Остановились второй раз. Прошлый - ровно год назад. За это время произошли значительные изменения. Расширился Спа-салон, появился душ на пляже, строится бар на пляже. Встретили как родных. Очень теплое и дружелюбное отношение со стороны персонала. Особо хочется отметить прекрасную работу и заботливое отношение со стороны генерального менеджера Франсуа и менеджера Кристи. Мы благодарны студенткам Московского университета Анне и Бахории, проходящим стажировку в резоте, за их старательность и внимание к нам. Кроме них хочется поблагодарить очаровательную девушку из Испании Беренис, которая также находилась там на стажировке, за ее исключительное внимание к нам и заботу. Кухня ресторана изыскана и разнообразна. Завтраки просто великолепны! Особенно вкусен кофе, лучший из всего кофе, что мы пробовали во Вьетнаме. А мы были во Вьетнаме в пятый раз и объездили весь с севера на юг. Очень вкусны фреши на завтрак и коктейли в баре. Прекрасный пляж с домашним рифом. Обязательно вернемся сюда. В этот резот мы с женой переехали из Кондао си трэвел резот, где нам было хорошо и комфортно. Но, попав в Пуло Кондор, я понял, что отсюда я даже за территорию выходить не буду. Она нам очень помогла в дальнейшем и мы признательны ей за помощь и отзывчивость. Я долго изучал этот резот по имеемой в интернете информации. Информации было немного и меня одолевали сомнения. Но это был тот случай, когда действительность оказалась куда прекрасней, чем фотографии и описания. Территория очень красивая. Максимально сохранены джунгли. Джунгли начинаются в пяти метрах от виллы или от бассейна. Завтраки выше всяких похвал. Разнообразно и очень вкусно. Ресторан дороговат. Но готовят вкусно. Особая благодарность супервайзеру ресторана, который хорошо говорит по-английски и очень общительный. А также девушке -ассистенту менеджера ресторана. Все тебе приносят официанты вместо шведского стола. Номера в виллах большие и прекрасно оборудованы. Стафф очень вежлив и предупредителен. Резот находится еще в стадии строительства, но это нисколько не мешает. Обстановка очень уютная и по-семейному теплая. Море выше всяких похвал. Вода кристально чистая и теплая. Стафф извинялся, что у них практически нет развлечений, но для нас это оказалось не так. Мы с женой любим снорклинг и не далеко от берега мы нашли небольшой, но очень красивый коралловый риф, о котором не знал стафф резота. Снорклинг у на был три раза в день и совершенно бесплатно. При заселении нам выдали талоны на одно посещения массажа в спа-салоне. Часовой массаж - это что-то. Девочки очень старались и мы вышли заново рожденные. Уезжать очень не хотелось и мы решили вернуться во что бы то ни стало. Спасибо всему персоналу Пуло Конндор Бутик Резот! We stayed 5 nights and it was a great time. Reasonable prices for the scooter and nice chats with the hotel manager completed the whole stay. We loved our stayed here. It was supper nice of them to let us keep the room til our departure to the airport. Their breakfast was nice, the service could be slow sometime even not many people staying there at the weekdays. The place is so beautiful with its architecture and nature. In addition the pool area is great and the beach and water is very clean. The resort is rather isolated at the north of Con Dao which can be a disadvantage if you like to go downtown. However it also makes it very peaceful and you feel like you have traveled to a remote island where you have left all civilization behind you. We stayed six days in the Poulo Condor Resort and had an amazing time there. The poolvilla is very spacious, the location great with a huge beach mostly without people, great food and great and very friendly staff Tu Hung Beg, Chris, Nhuan, Loi, Cam, Tuyen, Habib and many more. The resort is quite big and spacious. You can spend an entire day at the resort without the need to go out. There are a trekking trail nearby the resort which you can explore. As the resort is located in a remote area, the beach is deserted and you feel like you can have the beach all for yourself. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make me feel very welcoming while staying at the resort. I totally enjoyed Poulor Condor Resort during my visit. Would love to visit again someday. I have been here 2 times. This is definitely the cooolest resort in Vietnam. The hotel is good, staffs are really nice, friendly and helpful. Very nice welcome when I arrived with airport pick-up. Spa quality is also good, really enjoy the massage after long hot day. However, since Con Dao is one of diving destinations in Vietnam, and I went for diving mainly, hotel location is pretty far from the meeting point for the dive which is in city center. However, they compensate that with free shuttle twice a day. When I came in the hotel,I felt