Topics "Compatriots. Citizenship. Migration" and "The Test of Ukraine: Prospects for Freedom and peace" were highlighted in separate breakout discussions, the results of which were summarized at the final plenary session of the Readings.
Congratulations were sent to the Institute by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev, First Deputy Director and Head of the Border Guard Service of the FSB of Russia Vladimir Kulishov, Director General of TASS Alexander Kondrashov, Director of the Institute of European Countries of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Gromyko, Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, chairman of the Synodal Departments of the Russian Orthodox Church for cooperation with the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as for cooperation with the Cossacks, etc.
In connection with the 30th anniversary, the Institute of CIS countries was awarded the "Order of Honor" of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Certificate of Honor from the Governor of the Hero City of Sevastopol and other awards.
At the end of the Readings, Konstantin Zatulin awarded a large group of employees and friends of the Institute with the Honorary Badge of the Institute of CIS Countries "For scientific research and support of compatriots."
