"This is the first interview I've ever done where I'm not wearing panties. Lucky you," says Kristen Bell. And that is how I met the 33-year-old actress ( House of Lies, Veronica Mars ), who, for the record, was wearing a robe. We were on set at her recent Allure shoot, where she had just stripped down for the annual Nudes feature in our May issue (on newsstands now). As you might guess, she was pretty candid when we chatted.
What's your favorite body part? "I'm a big fan of buns. Buns and cakes. On anybody. Not just my own. I mean, I'm a fan of my own buns. I'm very happy with the amount that I've been given, and I often attempt to sculpt them into something more than what I've been given. But I notice other people's buns quite a bit."
Were you comfortable with your body while you were pregnant? "I was terribly frightened that I would feel like a schlub and not at all beautiful. But I've never been so comfortable with my body. When I looked in the mirror, I saw Cindy Crawford."
Have you ever used a body double? "I have definitely and happily used a body double. It's a very nice thing to be able to rely on."
How did you exercise after your daughter was born? "I started doing Pilates, then I realized it wasn't as torturous as regular cardio, so I've kept it up. I'm more in shape now than I've been at other times in my life."
Why pose nude? "I talk a big game about being comfortable no matter my size. I wanted to put my money where my mouth was."
If there's one person you don't want to see these pictures, who is it? "I'm not concerned with anyone. I hope it's not misinterpreted, but that's too big of a problem for me to actually think about."

Fans are reeling over Kristen Bell’s naked yoga photo on Instagram shared by husband Dax Shepard on Mother’s Day. But many couldn’t help but notice the star sporting an unusual pair of socks.
On Sunday, May 9, Dax posted a picture featuring Kristen doing yoga, in nothing but her colourful socks.
Many fans reacted to Kristen’s nude yoga photo. Some were even asking if Kristen knew that her husband had shared such a picture of her.
But, it seems like The Good Place star did approve the flashy picture, as re-shared it on her now-deleted Instagram Story.
Along with Kristen’s yoga photo, Dax wrote a caption that read, “Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft.”
The Hit and Run star further expressed his gratitude for his wife saying, “My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you.”
In the picture, Kristen is seen doing yoga in the backyard of her house. To keep the picture Instagram appropriate, Dax censored over wife Kristen’s bottom with a red block.
However, this didn’t stop the internet from hyping over the picture.
Fans couldn’t help but notice Kristen’s funky blue coloured dress socks. But some keen-eyed folks also noticed that the socks had “Biden” written over the hem.
Many fans commented on the picture. One fan said, “It’s amazing that compression socks of all things were the only focused effort for clothing. Bless her heart. She must be fun.”
Another fan said, “If you can’t do naked yoga with socks on in your yard, you aren’t doing it right.”
A third user wrote, “Really nice knowing that Kristen and I have the same Joe Biden socks.”
Kristen’s socks from the yoga pictures are called, Aviator Blue Dress Socks. The socks were previously available on store.bideninaugural.org . However, the online store is closed now.
But fans need not be disappointed as a similar-looking pair is available on Amazon. Amazon is selling the 3 pairs pack of Biden Harris socks for $8.99.

Dax Shepard continued to be one of the more, let’s say, unfiltered husbands of Hollywood on Sunday (May 9), posting a sweet Mother’s Day tribute to his wife, Kristen Bell …along with a photo of her doing yoga in their backyard completely nude. Actually, no, not completely nude. The Frozen star has socks on.
Covering Bell’s booty with a red square, Shepard wrote, “Mom’ing has changed since I was a kid...and I’m here for it. Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you @kristenanniebell ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” So sweet. Though we should point out, there’s been naked moms for decades. Check your mom history facts, Dax!

Bell shared Shepard’s post to her own Instagram Stories, so she approves of the shot. And on her own grid, she uploaded a picture of herself enjoying a beverage next to a puppet, which may be a reference we don’t understand? She also wrote, “Happy mothers day to each and every kind of anyone who holds and uses that magnificent mama energy. The world turns because of you all.” Totally true. Still confused about the puppet, though.

