However the bed covers were dirty, the lighting in the room was poor and the TV did not work. The shared camp kitchen, tap fixture was broken. Not the best look for international travellers. The toilets and showers were tired and only one soap dispenser worked and the hand dryer was broken. Good to have the camp kitchen close and a large fridge to store our food. Air-conditioning was good too. Needed a good spring clean. Shower kept leaking - even after it was fixed. Everything is too much expensive. They take too much advantage of their monopoly situation. They were so dirty we chose not to bath. The only available place is the hotel restaurant, while the pub is opened only for lunch. But hey: The hotel is a luxury hotel in the middle of the desert. In the restaurant I ate the best kangaroo fillets in my whole trip to Australia. Near the room there is plenty of space for parking the car and near the hotel there is a very nice spot for looking at the sunset on kings canyon. Nothing in particular. Breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant were great. Loved the pool area. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. No towels to be used at the swimming pool. Nice location, just 10 min drive from the fantastic Rim walk. Very good breakfast. Not enough restaurant staff. We ordered two meals and ate half a meal after waiting 30 minutes for table service. The free upgrade due to a broken air conditioner was the only treat on offer. Staff was a bit superior at the reception with no proper guidance about the resort facilities. Overpriced and the read to reach the venue is kind of off road and u need 4WD. No Free Wifi and the paid Wifi is only located in the bar or the reception which is like 15 min walk from the rooms may be more The food price was expensive for bar food only pizza. The Room was awesome, clean, and have my extra pillow, smokefree with jacuzzi inside the room. Breakfast was sufficient. Nothing to dislike a great place and enjoyed every minute of it. The breakfast was great and had a brilliant selection of food. The Carmichael served a absolutely delicious evening meal. Great service all round all staff very pleasant. We were in a budget room but it was spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the little patio. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb.
