Above all the team has made a very warm welcome upon our arrival and because we had our wedding in a Four Season hotel in France they upgraded us to a wonderful villa. It has been a short but very exciting experience and we would like to come back to this place for a longer experience next time. Everything was perfect and the management has made every efforts to make us feel good and very special. We liked the stargazing tour, the fire dance show, they polynesian night with traditional food. But the past part is the santuary to swim with tropical fishes. Everyone get free gears to snorkel around and I think this is quite fantastic : The property iy really clean. The view from the main beach and the location of the hotel is exceptional. We ordered in room dining several times and it was really tasty, fast and just amazing to dine while watching the waves from our bungalow terrace highly recommended! Friendly staffs and awesome views. Unforgettable memory. We stayed in an overwater bungalow for two nights and loved every second. From arrival, every little detail was done with care - from the boat ride across the lagoon from the airport, and being met by staff and taken by golf buggy to our bungalow. The bungalow itself is breathtaking, huge and well fitted out, with a beautiful deck and access straight into the water. The resort has many complimentary activities which can keep you busy for days. We had a delicious buffet breakfast and spent the day kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, chilling at the beach and pool and at the spa. Again every detail was thought of, down to regular ice water on the beach. Dinner was also delicious, particularly Arii Moana. All services used were comfortable. Good time was spent. This place is like paradise. There were some reservations issues for me that were eventually fixed. The overwater bungalows experience was amazing. To be able to jump into the ocean from your balcony in the morning, rinse off outside and then paddleboard or snorkel to other parts of the resorts and facilities from your room was so fun! Also, being able to use a messaging app for questions and services was very convenient. The service was incredibly inconsistent. They can afford to have a full time personal concierge for each guest at that price. Allot of imported Management Trainees that lack the talent, experience and especially the local knowledge and culture. Very low value for money. The location of the bungalows with a view on the mountain is perfect. Every single detail. The hotel policy is basically once you paid and trapped we will do nothing for you. Extremely dirty, actually the beds smelled like piss, we changed them more than we ever done in any hotel.. The lunch table we had has not been cleaned in 10 days. The bathtub had hair on it. I had to wash the bathroom myself. The food is extremely boring and ultra-expensive. We were sick of it at the end. And of course, dirty glasses, dirty cutlery. Many days the cleaning team will not come and we will leave at 8AM to come back at 2PM and the bed was still not done. The service is terrible, you ask for food and you will wait for an hour or more. You ask the room service to come and pick up the food and the food will stay there for more than 24h. The person at the front desk Pauline was really nice. Rooms just great. The overwater bungalows need some restoration, especially the bungalow we stayed in But they are contrsucting new bungalows now, so I guess next step would be the restoration of existing ones : We could not do the parasailing and it was one of the main purposes of our trip there.
