Кроме того, Фукуок - единственное место во Вьетнаме, в котором можно увидеть закат на воде, а это важно. На остров Фукуок мы летели через Хошимин Сайгон. Хошимин поражает очень оживленным движением скутеров на улицах - по сравнению с Вьетнамом в Таиланде очень много машин. В Хошимине в первый день у нас даже не получалось самостоятельно перейти дорогу - приходилось пристраиваться хвостиком к местным, потому что ни машины, не скутеры не собирались останавливаться даже на переходах. Обратите внимание на такси из аэропорта. На выезде там стоит будка, где берут плату за стоянку. Водитель у нас попросил донг р. Мы переглянулись, но дали, однако попросили показать билетик, который ему дал контролер. Будьте внимательны! К омнаты очень чистые и маленькие, но с окном, что очень редкий случай в Хошимине, если платишь за комнату руб. Расположен отель в маленьком переулке - придется поискать. Из самых больших впечатлений в Хошимине — музей войны. Многие вообще не знают, почему война во Вьетнаме была такой скандальной, а ведь американские войска распыляли с самолетов химические растворы, которые разъедали все и уничтожали джунгли для того, чтобы войска на суше могли вести бои с вьетнамцами, невозможные в условиях непроходимых лесов. Однако этот химические реагент влиял и на людей, и миллионы детей уже после войны рождались инвалидами. Фотографии не для слабонервных, однако очень полезные для понимая того, какой страшной и бессмысленной является война. Мы также съездили на экскурсию в туннели ку-чи — это система узких подземных ходов с помощью которых вьетнамцы воевали с вооруженными до зубов американцами. Это впечатляет — туннели такие узкие, что в некоторые я даже не пролезла. Обязательно к посещению, но почитайте отзывы об экскурсиях, мне моя не очень понравилась. Фукуок для меня навсегда останется раем еды. Первые 4 дня мы жили в Phuong Binh House с просто потрясающем кафе прямо на пляже. Вторая часть отдыха на Фукуоке прошла в Freedomland , эко-лагере без горячей воды, с красивейшим душем под открытым небом и изысканным общим ужином за большим столом. Все в бунгало сделано из натуральных материалов. Забронировать Freedomland нельзя ни в одной системе бронирования, только написать на почту. Место не для русских туристов, поэтому нужно знать английский для разговора за общим столом вечером. Вокруг лагеря - только лес, а пляж далековато минут , зато он только для постояльцев. Я не видела там больше 6 человек одновременно, а между тем это лучшее место для купания на Фукуоке. На острове мы ездили на скутере на самый красивый пляж острова. Пляж сказочный, но по бокам - горы мусора. Проблема не в том, что отдыхающие оставляют что-то на пляже, а в том, что мусор выбрасывается морем, и около отелей его собирают, а на бесхозных участках — нет. Фукуок только начинает развиваться как туристический центр. Открываются первые места с вывесками на русском, строятся гостиницы - через 10 лет там будет обычный курортный остров, поэтому я рада, что я туда съездила, пока там еще немного туристической мишуры — я посмотрела на бедных рыбаков, настоящий вьетнамский неказистый городок с курицами, бешено вертящимися на вертеле и компьютерными центрами для подростков. С Фукуока также удобно ездить до Камбоджи. Я не могла не задержаться в чудо-городе Бангкоке. Бангкок стал центром туризма еще начиная с тых. Самая шумная туристическая улица Хаосан - это район, в котором они первоначально селились. Здесь расположены дешевые хостелы и отели, но я Вам не советую тут жить, если вы не хотите веселиться от заката до рассвета. Его хозяин - большой классный афроамериканец Крис — просто образцовый пример американского сервиса. Заранее прислал письмо с картами, как доехать и всеми деталями проживания. Милашки полицейские объяснили таксисту, куда нужно ехать. Это очень маленький новый концептуальный отель, и ночью ресепшен не работает. Я нашла конверт с моим именем, в котором объяснялось, как найти другой конверт под цветочном горшком , в котором были ключи от номера. А внутри вместо захудалого компьютера огромный mac для постояльцев, и вообще — есть что украсть. В итоге район оказался очень классным — вокруг никаких туристов, 10 мин до речного такси, обычное метро далековато, но это не беда. Вообще надо в Бангкоке учиться ездить на автобусах, потому что BTS линия наземного метро — совсем недешевое удовольствие, хотя прикатиться разок стоит. А таксисты часто соглашаются ездить по счетчикам, чего до этого вообще не бывало в случае с иностранцами. Поэтому иногда такси получается не дороже BTS, если вы вдвоем или втроем. Крис очень классный и поможет во всем вам — поймать такси, найти ресторан и т. Он посоветовал нам массаж в отеле Bossotel, там очень все красиво, массаж делают в отдельной комнате, перед этим вы идете в душ и все дела. Тайский массаж там стоит также, как и в обычной забегаловке для туристов, а вот с маслом немного дороже. Но если вы не против, то вперед, очень там профессионально. Нам очень советовали ресторан EAT M E , но мы до него так и не дошли, но потом в последний день я на него наткнулась в центре абсолютно