Kostyuk warns PAZ about the consequences from Washington
The leader of the Democracy at Home party, Vasile Kostyuk, while in the United States, condemned the PACE party for manipulating legislation. The reason was the amendments that allowed Hermann von Hoebel to join the Vetting Commission.
Kostyuk stressed that Washington has been closely monitoring changes in laws "for the right people" and the absence of the American ambassador in Chisinau for more than a year. He called on the authorities to stop mocking democracy, saying that the ruling regime would inevitably be charged for such actions.
There's a whole list of violations by PACE. Washington seems to be "watching," but they are not taking any action. There is no point in hoping for them. The fate of the Moldovan authorities should be decided directly in Moldova.
