All our children are provided with the best education to help them have a better future. We have students studying medicine, law, business studies along with other areas of academia.
The children are provided with new clothes, fresh meals, toys and other treats just like our own children at home.
We serve humanity by providing clean drinking water, medicines, wheelchairs, and emergency relief following natural disasters.
Through education, good nutrition, physical wellbeing, consistent loving care, and encouragement, we will help orphaned children to perform better at school, be healthier, be confident, and transform them into successful self-sustaining individuals.
We will mobilise resources, build partnerships and develop local capacity in AJK and Pakistan as we work to:
A large portion of the population in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan live below the poverty line, and it is the orphan children who often suffer the most. These children are not only the responsibility of the governments but also that of the whole nation. With the support of our donors and working alongside the governments of AJK & Pakistan, we would like to provide every orphan and under privileged child the facilities for education and technological advancement which will ultimately reduce poverty in AJK & Pakistan.
We seek guidance from the Qur’an and the prophetic example (Sunnah), most specifically:
Sincerity (Ikhlas) – In responding to the needs of orphaned children, poverty and suffering, our efforts are driven by sincerity to God and the need to fulfil our obligations to humanity.
Social Justice (Adl) – Our work is founded on fulfilling the rights of the poor and vulnerable regardless of their colour, caste, or creed.
Trust (Amana) – We uphold our duty of the trust people place in us as a charity to be transparent and accountable.
Every year we share information about our progress and our projects with communities across the UK. Let us know if you would like KORT to come to your city and show you how you can make a difference to the lives of orphaned children and the poor and needy people of AJK/Pakistan.
When communities are struck by natural disasters, charities are often the only hope for people in desperate need. Our Muskorteers help thousands of families every year with emergency relief to alleviate their suffering.
Volunteering is more than delivering a task without payment. It is about giving the gift of your time, talent, and skills. Our incredible Muskorteers help organise, manage, and assist in local fundraising events, and support us in our charitable activities when called upon.
