Kolochep island Hydroponics
Kolocep Island is one of the 3 Elafiti Islands just of the coast of Dubrovnik. It is a beautiful, untouched island with plenty to explore and pretty bays and coves to delight in. This is true for all three Elafiti Islands and so only bikes or occasional golf buggies transporting guests luggage are to be seen! The main bay has a beautiful sandy beach and fantastic views. It is good to have this option in case you would like to stay for a dinner in Dubrovnik… or you have to catch the early flight. There is a little shop in the centre of the village and it is possible to buy all basic food there, but our top tip is to stock up in the bug super market in Gruz harbour before you come over to the island if you intend to self cater. Of course if you just want to eat out then there are some very nice options! There are 2 bars and a restaurant in the bay and 1 other restaurant on the island operating June through September. There is also, restaurant in the local hotel which also operates through May and October depending on the number of guests. If you want to get active, it is possible to rent kayaks in front of the hotel and there are paths all over the island for exploring so walking and swimming are always an option!