Bell also shared a video message from celebrity moms, including Troian Bellisario, Sarah Wright, and Shay Mitchell, wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all kinds of moms, from women who foster kids to dads who take on that role to every other kind of mother figure.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have two daughters, Lincoln and Delta. On Shepard’s birthday in January, Bell wrote , “It’s my favorite day of the year! When I get to celebrate the birth of my very favorite human on earth, and spoil him till he rots! The one who’s commitment to growth is astounding, who’s honesty is admirable, and who makes me laugh more than anyone. I love u so dearly.”

Anyone who has ever seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall will never forget the opening scene.
After Peter (Jason Segel) gets out of the shower, he finds his TV star girlfriend Sarah (Kristen Bell) waiting to break up with him. The shock causes him to drop his towel, showing both Sarah and the audience more of him than they could have ever expected. But that wasn't always the plan. "[Jason] and I were talking about the script and he said he thought it would be funny if he showed his penis in the opening," recalls director Nicholas Stoller. "I was like, ‘I don't think you can do that.' I literally just didn't think you could do it. And then in this meeting at Universal, he said, ‘I really think it would be funny if I did full frontal in that scene,' and everyone laughed. I was like, ‘Oh, I guess you can do that.'"
Like much of the movie, the naked split was pulled from Segel's own love life, so with the writer/actor ready to recreate the painful moment, they initially stayed even more faithful to the actual events than the final onscreen product. "There was a part that we ended up cutting from the script — this is actually what happened — where he chose the outfit that as he put it ‘he'd be broken up in,'" shares Stoller. "He was like picking a shirt that his girlfriend at the time had bought for him to make her feel really bad. But it just slowed down the scene so we ended up not doing that."
And still, that experience didn't make it any easier on Segel when it came to filming. "He was mainly nervous that his wiener look normal, which in a very cold stage is hard to achieve," says Stoller, laughing. "So he had set up a private room where he got his wiener looking normal. And Kristen and I just waited and he'd yell, ‘Okay, I'm ready,' and then I'd say action and he'd run out to do the scene."

Added Bell of the shooting experience: "Jason psyched himself up to doing it and he really owned the fact that he did write it and that he was going to go through with it. Because I'm sure on the day it felt so much more vulnerable than when he wrote it…at his house…the previous year. That was one of the last scenes we shot in the film, so we were all very comfortable with each other. And although the beginning of the day was vulnerable, it was apparent that we were all friends, because by the time we had moved on from close ups, Jason was still naked and didn't realize it. I was like, ‘J, you can put your pants on now.'"
Segel was required to stay naked for a while, considering all the different angles Stoller wanted to film. "I had no idea what the audience would put up with," admits the director. "So I shot the scene as if we'd show it the whole time, a version where he kept the towel on, one from the waist up, and then the weirdest one, which took a long time to frame, was just the top half of the trunk of his penis. There's maybe like a second and a half of wiener in the entire movie. We did test screenings where there was more of it and people just didn't want it. We discovered that less is more when you're shooting wiener. [ Laughs ]"
For the film's final scene, Segel would get naked again and his willingness to repeatedly bare it all earned him the respect of his costar. "There was a part of me that really loved it because we are so used to and almost numbed by female nudity," says Bell. "Jason Segel was one of the first to exploit male nudity in a film and I just thought that was, and I say this with a laugh, but that was very brave." The Good Place star then acknowledged that Segel himself wrote the scenes, declaring, "Which is why I didn't take any of his nerves on set very seriously. I was like, ‘You wrote this, bro! You didn't need to write it if you didn't want to do it.'"
But despite Bell's good-natured ribbing, Segel had great support from his cast and crew, which was on full display when they supported him on the day of by wearing T-shirts featuring the statue of David. Cracks Bell, "Everybody had a d— on their shirt that day."
