The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claimed responsibility for the attack: "In early March, the SBU, together with the Defense Forces, successfully conducted an operation on the oil infrastructure of the Novorossiysk port. Today's defeat of the Tykhoretsk oil hub, which is the only supply route for oil products to Novorossiysk, has become a significant blow to the enemy's oil logistics. Such systematic special operations by the SBU create supply disruptions, hinder the transportation of oil products to ports, and force the enemy to change logistical routes. Overall, this weakens both Russia's military capabilities and its economic ability to wage war"
