We were settled in the room late at night and did not see what kind of view we had from the window. Despite the fact that the room just a huge extra bed was not there. When I addressed this problem, it turned out that for an extra bed they charge 50 euros for a day!!! Therefore, our reservation for 9 nights out of euros turned into euros. Although this information was not indicated anywhere during the booking. The hotel is very far from public places. Hilton is a great place in Nusa Dua for both families and couples. You will see several monkeys around the corridors at times which was hilarious. Staff does make sure it is safe for the guests, though. The monkeys are cute but wild, do not forget it. The place is renovated, overly clean and spacious, so the rooms are absolutely wonderful and fresh no musty smell like other 5 stars in Nusa Dua. I will definitely stay there again one day. The engineer said it was a slope issue and couldnt do anything. So after every use we had to keep pushing the water towards the water hole. My partner and I stayed at the Hilton Bali Resort for two nights at the end of our 10 day trip around Bali and it was great! On arrival we got a free room upgrade to a family room, which was spacious, clean and had great new amenities. This is definitely a location to go if you want to relax by the beach in peace and laze around the pool. Oh and the buffet breakfast was amazing! The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and I think it would be a mistake to not take this option. The facilities were very good and the staff were wonderful. They really seemed to care and did all they could to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The shuttle bus service to Bali Collection did not run during my stay, but as this is provided by Bali Collection the hotel was not to blame. The onsite restaurants are all very good. I particularly liked the Shore restaurant where the fish was always very good. The hotel is quite a distance from anywhere but then it was very nice just to chill and relax and enjoy the facilities. Breakfas is awsome with variety of selections, from cheese and fruits everything was served fresh. I think Staffs were properly trained on custoner service. Breakfast was superb. Love the Balinese feel and decor of the entire hotel whilst our room interiors had a modern coastal feel in contrast. Our hotel room had the best ocean views. The various resort pools are so much fun. The Hilton, being in the exclusive area of Nusa Dua, is well away from shops and restos but we didnt mind as our agenda for staying was to completely disconnect and to just chill and to fully enjoy all amenities. Walked a long way for the hotel car. Waited a long time. Then was told car had problem. Then had to walk back a long way to get another car! My first impression was not good. I am most unhappy about the in room wifi. Why is a resident guest only allowed 15 mins free public wifi at any time and has to log in again and again? I immediately joined Hilton Honours but was told that I can only enjoy the wifi at normal speed on my next visit. I had worked in Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group before. I have never heard of such an arrangement with a 5 star operation. This was totally unacceptable. Other than that things were OK. While I was happy to receive your thoughts on our resort and our facilities, please accept my sincere apologies for the unexpected encounter you described with our arrival experience which we have personally shared to our Senior Leader in the Front Office to improve our services and offer. Despite your disappointment on this occasion, we do hope that we will have the opportunity of being able to welcoming you back to the Hilton Bali Resort at some point in the future and as and when you next have reason to visit Bali. We enjoyed our three days here. The room was spacious and very clean. We loved the pool area and the beach though it was too rough for swimming. The breakfast buffett was excellent with a large variety. We did eat at the restaurant once. It was good but overpriced. Check in and check out was slow. That was the only negative. Check in was terrible and even though internet was included in our package, they tried to suggest this was only in public areas. Otherwise, hotel property was beautiful, rooms were clean and modern and staff were very friendly. The resort seemed strangely quiet and restaurants for dinner seemed to barely have guests in them.