случайно — выглядит очень интересно, а оттуда доносились пение джазовой певицы. Вообще Крис очень смешной — цены в его отеле очень демократичные, а рестораны он советует такие, в каких иногда чек больше проживания в его отеле. Но он просто концептуальный малый, и очень ценит дизайн и обслуживание как в своем отеле, в который он вкладывает всю свою душу, так и в ресторанах, поэтому я не думаю, что Вы разочаруетесь в местах, которые он вам посоветует. Очень милый семейный отель на 12 номеров, прекрасный цветочный дворик, в номерах есть все необходимое, к отелю примыкает недорогой, с хорошим набором продуктов и вещей магазинчик, который держать эти же хозяева. This is a quiet, very pleasant place and the family who runs it is completely helpful and cheerful. The bungalows are basic, but they have been renovated recently; the windows, for example, are new and have screens, so you can have fresh air without worrying about the bugs. We really enjoyed the small village feel of the immediate neighborhood, especially in contrast with the hectic atmosphere on the main road and in the center of town. The sand on the beach is a beautiful yellow-brown, and both the beach and the water were clean. Lovely small bungalows in an overgrown corner near Long Beach. The owner and his wife are very nice people speaking english and german. It was very clean, just as the rooms. The walk to the beach is about 2 min and although there are many private beaches there is a comfy, cheap restaurant at the end of the road where you can enjoy your time. Also the hotel is in a good walking distance to many nice restaurants. Would definitely reccomend! There is no swimming pool or free water or breakfast. There is the most friendly staff. You are a 5 minute walk to the beach. Their convenience store is right there with very fair prices and the beer is as cold as it possibly could be. For the price it cannot be beat! The small hotel 12 rooms has a quiet ambience and lovely grounds. Rooms are small and plain but have everything you need. The beach is a short walk and if you go left you can dodge the beach chair police at the hotels. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended! The place is managed by a young gentleman Duc and his mother, it is conveniently location, maybe a 5 minutes walk from the beach with some very nice beach restaurants and a few bars. The hosts are very kind and responsive to any request we had. It also has a makeshift workout area with spin cycles and some weight training equipment. They recommend you make no noise so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of the place and rightly so. The rooms are very clean and the airconditioning was in perfect order. There are enough toiletries in the bathroom as well. Sunshine Bungalows was very clean with kind and attentive staff always willing to assist. The room was very basic. The bed and pillows were the normal SE Asia super firm. The shower was in a tall bathtub with no curtain or door and it was impossible to shower without getting the polished tile floor wet and very slippery and dangerous. The beach is a minute walk away which is nice. There are a number of resorts right on the beachfront who refuse to let non registered guests use their sand or even their water. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a budget traveler! The Sunshine bungalow has good decor with flower and trees. As its name, you can enjoy the sunshine in the garden that makes you feel so fresh. The location is good, 5 minutes walking to the beach. The owners are very helpful. Worth to stay! The accommodation is near the beach, 10 minutes walking. The room is a little dusty, you should not open the window in the evening cause there are a lot of mosquitoes. Wifi, air conditioner are available. There are some restaurants around the bungalow but no convenient store or market near the accommodation. Stayed for 5 nights while in Phu Quoc and had a great time. The bungalows are about a 5 min walk from the beach and surrounded by places to eat and drink. The family who owns the property were very friendly and helpful always willing to answer questions, make suggestions of places to eat if needed and quick to call a cab. The facilities were clean, functional, and close to beach, while at a very reasonable price. We arrived with the friendly and helpful owner already waiting for us. During the rest of our stay, the friendly support from him and his family made it a pleasant experience, and strongly recommended if you are looking for a good value-for-money experience. We loved our stay at Sunshine Bungalow. The room was clean, and came equipped with towels, a safe, hair dryer, and toiletries. