The place is located close to Parma only about 10 minutes by car to the center and therefore great if you are visiting Parma by car since there is plenty of space to park your car. We only stayed one night, but did not miss anything and the house has a huge garden. All the pictures shown are accurate. Adriano was very flexible with the arrival time, which was great. The place was terrific- scrupulously clean; comfortable bed and heated towel rack; a great location, generous breakfast; hosts who are hospitable, give great advice about restaurants, sights to see and parking in town. More than all that, they also let us use the washing machine and arranged a personal tour of an organic producer of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. We had a wonderful three night stay at Anna Marias House: Its large, lovely decorated and breathes an inspiring atmosphere full of art and history. With the car its only about 10 min to the centre of Parma, and the city of Cremona is not far as well. It was wonderful to get to know AnnaMaria and we all will remember the nice stay in Luna del Pozzo. Soggiorno in una location splendida! Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub bei Carlos in seinem Naturhaus. Das Haus ist sehr beeindruckend! Carlos ist mega gastfreundlich und hat bei Fragen umgehend weitergeholfen. Fahrradfahrer kommen und er Gegend voll auf ihre Kosten. Absolutely stunning space with breathtaking views. Incredibly stylish and immediately comfortable. Waking up to the sun rising over the hills perfectly framed in the bedroom windows was a highlight of my stay. We also very much enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the early evening with a drink and the wood burning stove made the place very cosy. Carlo was quick to respond to messages and it was easy to pick up and drop off the keys. We loved everything about it. The house is roughly 30 mn by car from Parma city centre, and with good connections to the A1 motorway. In the nearby city of Collecchio, we found everything we needed to shop for food. It is nicely located on the top of a hill, 10 mn by car from the main road. Carlo had left a ventilator which we used at night in the bedroom, on top of the natural ventilation from keeping the windows open during the night. One thing to mention are mosquitoes: they were numerous and aggressive while we were there, and despite repellents we could not benefit as much as we would have liked of the nice terrace. But this is to be expected in this region at this season. Some windows have mosquito nets so you can still leave the windows open and ventilate the house without letting mosquitoes in. The house had everything we needed, even a washing machine which we found a convenient feature as our total stay in Italy was for 3 weeks. The photos and description on AirBnB are quite accurate. We found the house even better than what we expected. We like it when the houses we rent reflect the personality of their owner, not like a lot of AirBnB rentals that are standard and unpersonal because dedicated to this business. And here it was clearly the case. Communication with Carlo was friendly and efficient from the first day. All instructions regarding location, sorting of waste, etc. Everything was easy for check-in and check-out. We definitely recommend this villa if you want to stay in this marvellous region! The house is beautiful and looks just like it does in the photos. The area is very quiet and peaceful, and the view from the master bedroom is particularly lovely to wake up to in the morning. The house is very spacious and has everything that you need. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening to watch the magical sunsets, and the dogs loved the garden. Unfortunately, we had some problems with wasps. A couple of days after we arrived, we noticed some wasps building a nest on the shutters. We then discovered that there were a few nests around the building. We communicated this with Carlo and he arranged a technician to destroy the nests for us. Carlo always replied to my messages very quickly. It took a few days to solve the problem but once it was resolved, everything was perfect. I must say this Airbnb experience will be hard to beat! Location is magic, an open panorama surrounded by sweet green hills. Such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, just a few minutes drive from shops and everything one may need. The house itself has been designed and built in a way that minimizes the impact on the environment. Interiors are stylish but nevertheless warm and cozy. Everything looks even better in real than in pictures! I felt like I was sharing a place with a good friend. Again, experience hard to beat. Interesting design and curiosities in every corner! You will need a car and give yourself min to get into Parma. This is for a stay to relax and enjoy the countryside. Not for everyone, especially families with children under Basic essentials missing from the kitchen. Host says guests tend to want to explore local restaurants, but that was not us as we have young kids. It is a spacious individual apartment all to yourself. The bathrooms are large and recently renovated. There is a large common area and 2 big bedrooms. Simona was so nice and accommodating. The location was perfect as well, driving distance to Modena and Parma. We really enjoyed ourselves!! With two spacious, beautiful, comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bath, we four had plenty of privacy. There is also no wifi at this time. Also be sure you get very specific directions- we had trouble communicating they speak very little English and finding the property. There is no sign. We did not get the story of the place, but it appears that the main villa is adjacent to the ancient former cheese production facility and warehouse that is no longer in use, so occasionally you will hear trains go by. We were not bothered by them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can certainly recommend it to other guests with the above information. Showed us all around and made sure we had everything we needed before we settled in. I slept like a rock that night in the most comfortable bed with yummy pillows. The powerful air conditioning unit in the room was a welcome addition since it was unseasonably hot that day, and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. We had a wonderful buffet breakfast on the outdoor terrace the following morning, complete with delicious home made muffins. Before leaving, Anna Maria gave us all sorts of tips on what to do in Parma, where to park the rental car, where to find the post office and where to get the best parmigiana cheese in town she was RIGHT!! We stayed two weeks and had an excellent vacation. The rooms are spacious and there are enough bathrooms. The lay out is a bit difficult but that does not really matter. Marco offered to meet us at the train station in Milan to come into Parma together. Maria had prepared a lunch for us to have while becoming familiar with the house. So grateful for the extra touches. Marco and his mother Maria were the most gracious of hosts - welcoming us on arrival at midnight and had provided us with plenty of food for breakfast the next day. Marco went above the call of duty of an Airbnb host by volunteering to spend several hours with us as our translator when our baby was sick and we needed to navigate the Italian medical system. Sara is very nice and friendly, she came to pick me up from the train station and offered the ride back when I left.
