The staff is going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We arrived at night and they helped us with ordering food, free water was provided at all times. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, 2 monitors walk to the beach, modern with an industrial touch. The massage at the SPA was amazing too! As much as Mount Lavinia is not the most amazing place in Sri Lanka, this hotel helped us to enjoy the surroundings : totally recommended! Staff accommodating requests. This place is absolutely beautiful. From the manic streets and down a side road I entered Coza Ceylon and was greeted by a warm and friendly smile and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I wanted somewhere to totally relax and get over my jet lag before I started a tour. I had one massage which was amazing and a reiki session which was fantastic and totally rebalanced me. The rooftop pool was delightful and I had it all to myself for two days, sharing with only the local wildlife that visited. Everything was spotlessly clean. The decor throughout the hotel was amazing and was all designed by the owner. The breakfasts were soooo delicious and were beautifully presented and just the right amount to keep me going until dinner. Both the owners and the staff were a pleasure and made me feel so welcome and at home. Thank you all so much and it was lovely to meet you all. If I ever came back to mount lavinia I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to anyone It is definitely more like a 4 star! The other hotels I stay at have a lot to live up to!! This is a really fabulous find. The owners are there working incredibly hard to make everything perfect. Sabuhan drove us out to two different restaurants after we arrived because we were tired and then fussy! And the beds are soooo comfortable. Fine white egyptian cotton sheets. Beautiful pillows. Quiet too and only 30 seconds walk to a fabulous beach. The staff, especially Nimran, who went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was extra clean and well maintained; the atmosphere extremely relaxing. Will definitely visit again. Plus, the food provided was delicious. We can tell alot of effort went into the preparation. If I could give this place an 11 I would! The owners are exquisite and their hotel is an hidden gem: the room was equipped with a partially outdoor bathtub that was almost too much to ask for. Wifi was poor, not good for streaming. The pool could be kept better maintained, it was getting a little green on the tiles when we first turned up, this was sorted out while we were there. However, this will put off the western customers from using it. The style, the comfort, the quality of the bedding and the towels were all excellent.