so good that I want return here again. The banaglow is big,and the bathroom is clean. It takes only 5 minutes to get hotel from the airport by car. The island is quiet. And there is no many tourists. U can enjoy the holidays! The hotel offers the service of renting motorbike,only ,vnd per day. When I checked out,I felt so awful. Because she said I should pay money for minibar. After she told me I drink 7 bottles. But when I checked in,the receptionist told me four bottles drink are free. I thought there were 4 free bottles drinks. So I drinked the all 4 bottles every day. But she told me that 4 bottles are free in first day. I was crazy. I can buy drink in supermarket. I suggest that the receptionist of hotel should tell Clair to the guest. If I have chance to go to con dao island again. I felt so awful. The room is quite large around 96m2. It is impressive with French collony interior. The staff is very nice and friendly. Services is good. We have had a great breakfast in nice decorated restaurant. There is a privated beach with very green and clean water. Three minus point: 1. Bathroom is large, nice decorative, but the bathtub is really small. Need more colorful flowers in the garden. If you want the crownded and busy street, you need move to hotels in town center. We had the best days at Poulo Condor. Service was impeccable, food was really good you have to try the pomelo salad , and most of the time we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The rooms were spacious, super clean and tastefully designed. In all, highly recommended! The villas are gorgeously designed in a colonial style. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort is quite a long way away from town, but the hotel offers shuttle services twice a day. If you are looking to get away from the noise and the dirt and the crowds, then Poulo Condor Resort is the perfect place. I was there for 8 nights and during that time I heard traffic three times and each occasion was nothing more than a motorbike I currently live in Saigon so to get away from the traffic was something near the top of my requirements for a holiday. The location is perfect; right by a clean beach with a mountainous backdrop, a large pond, trees and nothing but the sound of insects in the evening. The staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous and the food is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you want lots to do with a modern hotel feel to it, then go somewhere else. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed and was one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. If you are looking for a place to relax and switch off then this is it. The resort is beautiful, the grounds and villas are all very well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the interiors are lovely. The outdoor bathroom was an additional nice touch and the bath was one the most comfortable I have had the pleasure to use. The staff are all very helpful and efficient and offer an excellent service. The facilities are great with a large outdoor pool, gym and spa along with bicycles, snorkelling and kayaking equipment. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable and enjoyable one. We hope we will be able to return again one day. Excellent place right at beach and close to airport. We were in low season and few guests, which made it a very private experience. Do talk to the owner of the place and listen to his story: he was a prisoner on the island himself! Perfection aside from the food, which was decent but not extraordinary. Beautiful resort with wonderful beach. Rooms are well sized with gorgeous Indo-Chinese furnishings. A short drive to the only town on the island along impressive windy coastal roads. Resort has kayaking, spa, bicycle hire and a heap of excursions. Would say the breakfast though is only average, UHT milk, a poor muesli and few veg options. Staff are all lovely and on point particularly Christy. Highly worth as a getaway for peace and tranquility. The Poulo Condor can rightly call itself a resort because it has fulfilled our wishes down to the smallest detail. We have noticed the following aspects in particular: - tidiness - Location Uniquely spacious and single in the middle of the jungle - helpfulness and friendliness of the staff - Beach: Very spacious private beach where only guests of the resort have access, very nice sunbathing possibilities - Pool landscape: Very nice pool in the middle of the jungle with tasty pool bar - Furnishing in the Indo-Chinese style: Every little thing was chosen with heart and soul, which we particularly liked! We booked this resort at short notice during our Vietnam trip because we literally ran aground on Con Dao. First we booked 3 nights and