Cox is very old school. Standard pub with Sunday eveniing and the place was packed. We were 5 friends having a great last night in Paris. Standard pub with a very mixed crowd and quirky staff. Very easy to get chatting to people and an absence of attitude. I went with gay and straight work No seating so standing up, having fun and getting in touch with the other tourists or locals. Will be back. Served by a tall bearded chap who appeared to be the boss Never had such a bad treating in Paris. Security pushed me and was rude. So we were there in the late afternoon for a couple of drinks before dinner. Loved the decor, which according to their Facebook page changes theme every now and then. Arrived after midnight on Saturday, everyone was outside while the inside was empty. Bartender was not all that friendly. Nothing was happening. Just walked into Le Cox in Le Marais to dance and have a drink; was told to go around the corner to a lesbian bar. I come here once a year, I love this place. It very friendly staff and nice red building. You can sit on the bar stool or stand inside or outside. I be back next year thanks,.