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and the main road. We spent 6 nights here, and could have stayed longer. The family that staffs this hotel is extremely warm and friendly. They are thoughtful and were quick to bring out water or fruits if we were sitting in the common area. They also had our taxi waiting ahead of time when we were ready to leave at 5 AM. Outstanding service, something that you would expect in a 5 star hotel! I have travelled a lot in in SE Asia and I never stayed at a better place. It is run by a super sweet family who really looks after you. We travelled with two kids who got sick and the family were so kind checking in with us, following with us to the hospital for translations etc. It is also very clean and tidy place. New sheets and towels everyday. I could not recommend this guesthouse more strongly. Also, there is a benchpress and a couple of dumbbells there! We love our 'family' at Sunshine! From the first moments they brought our young boys popsicles to movie nights and babysitting seriously: wow! The small garden as well as the rooms are very tidy and neat. The small shop at the reception is very convenient. Walking down to the beach takes 3 minutes on a paved path with little traffic. Even manageable when walking barefoot. There is construction activity in the neighborhood but one can not escape that nowadays in Phu Quoc as new Hotels seem to be build everywhere. I have certainly earmarked the Sunshine Bungalow as a place to come back to in the not too distant future as I live in Saigon. Sunshine Bungalows are a perfect place to stay on Phu Quoc. There are free sun loungers to use on the beach if you ask at reception and they provide beach towels. The family that own the place are incredibly friendly, happy and helpful. They cannot do enough for you. They gave us free mango while we stayed too. Rooms themselves were very clean. We were lucky to be upgraded to a triple room so even bigger than we thought. Shower was lovely and hot. They do not provide breakfast but lots of options open nearby and there is a little shop onsite too. I can not agree more with other good comments about Sunshine. I picked Sunshine base on 3 things: flowers everywhere, style of the furniture and recommendation from previous guests. Sunshine bungalow is located conveniently 5 minutes walk away from Long Beach and a roughly 20 minutes cycle away to Dinh Cau Night Market. Visited the famous Sao Beach and such. Totally love the days spent over at Sunshine Bungalow. There are nice food around the place too! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The family running the place is super friendly and made us feel super welcome! The arranged motorbikes at a very reasonable price, and helped us with everything, including booking the ferry back to Rach Gia. Definitely recommend staying here! The price in Phu Quoc is way too expensive compared to Saigon. However, the hotel provides a good room for travelers in standard price. Only steps away from beach but need to catch a cab to city hub in about 5 minutes. I stayed for 6 nights in late April. This place is relatively new, so all of the rooms have new furnishings bed was super comfortable! There is a beautiful inner courtyard which is meticulously maintained by the owners, with chairs and a table for each room, and is a pleasure to sit in late in the evening or when you want a break from the beach. Room was cleaned everyday and left spotless as someone here noted — not a grain of sand! But above all, what makes this place really special are its wonderful owners. It is a family owned business which already makes it much better than the larger corporate-run resorts on the island , and the couple who runs the place is incredibly charming and kind. The wife always greeted me with a smile and assisted with whatever I needed during my stay, and they dealt with me honestly and graciously. I would stay at Sunshine Bungalow again. It is walking distance to the beach. The staff has been absolutely amazing! The room was clean and I had clean towels everyday. High value for the money. A restful stay. It would have been improved if bottled water and bathroom bits such as toothbrushes, soap were not provided each day even though we paid a premium rate for each day we were there. We were charged a rate for 3 people just because there was not a twin bed room available. The location of Sunshine Bungalow is good. It is run by a local couple who can barely speak English, thus there was VERY little communication available. They were not helpful in any sense anyway. The room was tiny, the shower miserable. Water practically trickled down from the shower head, it was so difficult to wash off sand and sea water after a day at the beach. The fridge never got cool we just gave up trying, and put our water bottles outside. It was slightly cheaper here compared to other hotels in the island, but I would never return there. The owner was very nice, but there was some language barrier since the owner could only speak Vietnamese or German. He has a daughter who could speak very well English and sometimes she acted as a translator. The room was very clean, but the water pressure was not enough. The location is very close to the beach. We met a great Vietnamese couple who could also speak English, which made the trip more nicer. Nice cosy place, close to the beach, 5 minutes by bike from town center.