then we extended to 6 due to the breathtaking atmosphere. The resort was lovely and peaceful. We felt a sense of peace and tranquility at Poulo Condor. Definitely worth coming back to in the future. Our only recommendation is to provide a golf cart for each Villa. This way, the guest could tour the resort with ease. Tops - The resort is gorgeous the facilities and the location , properly clean, maintained and decorated. Tips - Food selection at the pool bar could be more diverse. Poulo Condor Boutique Resort is a beautiful one with nice villas surrounding by natural and green landscape. My favourite place here besides the beach was the awesome swimming pool. You will have the feeling of being in the wood with mountains, trees, plant and clear water. I love the colour of this area: so green. Taking a lovely path to the beach, you may open your mouth because it is like the heaven on earth. The beach is amazing and no word can describe its beauty and peace. Mouthwatering food, heavenly Spa treatment, pristine beach, warm pool and great French Colonial style room. The resort also contains rich history itself on a historical island. My family and our elderly parents found the stay enjoyable. The staff have a very helpful attitude and many communicated well in English. The resort is located 5 minutes away from the Con Dao airport so ideal for those who do not want to live near the town center. At the time of visit, this resort is new so I see ongoing work to improve the facilities and the restaurant. The restaurant food in my view is pricey for the quality provided and the hotel should consider providing a more valuable offering. To get to town, the hotel provides a two-way shuttle twice a day or a taxi could be called. A taxi coming from town takes about 30 minutes to get to the hotel. The town has many historical places and more food options. My family took a tour to visit Bay Chanh island to witness turtles laying eggs and hatching. It was a very memorable experience and well worth the visit despite staying in very basic facilities sleeping in rooms with no fan, or hammock. The Poulo Condor hotel staff were kind to keep some of our luggage until we returned the following day to get our flight home. Overall, Con Dao is beautiful place with many opportunities to create great memories and Poulo Condor is a great place to stay. Luxuriating at its finest. From the mountainous views to the beach, the volcanic stepping stones, serene infinity pool, incredibly welcoming staff, delicious food and super yummy cocktails, this resort tucked away in the midst of a national park is the very definition of tranquil. Have breakfast by the pool and enjoy the mist over the mountains, butterflies and dragonflies dancing on the waterlily ponds or dine on the pavillion and listen to the frogs singing at night. Not for the party animals. There are so many special little touches here and there but be sure to indulge in a spa treatment with Nhung or Lien, they will leave you quite literally floating like a butterfly or a cloud. The pool is a great size and as the description says the backdrop of the forest is picturesque. This is not the hotels fault and they are doing a lot to try and address this with weekly clean ups and notices encouraging people to get involved. There is a spa which is very good with hugely welcoming staff and great treatments, when you apply their discounts it makes it great value for money compared to other similar places in Vietnam. The breakfast is ok, standard buffet options but whilst the staff are really trying to make your stay the best there are a few issues with things getting lost in translation. Drinks are also very overpriced, again compared to other places on the islands k Vs k Dong for cocktails. They have scooter and bike hire options which is great and for a good price. The rooms are all huge, even the cheapest option, with nice big bathrooms and the usual in-room facilities. We did find a few things missing, like mosquito candles, in-room. Very nice resort. Rooms are very large. The restaurant could have more choices and the breakfast could be better. Very nice staff wherever you are at the resort. The room a nice and quite big. In general the concept of the villas are fine. Even the staff try to serve in a professional way, they are far away to be trained. In general I am missing a full service concept. Considering the level of the hotel there is not dinner- and breakfast concept. The price on the bars are overpriced an in a pure quality as well. It is a pity as the location is good but there is some international management missing with a clear focus on service. The pictures on the website do not show off how amazing this resort is. The beach is beautiful and clean. Room was perfect. Food