далеко от центра и от вокзала. Все есть в квартире. Кровать для двоих не очень удобная. Но в целом все очень понравилось. Квартира была чистой, уютной! Здесь было все необходимое для жизни. Хозяин квартиры очень приветлив и доброжелателен! Tha place is at great location in Avignon, Sonia is kind that she let us leave our luggage in the appartment before noon. SO tolle Zimmer und das Wohnzimmer war auch ein Traum! They are a charming couple, and extremely welcoming and supportive. The building had amazing character The building had amazing character and history. It was in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to all the action in the city centre. The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable. It was equipped with a very sophisticated, but easy to operate entertainment system. It was one of the most enjoyable times that we spent in France. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place in Avignon which provides excellent value and comfort. Joris and Eve are a very special young couple and have done an excellent job with the apartment which shows their attention to detail. Joris was a wonderful host: attentive, helpful, and very warm. His apartment is stunning - set in a 14th century building in the shadows of the Palais des Papes. The main room is enormous, but he bathroom is very compact that is a tiny downside and the only fault one could have with this fantastic place. Highly recommended! This apartment has an excellent view of the castle from the bedroom and the living room. It is amazing to wake up to this! The place was very clean and filled with everything you will need for an extended stay. It is 5 minutes walking from the Palace and 10 minutes wlaking to the city walls, great location. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and pillows were clean. The living room is ery large and and excellent place to hang out while you take a break from sight seeing. Joris was an excellent host, he was able to accommodate us on short notice and work around our arrival time. He had many helpful tips and suggestions on places to eat around town. This apartment is in a great spot, close walking distance to everything, quiet, and a great size for one or two people. The bathroom was very narrow but otherwise I enjoyed staying here. Gilles communicates directly and efficiently, I never even met him but I had no problem finding the place or getting in. Highly recommend staying here. Have everything I need for cooking. Also, big thanks to him for picking me up from bus station. He explained everthing and make sure I am ok in the studio. Even for the check out he send me the message to help me for transportation. We got into town late at night and later than planned, and he came to pick us up from the train station. He was very friendly and gave us great advise on where to visit and eat. We were driving with car from Spain to Germany and chose to stay overnight in Avignon. Muriel was very quick in replying to all my messages. I speak a little bit of French but everything was great. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The apartment is located in the very city centre. Walking distance to all ancient beautiful buildings and multiple places to dine and drink out. You would also probably love their nice cute balcony to have a breakfast , for example, or having a late night drink. One thing important if you travel by car: check parking location in advance, because the city centre has no public available free parking. I would definitely recommend to stay in this place. Mathieu was very accommodating, as we missed out exit on highway and were almost 1h later than agreed, he waited for us. The spiral staircase is narrow, but for us it was not a problem since we had only backpack. The loft is 3min from the nearest parking lot. Avignon is an old city with many narrow streets and uniquely located buildings, that is part of its charm. We arrived a little early and Bruno was quick to meet us and provide instructions on everything in the apartment. The space is exactly as shown in the pictures, very cozy and located within very easy walking distance of everything. Being on the ground floor, there was some noise from the street, however the cost and location more than made up for any inconvenience. The apartment is wonderful and great location. It is the perfect location in which to base yourself to see everything that is wonderful in Provence. Michel and Stephane welcomed us with open arms, were helpful without being intrusive and responded very quickly when we needed help with the dishwasher user error! We also appreciated the lovely bottle of local rose wine on arrival and the espresso coffee and machine. We were travelling with our two teenage children - no problems. Basics in cupboard for cooking. Toiletries provided. Took us to pick up our hire car and checked in on us. Had lots of advice on what to do during our stay. The Chateau Les Cigales was everything we hoped for and more. As a family of 4 travelling through Europe in winter we were seeking a warm sanctuary where we could relax but also explore Provence with ease. This stylish apartment was very warm and supremely comfortable. We enjoyed our walks over the river to Avignon and easily found provisions in the local supermarkets, patisseries and boulangeries. Michel and Stefan have fashioned a delightful apartment with fabulous views over Avignon. We never tired of watching the different hues and colors that the winter sunlight created on the Palais Des Papes. The view was magnificent, the decor was palatial and you really felt you were in a stately country residence. The location was private and set in parkland. In the midst of the gorgeous stone medieval streets. Achba is a gracious and helpful host. She gave us jams and wine! The apartment is sunny, pretty, and clean, the bed is comfortable. Downsides: no shelves or closets to unpack your clothes in. We only wish we could have stayed here longer! Nathalie was very nice, she got a lovely and cosy flat just inside the old city. My two friends and I had a really nice time staying in Saads apartment. It was very comfortable and decorated nicely. It was also very close to the town centre. Would stay here again. It was larger than it appears in the pictures. It was decorated very nicely, and fit 4 adults without a problem. The apartment is in perfect location, and it was spacious. The instructions for house washing machine, tv, checking out, etc were clear and provided in both French and English which was very helpful. The young lady who let us in to the apt was very sweet and pointed out her favorite spots on the way. Parking is a bit difficult if you arrive on a weekend but the location is glorious. The apartment is in a fantastic location, and is just as charming as it seems on the pictures. We stayed there the three of us with my 9 year old daughter, and for that the space was perfect. One more child is probably ok, but I would say that for a larger group it may get a bit tight. The wifi is fast and easy, and there is also a vast amount of information from the hosts about the region, recommendations for Avignon, and other helpful and useful insights. The apartment is furnished with very good taste, and I loved the thoughtful additions here and there that gave the home so much character. The only potential down side was that there was quite a bit of noise inside the building at night with some other tenants coming and going, but the area otherwise is very peaceful and the house is on a quiet street. We also were there on a Saturday in August, which I would imagine is busier than other periods. Overall, I definitely recommend this apartment to others fully, and thanks for Kathy and Saad for the lovely Provencal experience!