is good. Very happy and will return in the future. Wish that it has more food options. The resort and beach were beautiful. The pool was great. The service really needs improvement. There were 2 great people Trung at reception was one on staff. However for a resort of this caliber, almost all of the employees should be great. I stayed for 5 nights and asked them to set up a diving trip for me. They were not able to contact anyone to set it up and Trung set up a snorkeling trip. I was very disappointed about staying for so long and not being able to go diving weather was not althe issue. At the restaurant, English was a problem. For 1 breakfast I had to send back my eggs twice, just as 1 example. The location is a bit far out of town. Good for people who just want to stay at the resort without too many requests. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location especially the pool is lovely but overall we were disappointed with our stay here. The hotel is still in its soft opening phase and I think that comes across - the room junior suite was lovely, very clean, but lacked some basics like bottle opener and enough bottled water. Luxury as expected. Staff does not speak very good English however. The staff were sweet and kind. The pool was divine, the best I have seen. Thoroughly recommend staying here. After our two days and one night spent our only regret was that we did not book a full week at this wonderful place! The resort feels like stepping into a luxurious world of peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and plenty of activities to enjoy like snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, yoga, gym, biking and there was even a giant chess board and Jenga game to play on the grounds. This place is truly unique and one of the best places we have ever stayed at. My partner had his birthday during our stay and the staff kindly surprised him with a cake in our room when we arrived back from a day at the beach. The food was of top quality, especially the lunch down at the beach restaurant was particularly good with a mix of both Western and Vietnamese dishes. We also want to congratulate the resort for having the most friendly staff. They even helped send my lost phone back to me from the island! This was the 2nd time I stayed here, 2 years in a row, and every year, I encountered poor logistics arrangements. First year, they forgot my booking and no one came to pick us up, not until we called even though I had talked with them before our arrival. This year, they again mixed up my arrival time by 2 hours. When we checked in, their staff said there would be shuttle to take us to the town at time of check-out 12pm. We argued with them and all we got back was a sorry their staff maybe forgot to tell us the time. The staff who talked to us at beginning never showed up. We asked to talk to the manager many times but never got to meet them. Worst part, we ended up having to pay for taxi to town and had to sit and watch their shuttle being idle for an hour while we waited for taxi The worst part, we had to sit there and wait for taxi to com. Происхождение названия связана с древнеяванским словом 'нгерис' 'ngeris' , что означает 'колоть', 'пронзать'. Характерная черта клинка криса — асимметричная пята, резко расширяющаяся возле рукояти. Клинок может быть, как прямым, так и изогнутым. Если клинок волнообразный, то число изгибов всегда делалось нечётным. Чаще всего встречаются клинки с 7 и 13 изгибами. По строению клинка крис — колющее оружие. Благодаря форме рукояти и специальным углублениям в клинке крис становился продолжением указательного пальца. Крисы могли носить при себе не только мужчины, но и женщины, однако их кинжалы были меньшего размера. Лезвие не заточено. Материал: восточный дамаск, около слоёв. Рисунок дамаска 'Птичий глаз' и 'Волна' одни из самых редких видов сварного дамаска из-за высокой трудоемкости процесса ковки и повышенных требований к мастеру-кузнецу. Пакет и клинки скованны вручную, по старинной технологии, в земляном горне, на древесном угле, машинная обработка минимальна практически весь клинок выводится вручную. Данная технология применялась в Европе до получения передельной стали и осталась в Азии до наших дней. Приизготовлении клинков используются железо СТ3 , чугун и аналог 65Г. В процессе ковки свариваемый пакет посыпают углем с чугуном и речным песком, происходит науглероживание клинка. Закалка клинков обычно на уровне HRc. Именно разброс твердости слоев даёт дамаску его уникальные свойства. Например, существенно снижается хрупкость. Даже на морозе, при неправильном использовании сломать клинок очень трудно. Дамаску не страшны небольшие зарубки, которые на обычном стальном клинке могут привести к росту трещины и поломке клинка.
